Best College in Mumbai in terms of Campus and Placements.

Placements: I am currently in the first year of PGDM-RM in SIMSR. According to the statistics which I have seen on SIMSRs website the placement opportunities are excellent. 100% students were placed in 2018 and as of many of the seniors are getting placed in big MNCs. Last year the highest package was 27,00,000 LPA, the lowest was 7,00,000 lpaand the average package was 10,00,000 LPA. Top roles were most probably on a managerial position. Currently, there are 70 companies which have come till date for the s...

K J Somaiya Review from a first years POV.

Placements: I'm currently studying PGDM retail management in SIMSR. One of the main reasons why I joined SIMSR is the quality of the placement available here. Especially the retail management sector has a lot of opportunities here in terms of the job profile. My seniors batch (2018-20) had 100 percent placement in a summer internship. The final placement is at 99% last time. The company comes here from all sectors from marketing to sales to research.

Fairly satisfied with the campus but placements are average.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. The ROI is very low as compared to other colleges. Moreover, SIPs offered are definitely not up to the mark. It is a student-driven society, thus creates a bit problem. Companies visiting the campus for placements are up to the mark for tier 2 colleges.

It is a decent college with decent placements and good campus.

Placements: Placements were really good for our senior batch. A good number of companies visited our campus for placements, and they offered some good profiles as well. Placements in our college are 100% except for some students who opt out of the process to join their family business or start-up. Internship placements were also 100% in our college.

I am satisfied with the college, and it is amazing.

Placements: Many companies visit the campus for placements. Major sectors that provide placements include banking and insurance. As Mumbai is the financial capital, there are a lot of opportunities for companies as well as students. People can choose the companies of their interest.

Satisfied with good placement.

Placements: Decent enough. Mostly the placement is cent percent with average of 9-10 Lacs per annum. The companies are mostly branded with varied roles. The placements are similar for both work experience people and freshers. There is hardly any variation. Additionally, many jobs are PPO routed.

The cluster of companies visiting is also very evenly distributed in different sectors. They offer diverse roles and responsibilities.

There is value for money. satisfying placements and teaching styles but the methods can be improved.

Placements: Placements of the 2017-19 batch were satisfactory. The number of companies that visited our campus was almost the same as last year. This year, companies from IT and banking and financial services recruited a lot of students from campus whereas recruitments in FMCG and manufacturing companies were not up to mark.
