Great location and good faculty.

Placements: The internship was much better than expected because of demonetization. With an average stipend of 480, students were above 10k. Final placement of our senior batch was also good because everyone who was looking for an opportunity through the college was placed. The average salary was 10+ LPA where the highest was around 20+ and the lowest was around 7 LPA.

It is a good college to pursue an MBA in Mumbai.

Placements: The college holds a record of 100% placements. Placements are awesome for marketing/sales domain. Many companies which visit for summers offer a pre-placement offer. There are many opportunities for a live project, and thanks to the prime location of the college, Mumbai. The average salary package offered is 9 LPA. There is a variety of profiles offered by the companies. The profiles offered are worth looking up. The average salary package offered in our course is 9 LPA.

This is a mediocre college, and you can do better here.

Placements: Decent brands visit the campus for the placements. The problem is with the process, which is not fair. The placement team is comprising of the students having an upper hand in a process. If I talk about packages, they are decent and ranges from 5 LPA to 26 LPA. However, I would suggest the students aiming for MBA to first look for a profile, and if you are not happy with your work, even in a 50 LPA job, you'll be frustrated.

It is one of the top colleges of Mumbai but not in league with SP Jain or JBIMS though. The course structure is good with the trimester system. Visiting faculty from the industry coming to the college is generally better. Campus is amazing. Somaiya Wi-Fi is available for all the students.

K.J. Somaiya offers an unmatched pedagogy, supported by beautiful campus, great infrastructure and numerous opportunities that would help a student learn and grow. The faculty is extremely experienced and their focus is primarily on the practical implementation of various concepts taught in class. Located in the financial capital of the country, numerous concurrent projects are constantly offered to the students by recognised brands which give them an opportunity of having hands-on experience.

It was a wonderful experience overall, right from the committee events to summer placements and final placements. The faculty is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. SIMSR gave me right amount of balance between curriculum and corporate exposure. Overall, it is a great college and provides value for the money you invest.

College has decent infrastructure. The faculty is experienced and the placements are decent as well. Also, the college is basically student run and there is trimester system even for MMS. The HR and operations batches are also of considerable size. The faculty is approachable. Student committees can go a little overboard while managing though.

I am a second year student of Management Studies and Research in KJSIMSR with marketing specialization. Faculty is good in second year. It wasn't up to the mark in first year. Campus is vast and green. Library and labs are good. College has own Wi-Fi and hostel has LAN with good connectivity. Crowd is good for PGDM though for MMS there are mostly freshers. All activities are carried out with great enthusiasm and many fests are held throughout the year.

The college contains good environment and knowledgeable staff with decent placements. We have tight schedule of lectures and guest lectures. In every semester, we have 9-10 subjects to learn and external faculties are also provided. PGDM is of 6 semester and we have hostel facility in the campus itself. We have 22 committees for student engagement.

It has a lush green campus giving students a very friendly environment to study and interact. Apart from the institute of management, it has many other courses which are integrated in the same campus in Mumbai giving students a lot of exposure. This institute stimulates the overall development of an individual with varied extra-curricular activities along with strong academics. Also, it has consistently held a 100% placements record for the last few years. The faculty is very helpful and highly ...

The location speaks for itself. The core flagship program, PGDM is worth every penny and time investment given the placement track record. If one has aspirations for Mumbai management education, one must look forward to joining KJSIMSR. The alumni base being strong for the college adds to the repute. International immersions form an essential part of the curriculum which helps in the understanding of core business across the globe.

K. J. SIMSR has a great campus and variety of different courses for the students. SIMSR is now granted autonomous status from Mumbai University for MCA course too. I really liked the infrastructure and facilities provided by the institute to students. Classrooms have all the necessary equipment and utilities for academics. Fully Wi-Fi enabled and digital classrooms, with a great library where you could find any type of books. Now, SIMSR has all renewed their computer labs with new computers with...

All the classrooms are air-conditioned that keeps studying environment to remain conducive. The sports facilities are good, with a cricket and a football ground. The college does provide a hostel. There is no system of donation, admission is based purely on merit, and the system is transparent. The faculty is slightly better for the PGDM course, as compared to MMS, but the syllabus is almost parallel. The campus is an entire complex, which is certainly the biggest campus in all of Mumbai Univers...

College was great, awesome peer, best two years of your life. But again Mumbai being the financial capital having so many colleges, getting placements become very tough. It’s ideal you start doing internships early on and get skills to go ahead in the rat race.
