A good college compared to other government colleges.

Placements: The placements are average. The package up to 3.5 LPA is offered by the mass recruiting companies like TCS. Some students also got selected for other companies for a higher LPA package. About one-fourth of the students got placed in TCS, and some more talented got into other good companies.

Good government college, good faculty but facilities not good, worth taking.

Placements: On campus placements of core branches are not up to the mark. CS and IT branch average salary is about (4-5) lpa. TCS, Infosys, amazon, media tech, adobe are few of the recruiters. In non core branches placement is 70-80% while in core its 8-10%.

Review of Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placements conducted in our college are good. Students from CS, IT and electronics branches get placed easily from the college. Several companies visit the college every year. If your grades are good, then there are enough chances for you to get placed. No need to worry about placements. I heard that the students with grades above 8 can easily get placed.

Acknowledge yourself, value your efforts and see yourself growing in what the college offers.

Placements: High expectations won't pay off good. For core branches including electrical engineering as well, the private jobs are only limited to TCS, Mediatech with demands as high as skies. GATE would be a better option as the college environment provides a greater opportunity in the field of the public sector.

Good college and faculty.

Placements: The placement was average as it was a government college back then. Now it may have improved. Placements are always good for CS IT but other stream students have to struggle a lot as hardly one or two company visit for the mechanical students. They have got no option other than looking outside and the package offered is also okay, not great.

It was an overwhelming journey for us to be a part of KNIT. The college journey had been amazing.

Placements: The placement was better for senior batch than ours. Around 60 students of our batch got placed in TCS. Few were placed in Tech Mahindra. Civil branch students got placed in Ansal. For our seniors' batch placements happened in companies like Samsung, BEL, TCS.

Satisfied with college activities, students and infrastructure, not satisfied with the placement.

Placements: The companies to come for placement were TCS, Idea, MediaTek, Lava. Lava and MediaTek came for our seniors as well. Many students were selected in pool selection of Wipro held at Lucknow. The average package offered was 3.2 lacs per annum. The highest package was offered by MediaTek which was around 7 lacs per annum, and 3 to 4 students were selected in that.

It has good placements with average infrastructure and location.

Placements: The placements are quite good for CSE, IT, EL branches. Approximately 75% placement in there these branches. The package offered is around 6 lacs per annum. The companies visiting every year are TCS, Wipro, HCL, Adobe, Amazon. Last year, Amazon hired 12 students for 10 LPA package. The core branches placements are not good.

Everything here is satisfactory. But every year, our college performs good in GATE and PSUs.

Placements: In the computer science and the IT branch, there is 50% placement, and in the electronics branch, there is 30% placement. No placements are provided for the core branches. The highest package offered is Rs. 7 lacks, the average package offered is Rs. 3.25 lakhs. TCS, Amazon, Wipro are the companies that visited the college. The college provides no internships, but the students manage the internship on their own.

The college experience till now is nice, fun satisfying. I learned a lot from seniors

Placements: The situation of the placement is not very good, especially for core branches such as civil, mechanical and electrical. Most of the companies that visit the college are IT and electronics-based. Around 50% of the total students get placed and most of them are of CSE, IT or electronics. The highest package that was offered was of 10 lakhs by Adobe. The lowest salary was offered by Pie Infocomm that was 2.4 lakhs. The average package is around 3.5 lakhs. KNIT is average for average students but you can get more than your limit if you study seriously

Placements: The placement is quite average for CSE and IT branch students. Near about 50-60% students get campus placement but the package above 6 lakh pa is offered to 5-6 students including both CSE and IT branch students. The highest package previous year was 9 lakh pa. Most of the students get a package in between 3-4 lakh pa. TCS takes a major part in placement. Other companies like Amazon, Global (startup) also offer a decent package but only to creamy students. ...

Review of Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT)

Placements: Near about 100 students got placed and some students got selected in GATE and CAT. TCS, Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro and other companies come. The maximum package is 13 lacs per annum. KNIT is not good for its placement but here, students get higher positions after getting a job because one of our alumnus is also the GM of Google and a lot of alumni are entrepreneurs so you can say the college is good but its placement is not good. The average package of this college is 3.6 lacs. ...

A college worth the time and money.

Placements: Placements at Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology can be considered as good because in a capacity of 360 students every year, from the campus and some of the off-campus placements, the figure always remains 150 at the end of the session. Tata Consultancy Services is the mass or day-0 recruiter in KNIT. They offer a post of assistant system engineer - a trainee post with a pay of 3.6 LPA. Apart from TCS, Wipro is another big recruiter from the college. For non-IT guys, MediaTek visits the campus...

KNIT- a warm satisfaction in the fields of academics, placement, infrastructure, etc.

Placements: Major placements took place in CS, IT, and electronics branches with packages between 3.5 lpa to about 16 lpa. Core branches provide wonderful ranks in IES, GATE, CAT, etc. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Mediatech, Lava, Amazon, Adobe, etc. come to the college for placements. Core people easily get absorbed in Ansal, L&T, PWD, Siemens, Havels, etc. and PSUs.

One of the best faculty and environment for studying is the only reason for college ranking.

Placements: The placements were good for 2013 -2017 batch. Most of the placements were from TCS. Some startups were also there providing nice packages of 8-9 lakhs per annum. Two of the seniors got placed in that company. Amazon was also one of the recruiters, offering packages worth 8-9 lakhs per annum, and 8 of my seniors got placed there. The companies like Mahindra, Snapdeal also visited the college for placement season. Overall, the average package was 3.5 -3.75 lakhs per annum. The placement of 2014-2...

Just like any other old government college but with some perks which you have to search and find out

Placements: We have a lot of software companies approaching our college for campus placements but talking about core branches like electrical, electronics, civil, etc. There are very less chances of getting into a suitable company as there are negligible campus drives for us. Around 4 to 5 students from each core branch get placed in the companies visiting our campus and the companies are TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Mediatech and Adobe, so the students from CS and IT branches have a lot of scope. ...

Placements becoming better. Great crowd. Developed my personality and management skills also

Placements: The placements in the college are becoming better for CS, IT and EC branches. But it is still the same for the other core branches like civil, mechanical and electrical i.e. not at all. The students of these core branches may get placed in the companies which come to hire CS, IT students like TCS but there no companies of their domain. In the year 2016-17, many companies visited the college and around 80% of the CS, IT and EC students got placed. The main recruiters are TCS, Wipro and Mediatech ...

Placements: The placement is good. Many MNCs visited our campus. The college had on an average 65% placements in recent years. The highest package is around 6.5 LPA, the lowest package is around 3.3 LPA and average salary offered is around 3.9 LPA. Students were offered posts of ASE, tester, software developer, etc.

Good and supportive environment for studies

Placements: The placement is pretty good in our college but with respect to mechanical engineering, it is around 40 to 50 percent with an average package of around 3.5 lakhs. The highest package ranges from about 8.5 lakhs on campus to 10 lakhs off-campus. Students get to manage internships on their own but our college issues recommendation letters for internships to every willing student. It also helps and directs them.
