Placements: Almost half of the students from computer science and IT got placed in TCS or Wipro with a CTC of 3 LPA. Media Tech took 6 students from electronics at 6 LPA. TCS offered remote internships with no stipend. Some got internship via other sources like internshala.com or any other off-campus source and got paid accordingly.
Placements: Mass recruiters like TCS do visit the campus every year, recruiting almost 50% of the students of the whole batch in one go. There were many other small and big companies recruiting in small numbers. If you are someone who is from CS/IT, then you don't have to worry about placements at all because who cares about campus placements when you have a lot bigger ocean of IT firms out there (I mean off-campus opportunities) seeking quality candidates.
Placements: In the college, approximately 4-5 companies recruit every year. The package of companies is not that much (3-4 lakh rupees). Mostly dependent on TCS. About 50% of the students get placed. The highest package is about 3.5 lakh. Good posts are not provided to the students who qualify.
Placements: Placements were average. TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and HCL were regular recruiters each year which hires around 30-40% of the students at a salary package of 3-3.5 LPA. For civil engineering, Ansal and Soma were regular recruiters. Other than these, MediaTek, Lava, Adobe and Snapdeal also visited the campus which offered good profiles and a good package ranging from 4 to 8 LPA.
Placements: In our college, TCS regularly visits every year. Every year, 100-120 students are placed on an average. Besides from TCS, Wipro calls the students for pool campus in Lucknow, and the number of students placed in Wipro is 60-65 on an average. The salary offered by both of these companies is 3 LPA approximately. Apart from these companies, sometimes good companies like Snapdeal occasionally came. The students placed in 2015 in Snapdeal are 3 and the average package offered was 6.7 LPA. Apart ...
Placements: For placements, I would say that only some service-based companies visit our campus every year and offer a package of about 3.3-3.4 LPA. TCS is one among them and in fact sometimes, is the only one to visit. For my batch stats, the figure was 122 students placed in TCS and 65 in Wipro including all streams of the college. So, we can conclude about 40% students were placed in the 2016 batch. Apart from these, the last year visitors also include Idea, Lava, and Mediatec which also selected approx...
The location puts the college at a big dis-advantage. The learning environment is not so conducive and labs & equipment are not well updated. Most of the faculty members are guest lecturers and not well educated. Infrastructure is not up to the mark with low maintenance. Library has a collection of large number of books of which most of them are outdated. If we look at the placements, almost 80% students of computer science, IT and Electronics get placed. Overall, campus placements barely stand ...
A very old institute with a good reputation. Placements are below average, mainly because of the location. Fee is less. Hostel life is just awesome and relations between seniors and juniors are very good. The College has a strong alumni base. Forums and councils are good, but exposure is less.
KNIT Sultanpur is one of the state government autonomous college of UP which holds a good reputation in UP East and this the only thing that take me towards this college. But, after entering in the college I realized that it was the biggest mistake of my life, except its name there is nothing to live in the college neither the campus nor the environment is good. And the main thing on which the career of the students depends means education and placement, even in that it lags behind very much. I ...
KNIT Sultanpur is an autonomous state govt. engineering college of Uttar Pradesh, It takes admission through UPSEE. Cons- - Remote location (Sultanpur) has various disadvantages i.e. a) No good coaching for preparation of competitive exams like CAT, GATE, etc. b) Companies often postpone the visit, location being the reason. - Faculties are neither helpful not very qualified. - Infrastructure is pathetic. Pros- - College is Academically Autonomous (i.e. exams are conducted by the college auth...
Placements: Seventy percent of students were placed during placement from the overall batch, and they got an average placement of 6 LPA. There are many companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. visiting the college to find skilled students. The highest on-campus placement is 51 LPA. Overall, it is the best college.
Placements: No one was placed from civil engineering. Although a few companies visited here but with low packages of about 3-4 LPA. Most of the students of core branches are preparing for government exams. Prism, L&T, and Reliance visited our college but did not take anyone.
Placements: Around 50% of the students of information technology got on-campus placements from the college. The highest package offered goes around 9 lacs per annum every year. The average package is approximately 3-4 lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Tata Consultancy Services, Global Logic, Optum United Health Group etc. These companies recruit a higher number of students than any other company. Other companies also visit the campus to recruit, but only a few students get offers. Very few co...
Placements: 3-7 LPA is the highest package offered in computer science branch. The average package offered is 3.5 LPA. TCS, Snapdeal, Amazon, etc., came here. Support engineer roles are offered. TCS is the mass recruiter that comes for job fairs. Overall, the placements are quite sloppy. Most of the students rely on further studies for better jobs. 80% of students got placed.
Placements: It is government college but here company don't want to come for placements. Faculty member didn't try hard to get the company invitations. In 2016 our placement cell try to call some company. Some of them came and take interview and promise to give student job but they don't give answer on mail at least. Overall placement here is not good.
