A review of JNIT, Jaipur.
Placements: Placements were decent at JNIT, Jaipur. The average package offered was 3 lacs per annum approximately. The companies visiting the campus include Carwale, Apperio, etc. The kind of roles offered were technical analysts and tech interns. Talking about the internships, one had to find internships on their own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. There were separate buildings for each year. The classrooms are well-equipped and well-furnished. The library is quite good with a wide variety of books. There is a medical room, outdoor as well as an indoor sports complex, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and well-qualified, having hands-on experience. The teaching quality is very good involving practical as well as theoretical exposure. The student-teacher ratio also was quite satisfactory. The course is quite updated and relevant to the industry.

Good facilities & low management.
Placements: Placements in the college were not that good. Most companies visited in our college were BPO's. For technical ones we need to visit other colleges or off campus drives. However the placements for our senior batch was way better than ours and also many technical companies visited for that batch.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure was good and having large campus as compared to other colleges. Classroom were good. Talking about library the quality and quantity of the books was good. Sports and Games facility wasn't that good for a day scholar, however hostler were the one who made most of sport and games. Labs were good enough to get practical knowledge but as mamgement does't allows to use after the lectures or when students want to do to enhance their knowledge.
Faculty: Teachers in the college were highly qualified and helpful. Teachers were having sound knowledge of the subjects. However due to the time constraints and mamgement was designed that way, students were not able make most out of it. Curriculum wasn't that good for students to develop themselves professionally and socially.
Other: Campus crowd was good and fest organised was better than anything used to happen in the college. There were minimal events were organised by the college. Connectivity through Wi-Fi or in the computer labs were satisfactory, however the Wi-Fi connection wasn't provided to day scholars.

Average engineering college.
Placements: The training and placement cell is not so much active in JNIT. Only BPO and technical support kind of jobs are offered by companies. Only 3-4 companies come to the campus every year and most of them never give a joining date. In the magazine, JNIT shows students who got placed from outside which has no relation with the T&P cell.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the only good thing which JNIT has. There are two hostels with 2 sharing rooms. 2 canteens are there which are OK. The main building looks awesome. The library is also well-managed and having all books required during the course. The mess food is better than other colleges but no medical facility is there. Classrooms are good and cleaning is good. The playground is so good.
Faculty: Only a few faculty members are good while the rest just for a namesake. Mechanical is a good department according to faculty members. Labs are full of equipment required but the lab assistants don't even know how to operate them so, at the end of the day, there is no use. Practices are being done for a namesake. Overall, faculty members are always busy with their gossips.
Other: In my opinion, all the colleges under RTU are like JNIT only but there are a few positive things which make it better than the others which freedom, playground, infrastructure, mess food, hostel and the Internet speed. Overall, if you don't have any other option left, then go for it.

Other: Good college with value for money. Enough opportunities for placement. This college has the best faculties as the minimum criteria is M. Tech for teachers. Good hostel facilities and ample space for sports facility. Jagannath is a big group having more than 9 college across North India.

Other: There are a lot of things to be improved in this college. Faculty members are good but they lack in practical knowledge. No campus placement. Crowd and campus life is average. Number of extra activities are also less with no quality. The biggest thing is they call engineers for the post of tele callers. So you can understand now.
