The Institute provides everything that one can expect from a good b school and more. Right from day 1, you're always kept busy in one thing or the other, be it classes or student committees or sports. The group assignments and committee work teaches you so much about people around you, and you get to know yourself better too. It prepares you well for the corporate life that awaits you, as soon as you step out of the college. And lots of student committees means lots of friends and fresher’s part...

I chose Course in Retail Management because I heard that K. J. SIMSR, is one of the best institute who offers a retail program. Also student will get exposure to various industry experts through guest lecture which happen on weekly basis. Also placement is very good for retail batch, as the student get an average package of 9 lakhs per annum. It’s worth to do Retail course f...

K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research has very big batch and management do not support, hence it is very difficult to please everyone, but it still gets done. The unique courses like Financial services, Retail Management and Media communications are really very good at structure. The college is a deal for an aspirant with 2 years of work experience.

Students who want to pursue finance must go for Financial Services course as financial subjects will be taught right from the first year. Faculty placements are also good. Lot of extracurricular activities are organised by student driven committees which is important for overall personal development.

Located in Mumbai, it is the biggest advantage of getting into this college as compared to other colleges in the same category. There is a lot of exposure you get in this college in terms of Industry experts and guest faculties visiting the campus. All courses are good since everyone gets equal opportunity to sit for placements irrespective of the course, so it more depends on the person than the course he/she belongs to. I would recommended it for people with less than 2 years worked. Placement...

The faculty lays more stress on practical learning, everything taught is industry oriented, which makes students industry ready. The campus has roughly 60-70 acres of space (2nd only to IIT Mumbai) with amazing infrastructure and sports facility. The college and placement cell offer one of the best placements in Mumbai and India, compare it with the fees and you have a positive ROI within the 1st year of Job, which is a rare trait in MBA institutes.

This is a great college situated in the heart of Mumbai. The faculty is good, and very helpful when it comes to solving doubts. The guest lectures that are held quite frequently are delivered by industry experts who have plenty of experience and knowledge to share. As far as the infrastructure goes, I'd have to say that it is as good as any top college in the country, and provides sporting facilities and learning aids that are top of the line. The peer group one finds in this college are all in...

It is good college and average placement service because you expect high etc. They provide high campus facilities. They have a good canteen and experienced faculty with good crowd and not only supportive but also with best buddies. KJ Somaiya Engineering College is improving at a brisk pace in terms of placements, infrastructure, internship and crowd. There are many more to list down. The best college to join after VJTI and SPIT in Mumbai.

If you want a good campus, combined with experiential learning and some really brilliant but friendly professors, this is the place to be in. The best part of pursuing MMS here is the autonomy that KJ SIMSR has in terms of academics. Attempts are being made to match curriculum of institutes like IIM. They are also succeeding to an extent, but still in a working phase which can be expected to be perfected in a short span of time.

The college has an amazing campus and gives brilliant return for your investment. For the fees of not more than 7 LPA, almost everyone get placed at a package of 8 LPA or more. Also, the campus is one of the biggest and most beautiful in entire Mumbai. College has a brilliant infrastructure for everything including sports, gym to the number of lecture theatres and auditoriums.

If you see rankings, you will find this college at around 22nd rank but I don't believe in rankings. I have been here from the last 15 days and can see a lot of change in me. I am from Raipur. I was not so open or you can say I didn’t know myself. But as soon as I enter SIMSR (KJ Somaiya) everything changed. It has changed my way of thinking. There are a lot of opportunities. As days are passing by, I learn something new. I have opened up a lot. In next 2 years at SIMSR, I will really be exiting.
