Overall, satisfied with my experience in the engineering college.

Placements: Placements in the college are average for our batch and junior batch, but the placements are good for our senior batch. The highest salary package offered by Adobe to an information science was around 11 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Wipro, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Sonata, IBM (BPO), etc., visited the campus for placements. Getting the internship from college was hard for our batch and senior batch. Juniors got a lot of internships from colle...

Good college but poor placements.

Placements: Placements for my batch was pretty bad and below average. Out of around 450 students, only 180 of them were placed when compared to around 350-400 students placed in previous years. The highest package offered was around 8lpa, the lowest was 3lpa and the average salary offered was around 4lpa. The only mass recruiter of our college was ACCENTURE and there were also some core companies. Majority of the roles were Trainee engineer and Associate engineer. There is a placement cell in JSSATE. In the...

Satisfied as it is improving in every terms.

Placements: This year I. e. for 2018 batch, the scenario is the worst than ever because a lot of students are unplaced yet and number of companies visited to college is less than half when compared to previous year. It is now the end of 8th semester and only 164 students are placed from all the branches. In our senior batch, more than double I. e. 393 students were placed till this time. Companies like Accenture, Wipro, Atos, Quintiles IMS, Betsol, Cognizant etc. Are visiting college every year with few oth...

If you have good rank around 8,000 to 13,000. You can get admission here.

Placements: The placements in our college are very good. Companies like CTS, Wipro, Mindtree, Capgemini, Accenture visited the campus for the placements. Even companies like Aricent and LTI came for the pool campus drive during the year 2015. Almost 90% of the eligible students who met the criteria of the respective companies got placed. Some of the students got placed in more than 3 companies, but some students did not even get placed in one company.

Good placements in year 2016.

Placements: Placements were good, all the deserving candidates were placed and many had 2-3 offers in hand. People had jobs with decent package and placement officer was good at our time. He helped and encouraged students for placements. We had pre placement learning programme as well.

I am dissatisfied as I have less percentage in B.Tech, I have 62%.

Placements: The placements are not much good in our college. Students with less percentage in their B.Tech are difficult to get placed in this college. As this college is under VTU, it is difficult for most of the people to get good marks, so students who struggle hard will get placements.

The college is best at discipline and career building.

Placements: There are the companies which recruit many students. Among the companies visited the college offered the highest package as 13.4 LPA. The IT and CS departments have excellent placements. The department of electrical engineering has the excellent faculty from NITs and IITs. They will make you prepared to tackle the university exams and competitive exams like GATE, etc.

The college crowd is the thing that keeps the college going.

Placements: The college is renowned for its placements. The quality has declined significantly. Barely 10 companies visited, and 60% of the students were placed. Even the mass recruiters recruited less than 100 students at once. The mechanical companies did not visit for the placements. Only, a couple of them visited and recruited 2 students.

It is attached with UPTU university.

Placements: There are no placements for the core branches, only CS and IT has the placement of up to 60 out of 100 students, and EC branch has placement of 20 percent. Sometimes, mechanical students get placed by Navy company, but if you not get placed then it does not matter. Most of the students are qualified through GATE.

An extraordinary college with a good environment.

Placements: The placements of all branches are good with slightly less ratio in mechanical and civil branches. The branches like CS and ISE have the highest placement rate. EC and electrical students also have good placement percentage. Every year, lots of companies visit the college campus and hire lots of students.

The best college for better people.

Placements: The placements are good, but you have to be well-prepared to face the interviews. The placements depend on how talented you are, and you should be able to know what the expects from you about 60 percent of the students get placed every year. You have to do the internships at your own risk. The highest package was 3.6 lakhs per annum. We have also got a placement cell.

Placements: The placement is good for other branches, but our department is not taking it seriously. We got NBA accreditation this year, so hoping for better placement. Some core branches visit our college. 20% of the placements are available from core companies, but we can try for other branches.

Overall, the mechanical department is average compared to other branches.

Placements: The placement rate is 70% of the eligible students. Mainly, software companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra come for placements. The core mechanical companies are very rare and depend on the luck of the batch. The average package is of about 3-3.5 LPA. The placement training is provided by the college during the 7th semester. The placement cell is active but only for mass recruiters.
