It's worth to join, really good infrastructure and facilities .

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified enough. They are very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is good enough to get opportunities in the technical field. It makes students industry-ready. Seniors also help a lot with our career perspectives. Semester exams are not that tough; you'll pass simply without any complications.

The JGEC Diary ( The good and bad side of a Tier 3 college).

Faculty: In our college, some faculty members are good, but the majority are below average. Most of our faculty members completed their degrees from tier 2 or tier 3 colleges. In this course, the curriculum is mostly irrelevant. They don't prepare students to work in the industry. The difficulty level of semester exams is medium, and the pass percentage is 95.

Review of JGEC - Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College.

Faculty: For every department, there are almost 10 teachers, each of whom holds an M.Sc. degree. However, they do not teach us properly, and classes are often canceled due to the teachers being busy. As a result, the teaching quality is rated at 5 out of 10. The course spans 4 years, divided into 8 semesters. Each semester consists of one external exam and two internal exams for every subject. The questions are relatively easy, with a pass percentage of 40%.

In our college, there were some good faculty and nice placements.

Faculty: Mainly, our college teachers are very helpful because they give some suggestions for skills to crack the jobs. Mainly gaining knowledge and some semester exams are difficult, but that will be easy sometimes. The passing percentage is nearly 60%.

Best college of West Bengal .

Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and strict, too. The academic routine is followed very obediently. College has a lot of curriculum to showcase your talent and take a break from studying. Activities like Vishwakarma puja, Saraswathi puja, Srishti, the great Jeclat, and farewells are the top events.

Satisfied because of highly knowledgeable faculties and having decent placement record in 2023.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, cooperative and knowledgeable. They engage students in various research projects and create enormous value in their lives and careers. As the college is autonomous, they alter the syllabus as required. The syllabus is made following the GATE syllabus so that students can prepare for the GATE course simultaneously. The semester exam is moderately tough; the questions are conceptual.

Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College Review.

Faculty: Now, coming to our faculty, in my department, most of the faculty members are highly experienced and most of them have previously served in this sector as engineers, so they have expertise in their field. Most of the professors are Ph.D. holders and M. Tech. They teach in their area of expertise and give excellent lectures. Most of their lectures cover vast parts of GATE syllabus and some professors also do give us GATE questions, If one has any doubt in any topic, one is free to ask to their re...

Good college for placements.

Faculty: Since childhood, I have been enthusiastic to learn about electrical things. I do small experiments on electrical-based topics and I want to do higher studies in this field. That's why I chose this course. The college was good but not enough to prepare us well in curriculum for the real world. I think the course is enough to get a job, so there is no need for any improvement. The exams happen once in a semester and the paper was easy to give because it is an autonomous college.

All you need to know about JGEC.

Faculty: The faculty members are good. They have completed their degrees from renowned colleges. The college doesn’t give enough time to complete the semesters, that is why the syllabus is not taught well. The semester exams seem difficult as the students have no choice but to study on their own.
