College is good but infrastructure is not modern. Placements are good but need to be increased

Placements: The placement is good. Many MNCs visited our campus. The college had on an average 65% placements in recent years. The highest package is around 6.5 LPA, the lowest package is around 3.3 LPA and average salary offered is around 3.9 LPA. Students were offered posts of ASE, tester, software developer, etc.

Good and supportive environment for studies

Placements: The placement is pretty good in our college but with respect to mechanical engineering, it is around 40 to 50 percent with an average package of around 3.5 lakhs. The highest package ranges from about 8.5 lakhs on campus to 10 lakhs off-campus. Students get to manage internships on their own but our college issues recommendation letters for internships to every willing student. It also helps and directs them.

Overall, faculty and placement procedures are really nice and appreciative.

Placements: The placement is good. On an average, the package is between 2-6 lacs per annum. The training and placement department is very active and gives their 100% in the placement procedure. There are many companies which hire eligible students. The companies which visited our college are Lava, Ansal and 2-3 PSUs for electrical engineering students. Placements are done according to their different criteria for which students are eligible. There are 60% placements and job opportunities. ...

Satisfied with the faculty and the placements. The infrastructure is not so good.

Placements: The placements were average. The highest package offered on-campus placement was 20 lakhs per annum. Companies like Adobe, Indian Army, Tech Mahindra, Snapdeal, Amazon, TCS, etc. are regularly visiting the college for on-campus placement drives. The roles offered to the students were mainly in the technical field.

Average college with a good environment for studies.

Placements: Placements are for namesake. That too in the IT sector and in companies like TCS and WIPRO. Few other companies like Ansal, Amazon, Techmahindra, Snapdeal, Idea and Lava sometimes also visit the campus but not regularly, so there are 50-50 chances of being placed. But if you are good enough, you can crack GATE, CAT, IES and other similar exams. You can get a lot of opportunities to embrace yourself in those 4 years.

Good placements in 2015 for CSE and IT branches. AIR 13 in 2016 was from the CSE branch.

Placements: Placements for CSE and IT branches are above average. There were placement schedules for other branches as well. 7-8 companies visited for CSE and IT branches. I don't remember the name of all the companies but TCS recruited most of the students. On an average, 3.2 LPA was offered to the students by TCS. You can also go for off-campus placements in other colleges for Wipro and other companies. Many of the meritorious students were selected in PUSs. You will get plenty of time to study for your f...

Placements: A maximum number of students were placed in TCS and they offered a package of 3.86 lacs per anum. After that, no company hired students in bulk. The companies visit and select only 2 to 3 students from a specific branch. Media Tech offered a package of 5 LPA for electronics students.

A college that gives an idea to identify yourself in your own way. My college is too good.

Placements: Every year, most of the students from CS, IT, MCA, EL etc. (70-80%) are placed in reputed companies. They are offered approximately 4 LPA from TCS. Many more companies are also recruiting here like Wipro, Amazon etc. There are many events and forums organised that help students at a deep mental level.

Pros - placement cell, student councils and sports & games; Cons - infrastructure and location.

Placements: Last year, the placements were really good. TCS, a regular recruiter from our college, visited our campus and recruited 122 students. That is the maximum students it has ever taken from our campus. Salary offered was around 3.3 LPA. A lot more companies came like Idea, Mediatek, Lava, etc. Although, the number of companies visiting our college, in a location like sultanpur, was decent, they were mostly recruiting ELE, CSE and IT branch students except the mass recruiters like TCS. I am satisfied with the college. A nice place to study.

Placements: It is average. Only TCS, Ansal, Wipro and Tech Mahindra come for the placements. For computer science and IT, it is good. In these branches, the placement is 100% but not at a very high package. For core branches, the placement is not so good. One can try off campus placement too and apart from the placement, one can also prepare for government examinations. During some years, good companies like Snapdeal and Adobe also came for the placements and they offered a good package but only to a few st...

Placements: My seniors got placed in TCS, Wipro and Mediatek companies. They got 3 lakhs package from TCS and 7 lakhs from Wipro. Around 70 students were placed in TCS. One of my seniors got 13th rank in the GATE exam. Overall, the placement for CS, IT and MCA is satisfactory (around 25-30%).

Faculty, facility details and the environment around the campus for students at KNIT.

Placements: Placements are normal. CS and IT students are placed. Companies such as TCS and Idea had visited the campus and many students also go for poll campus. In my branch, hardly 10 students get placed every year in the campus recruiting companies like TCS. But there is a good chance for students to get selected in GATE exams as the records of previous years show. Many students got selected in some good companies like Google and others this year on their skill basis. So, it is good. ...

Its electrical engineering department has produced students that are well settled not only in India, but all over the world. It's a government college in U.P. The facilities and staff is good. The hostel is at main campus. The college is situated 3 Kms away from the City Sultanpur on a very quiet place. The college faculties are good but you have to study on your won most of the time. Placement cell was not that active that time but I am not sure if that changed now. Food in Hostel mess is better than any other institution. As it's a government institute the fee and other expenses are very low.

The college Infrastructure is very good also. The campus is in the area of 100 Acres including the greenery, garden, Play-Ground, college building and 8 hostels.

This is a UPTU government college that ranked 2nd in 2005 (my year of joining). Government colleges are always esteemed and only a higher rank can get admission. Less fees, better ranking and better placements (it actually depends on TPO and batch) Owing to the location- Sultanpur, life in general was bad especially for people coming from big cities like Lucknow and Delhi. Crowd and campus had nothing much to offer. Faculty is generally senior but classes are not that impactful and you are gene...
