JMIT - Seth Jai Parkash Mukand Lal Institute of Engineering and Technology Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Yamuna Nagar

Placements: Being a reputed college in north India, it attracts good companies to the campus that hire the students in good number, especially the students of CSE, ECE, and IT branches. The interested students are placed easily. TCS has been the mass recruiter for many years.

Placements: Placements in the college were good enough. Almost 80% of the students were placed in good companies including HP, Infosys, Sopra Steria, and TCS. A total of 52 students of 2019 graduating batch got placed in TCS. Overall, my rating for placements is 4/5.

Placements: Only a few core companies visit the campus for placements. Only two companies visit the campus for placements. However, the placements for CSE, IT, and ECE departments are good. TCS visits the campus for placements every year. Other than TCS, many other companies visit the campus to hire the students of CSE and IT branches. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, lowest is 1.80 LP, and the average is 2 LPA.

Placements: The college is good in terms of placements. TCS is the main recruiter. Every year, about 80% of the students got placed in the college placements. The college constantly focuses on placements and placement drives which is helpful for both college and students. The average package offered to the students of JMIT was 3 LPA.

Placements: From previous year placement policies are good in my college. The highest package was 9 lacs. A total of 60 -65 companies visited. There were technical and non-technical job offers. Under placement cell we were informed properly about companies selecting procedures. I think 75% of my seniors were placed.

Placements: Ample amount of opportunities are provided to students for placements. The management takes care of your placements after graduation also. On-campus and off-campus placements cover every student who wants to get placed, and they work very hard to provide placements to every student.

Placements: The placements provided by our college are good only for IT and CSE streams. It is the best college in Yamunanagar district. The placements offered for the students of core branches like mechanical and civil are not good, but it is not 0%.

Placements: TCS, Tech Mahindra and Syntel are the companies that visited the college. Most of the placements are offered by TCS. The average package offered was Rs. 3.1 Lacs per annum. The role offered to the students was a junior software engineer. 5-10% of the students got internships. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 10,000. The college has a placement cell.

Placements: The placements are quite good. It is difficult for ECE students to get placed in core companies, but the companies like Airtel do visit the college. The placements in the IT companies are more. In my senior batch, nearly 50% of the students were offered placements, and overall, more than 365 students were placed.

Placements: More than 250 students from our previous batch were placed. The average salary package offered was around 3-4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 6.2 LPA. The companies like Escorts, Tech Mahindra, TCS, HCL, Jamuna Auto industry, CPG, Polyplastics, Cognizant, etc., visited the college for placements. The roles offered by the companies were software developers, project manager, sales manager, marketing consultant, technician, supervisor etc.

Placements: The chance of getting placements on the campus is great. There is a placement cell in our college, but I am dissatisfied with it. Around 50% of the students got placed in different industries. Most of the students got placed on the campus placements, but the industries in which students got placed are very small. So I don't recommend anyone to join this institute.

Placements: JMIT is quite good at providing placements. Students of our college got placed in good MNCs like TCS, Mindtree, Virtusa, Polaris, Cognizant, etc. Along with MNCs, many good start-ups and management companies like Think and Learn visited our college. About 278 students got placed in my batch. As students got multiple placements too, there are 323 placement offers in total, and this number is still increasing. Placements: Campus organises many placement drives for the students. Many big companies like TCS, Mahindra visited campus and gave placements to many who deserved. The training and placement cell is very supportive. 70% of students have been placed in the drives conducted by the campus.

Placements: Mostly all of the students were placed, but average package 2.5 Lacs per annum, on campus no big brands will come except tcs, college will arrange for off campus. TPO is very helpful. Even some companies will offer you as low as they can like 96k per annum which was hilarious.

Placements: The placements of out batch were fantastic as almost 85% of the students who were eligible, were placed in many big MNC's including TCS, Mindtree, Libsys, HP-E, eDYNAMICS, Futuristic Simplified Computing. All the placed students were offered the role of Software Engineer, Trainee, and Software Developer Trainee.

Placements: Placements we're decent for ME. 4 Core companies for mechanical course comes & 10-12 students placed in core companies. Average salary was 2 LPA. The highest stipend was 4 LPA in Escorts. Escorts, Hettich India and Jamuna AUTOMOTIVES were the companies come.

Placements: Placements were okay, I mean college takes effort for students placement, Mass recruiter like tcs visits campus and hire good strength of students, Also certain other good companies like libsys, QA infotech, Daffodils and certain other companies visit the campus.

Placements: Placements are fine for students in IT and computer department. However there is difficulty for students who studied civil engineering from their college. If u want to get a job then try to grab trade related to computer and electronics and don't take admission in civil engineering which is offered in JMIETI (sister college just 20 steps ahead) Avg salary is around 3.5 to 4 lacs and approximately all the students who are clear and hold good with interviews are getting placed. 80 percent of stude...

Placements: There are only a few placements. Only a few companies visit our institute. Before admission, the college says that every company visit, but no company visited during our time and our senior time. Only TCS visit in few times when they required. I think in future college give us jobs.

Placements: Every year many students got placement from here. Teachers also help students to get the placement. This is such a wonderful college in placement. Last year many students were got placement. Many companies has come in our college. 250+ students got placement since 2015.
