I am a 1-semester student in this college.
Placements: A maximum of 10% of students get placement here. The fixed salary package is not offered to students. Only 20% of students got a chance to force workshops welfare. An internship is not provided at this college. A large number of students get admission to our college every year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and library are the greatest part of our college. Classrooms are average. A lift is available in our college. The seminar hall is very big for function. Our college has a museum. Our library is very big. The department is very good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are helpful and friendly. They are well-educated, and they have a lot of knowledge. Semester exams are not very tough. There are 6 to 10 faculty members in every department. Some of them passed from the Indian Institute of Technology.
Other: I have chosen this course because I love this subject.

Well organised and knowledgeable environment.
Placements: No placement available. So no companies were come in the college. But we students can apply for internship in various sectors. 4% of us got internship opportunities. After completing graduation, we need to go for post graduation. After that, we can apply for various types of job roles in various sectors like industry, health, pharma, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well organised as per the course requirements. There is a B.Sc. Type 1 with other notable lab equipments. There is a central library and also Wi-Fi connection is there. No hostel facility is available. We need to organise PG on our own and it is available nearby in walking distance.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and teaching quality is very good. They are always welcoming and satisfactory to talk with them. They always guide for our betterment. This course is very relevant for industrial opportunities. Semester exams are moderate difficult and 99.8% is pass percentage.
Other: I love microorganisms and there livelihood. That is the reason to choose microbiology. But I wish to know more about viruses which is not too much in graduation level. Events and fests are organised on the scheduled time line. Campus is not too much crowded. Railway station and bus stop are nearby. Surrounded with greenery. Scholarship opportunities are there. Intra and inter departmental competitions are also organised.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Statistics - Batch of 2021

Kalyani Mahavidyalaya, a college that everyone should notice.
Placements: There is no campus placement, and that's quite obvious. It is not a college for professional studies; most students pursue higher studies (M.Sc., MCA, MBA, PG Diploma, etc.) or prepare for competitive exams such as UPSC, CGL, Defence, Banking, etc., after their graduation. After my graduation, I pursued my masters, and then I started working as a Data Scientist in the corporate sector.
Infrastructure: The campus life is pretty good. There are two grounds inside the college campus where students engage in different activities and have good times with their classmates. There's a canteen that maintains proper cleaning and hygiene. The college also has NCC camps and a debating society. There is a central library that allows students to access any books, magazines, or journals and computers for educational purposes. Unfortunately, the college doesn't have any accommodation facilities.
Faculty: The faculty of Statistics is really poor. The college should take action to fill out the vacancies and train them with proper skills. There are only two professors in the department. The faculty isn't capable of covering the entire syllabus. Due to the lack of professors, students often feel pressure to complete the curriculum by themselves. The academics are not up to the mark; it almost feels like a secondary class. However, the internal exams and semester exams follow the exact schedule.
Other: I had no other options left to secure my admission in Statistics, so I chose to pursue my Bachelors from this college. There are no written tests, interviews, or group discussions required to get admission there; just submit an online application with all the details and mandatory documents, and they'll invite you for an open counseling based on the marks in 12th. Students are eligible to avail of all the state and national scholarships. The college authority is very active in processing and sanctioning the application without any negligence.

Good infrastructure and satisfied with my course.
Placements: There are internship opportunities available after second year. Many students from this college have secured places in institutes like IISC Bangalore, IITs, etc. for higher studies. Most students prefer to pursue higher studies like M.Sc., MCA, MBA, Ph.D. etc. Many of them prepare for competitive exams like JAM, GATE, UPSC, etc. Our college has collaboration with Price Trade.
Infrastructure: There are many labs available. The classrooms are well maintained and there are projectors available for teaching. There is a central library that allows students to access books, magazines, or journals and computers for educational purpose. The food in the canteen is not up to the mark.
Faculty: The teaching quality is quite good. The professors are really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable in our course. The course is rather tough but a good one. Proper guidance is provided for future planning including higher studies, better job opportunities, etc. No hostel facilities are available.
Other: The campus surroundings are quite good. Seminars are conducted at times. There are no lab assistants in our course which is a bit problematic.

Review of Kalyani Mahavidyalaya.
Placements: There were no placements in this college. It was a government college. The education minister did not allow any kind of jobs in this college.
Infrastructure: Facilities were very good. Free Wi-Fi facility was available in this college. Computer laboratory was great. There were more than 40 computers in the laboratory. Classrooms were well-maintained. There was a huge library on our campus. Canteen was very good.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good. They were helpful and well-qualified. The teaching quality was good. Faculty members were friendly with students. Semester exams were not difficult.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about this course was that we could gather in-depth knowledge.

You don't get any placements but the faculty were very good and helpful.
Placements: In this college, you don't get any placements because they won't provide them. In my year, we didn't get any placements, and in past years, they didn't give placements. But yes, you can make good friendships over there with your classmates because they don't have any kind of internship or placement.
Infrastructure: Yes, you can get Wi-Fi labs and classrooms that are very well maintained. In the library, you get a big library, and they have a common room where you can go and play indoor games like carrom board table tennis or outside games like cricket volleyball rackets.
Faculty: faculty was very good the teachers help you a lot if you get stock anywhere If you don't give them assignments, nobody gets full marks teachers don't come in your class so no worry about your attendance; they give you full marks in attendance and talk about assignments they give you but did you don't tell you when you have to submit? Most people don't submit.
Other: There is beautiful-looking college greenery everywhere, and in the great canteen, you can get various types of foods at a cheap rate. They also have a common room where you can play cream boards and every other game.
