A small information about my college (JNTU College of Engineering, Pulivendula).
Placements: My batch students are good in skill development and above average in grades. We have done internships in Wipro. My seniors got placed in Google and Amazon. Average package - 7 LPA. Least package - 5 LPA. The highest package - 30 LPA. Some of my seniors have started startup companies.
Infrastructure: My department is very good in infrastructure and also in lectures. It includes 5 labs used in various situations and 5 lecture rooms used for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and M.Tech students. Every lab has 60 systems and features 2 wall-fitted ACs and 8 fans. Every lecture room has a lecture dias, a 70-student seating capacity, 4 windows, and 4 fans.
Faculty: Faculty members are experts in teaching, and some of them are graduates from IITs. Exams are very planned before the academic year starts. The timetable is declared before the semester starts. Almost 85 percent of students pass every semester, and exams are very difficult compared to other colleges. But the lectures are good, so there's no need to worry.
Other: At present, Computer Science Engineering is a trending course, so I chose this course. It has big demand in industries. There are 5 department fests every year, a farewell for every passed-out batch, and my campus is good in environment and hygiene in food preparation, and it’s tasty.

The college has fewer placements and no placements for other branches except CSE.
Placements: The placements in the college are not as expected, and as an ECE student, there are no placement opportunities available within the college. To improve my prospects, I either need to pursue additional courses in areas like software development, VLSI, or embedded systems, and aim for product-based companies, or I may have to start preparing for government jobs.
Infrastructure: The hostel mess provides food that is generally acceptable, but it doesn't meet expectations in terms of taste, and at times, the food can be quite unappetizing. The menu mainly consists of basic items, with dal served daily and limited variety in curries. Chicken and eggs are served twice a week. The rooms are decent, but the washrooms are not well-maintained.
Faculty: The curriculum is decent but could benefit from modifications to better focus on the overall development of students. It should aim to enhance their skills in speaking, theoretical knowledge, and practical application, enabling them to approach interviews with confidence. Currently, the curriculum is primarily focused on completing the syllabus and conducting examinations, rather than fostering holistic growth and preparing students for real-world challenges.
Other: I appeared for the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam, which is used for admission to B.Tech colleges across various streams. I secured a rank of 23,000 and, after counseling, listed over 10 colleges, placing this college as my 6th choice. I was allotted a seat in the Electronics and Communication Engineering department. Although I could have secured a better college with a reservation, I chose this one, even though it lacks placement opportunities, and most branches, other than CSE, require students to seek placements outside the college.

The college is good at its level best according to its academic. It gave me a lot of memories.
Placements: There are nearly 72 members who were placed in my course. There are no placements in my core. Some of them were preparing for the GATE examination. For internships, each student must have above 70% in academic performance. I have a good bonding with each and every member in my batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my classrooms, laboratory, and library is nice. But the infrastructure of our hostel and canteen is too bad, which is maintained poorly. There is a lot of space at my college, but it is not being maintained. They left it simply.
Faculty: The faculty of my college is good. They guided us a lot. From them, we have learned a lot. They are good at core subjects. Our examinations are held in a proper way. Our academic performance is also good. There is no problem with the faculty or the curriculum. It’s too good.
Other: Recently, we performed a technical fest #PHASOR 2K24#. It was completed successfully.

Good Wi-Fi with high-speed and unlimited internet.
Placements: I am a student of JNTUA College of Engineering Pulivendula. At first, when I joined the college, I thought it was best, but now when it comes to placements, I am not satisfied. Roughly 10-20% of students got placed in my course. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA - 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, Intel, and Texas. All students must do internships in 3rd and 4th years. We are asked to do internships in APLMS portals and government-like companies which are Skilldzire, etc. Internships are offered. Roles offered are electronic design engineer, R&D software engineer, VLSI, and embedded system engineer.
Infrastructure: In my college, the quality of infrastructure available for labs, tables, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a library is good. Its maintenance is doing well. In my hostel, we have Wi-Fi. The quality of the food in the mess is good. The taste of the food is not good. In canteens, the taste is better than the mess. The cost is a bit high. We have emergency medical facilities at any time. Wardens are available at any time. Our college contains a dispensary for any health issues. Students in our college actively participate in sports and games.
Faculty: The quality of teaching is not good. They are qualified and knowledgeable. They are not helpful until we force them by asking doubts. The course curriculum is relevant. If we study with discipline and dedication, it will make students industry-ready. Questions asked in the semester are a bit difficult. If we write anything related to it with the elaboration of the matter, we can get passing marks. The pass percentage is high.
Other: I selected this course because of my EAMCET rank. I applied for my first preference CSE, but I got ECE which is my second preference. The best thing about my course is its infrastructure of classrooms, unlimited Wi-Fi with high speed, and a library. I used to study most of my time in the library. I wish to change teachers who are outdated with present technology. Fests are celebrated individually. When it comes to the ECE fest, our HOD is strict and didn't permit me to celebrate it. The remaining branches are celebrated grandly.

    The college of Pulivendula.
Placements: Okay, but there are no maximum placements; up to 25 percent were placed. The highest salary is 44 LPA, and the lowest salary is 3 LPA. Yes, the placement process is easy, and the competition is less. It's easy to get a job as every class has a single section of 75 students.
Infrastructure: Yes, our college has all facilities like hostels, sports ground and basketball court etc. Every class room has necessary needs and every department has their own laboratories. College has central library and also students canteen. All the places are clean and hygienic.
Faculty: I am studying Computer Science and Engineering. The quality of teaching is good. Yes, my circumstances are favorable and up-to-date; they provide good motivation for studying and upskilling oneself. I believe my college has made me a qualified person and has increased my employability skills and qualifications.
Other: The environment of the class needs to be changed to reflect the work culture in corporate life so that a more competitive spirit can be developed.

Winner view of JNTU Pulivendula. Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members.
Placements: Placements in our college are just average. There are fewer placements for other branches more placements are given to CSE and then next comes ECE students and remaining placements are given to remaining branches and those jobs are based on software only.
Infrastructure: Our college has very vast area consisting of various grounds for sports and many facilities are available like library, computer facilities, etc. For food and snacks, canteens are available and mess is inside the campus. Hostel and mess food is okay to eat.
Faculty: The teaching and learning scope is more in our college. Teaching is moderate in some subjects and branches, but learning scope is more. Examinations are divided into two semesters and conducted each semester half yearly between each semester there are 2 mid examinations followed by external labs and external exams.
Other: I have written an exam called Andhra Pradesh EAMCET and I have secured a rank of 15000 followed by counseling, I have got this college. Nothing happens in our college whole study depends on students, and how we choose our life in these 4 years.
