I am dissatisfied with rules and regulations of the college.
Placements: There is no placement related to same course. All branch students should learn coding to earn placements, but students should focus on the chosen course. Maintaining a good CGPA is important. There are fewer placements in the college compared to the strength of the students, and there is a no practical knowledge.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available in the college hostel, but charges are more expensive and not applicable to the fee. Labs are available, but equipment is lacking. Labs follow outdated manuals, and there has been no improvement, such as new guidelines, equipment, or better motivation for students etc.
Faculty: Faculty members may not have sufficient expertise in the subject, and it can feel like they are teaching based on outdated knowledge or without enough practical experience. Pass percentage for exams is 35%. Sometimes, there is a lack of clarity in communication regarding expectations, grades, or assignments, leaving students confused or underprepared.
Other: Students have passion towards the course, but it is not applicable in this college as there are no placements related to the course. New technology should be used in the labs, and more informative knowledge should be provided. There is a lack of motivation. There are no events in college, and there is no interaction between students, such as between seniors and juniors.

I recommend the college and you can have a bright career by joining it.
Placements: In the 2023-2024 batch, approximately 550 were placed at our institute. In 2024-2025, the highest package is 15 LPA (CISCO), and the lowest is 3.5 LPA (Genpact). We got internships at IBM and CISCO. Already the IBASIS company is given on board for the candidates. Still a lot of companies approaching our college, and I hope more placements are possible to be achieved.
Infrastructure: The hostel atmosphere is very pleasant, and we have strict guidelines on ragging issues. The anti-ragging form is filled out for every year by each candidate, and involvement in ragging can end up with 2-5 years of imprisonment with a penalty of 50,000/-. The labs have high-end computers and lab equipment needed for the experiments.
Faculty: The curriculum is designed under the regulations of AICTE, and it changes every 2-3 years depending on the industrial requirements update. The curriculum covers the core concepts of the respective engineering department, and semester examinations are not much more difficult but have to study minimum concepts.

Satisfied with faculty members and placements .
Placements: Lots of placement opportunities are provided by the college every year. Many companies visit our college for recruitment and offer an average package of 5 LPA. Internships are also provided at the placement time. The top roles offered by companies are team lead and junior engineer.
Infrastructure: Basic facilities are available in our college, but the park and other facilities are not well maintained. Computer labs are available in our course. The hostel facility is good here. The mess is separate for veg and non-veg, which is a good thing. Sports and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are good, in my opinion, and they are also polite in behavior. All teachers are well qualified and experienced. Doubt classes are also organized regularly. The course is very good based on my experience. Exams are timely organized in our college, and the passing percentage is above 75 percent.
Other: The campus is good, and all festivals are celebrated here.

B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2021

The facilities, faculty and the placements are top notch in the college.
Placements: The campus drive placements from our course in 2021 were decent; around 53 percent of students got placed. The highest salary was 6 lacs per annum, the average salary was 4 lacs per annum, and the lowest salary was 2.5 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies were Google, Amazon, and Infosys Pvt Ltd. From our course, almost everyone did their internship in various companies. The top roles were designing circuits and manufacturing chips.
Infrastructure: I was pleased with the infrastructure of the college. It was satisfactory for the students, and the facilities are very reasonable. The facilities include AC labs, seminar halls, a library, free Wi-Fi around the entire campus, etc. The facilities provided by the hostel were also great for the students, with good and neat rooms and tasty food available in the canteen and mess at reasonable prices. Games like cricket, volleyball, and basketball are played regularly in the college. Medical facilities are available all day.
Faculty: Electronics and electrical engineering faculty are doing an excellent job throughout the academics, with a proper way of teaching and making every student clear about the concepts. The quality of the teaching has been great. They are knowledgeable and highly effective in their course. The course curriculum is liked by everyone because it makes many students industry-ready. The semester exams are not as difficult as we think, but we need to understand the concepts clearly. The pass percentage was around 78.
Other: The reason I chose this course is that it makes me learn new things and upgrade my knowledge every day. Betterments like bringing new ideas to make students understand the concepts would be great. Mind-refreshing activities.

Little bit about KITSW and I have shared my beautiful experience of my college.
Placements: Average package is 20 lacs per annum. The drives are going on; the present drive for our seniors is Accenture. They are going well; some of them are placed well in those drives. Other recruiters are Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. Microsoft didn't come for our college.
Infrastructure: Everything is good in college, and the hostel facilities are good—not much bad. As we all know, hostel food is not as good as our home food, so no one is satisfied with the food of the hostel. The students are expecting the best food from the college, and hostel management tries to provide good food for the students.
Faculty: Faculty are good and friendly with us. They are always clear about our doubts. Students never hesitate to ask us questions. They are always ready to help us with projects. They guide us very well. And teach us about placements and also about life and how society is, etc.
Other: Our teachers are so helpful, as whatever need we have, they give their best to us. Every teacher is well qualified with a PhD degree. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant to me, and this curriculum makes us ready for industry. Moderate questions are provided by the college in semester, and our average passing percentage is 85%.

Review of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science.
Placements: HCL, Wipro, and Concentrix are active recruiters in our course. Placement rate was 40 percent in our course in the last session. Companies offer an average package of 5 LPA. Internships are provided according to the skills and interests of students. Companies select students on the basis of interviews.
Infrastructure: Hostels are available within the campus with strict security. Wi-Fi facility is available 24 hours. Classrooms are fully ventilated. Libraries are large and well-managed. Food of the mess is good; they use less oil and spices. Medical facilities are available 24 hours.
Faculty: Course is well designed and gives practical knowledge. Teachers are well-experienced and knowledgeable in our course. All teachers are good in behavior and available to help anytime. Exams are strictly conducted in our course, and cheating is strongly prohibited here. Overall, teachers are good here.
Other: Campus is very crowded and surrounding is also good.
