It is the best college in our state for our course.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placements. However, we can join the other colleges of the same rank after the course. But if we look into placements provided by the college, then it is disappointing as they don't have such provision for this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is amazing. The library and classrooms are well-equipped. The campus provides everything. Gymnasium and swimming pool are excellent. Hospital is extremely functional and has great emergency handling capacities. The campus is enabled with Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Faculty members are from extremely good colleges. Faculty members in our college are fabulous. They share their experiences and knowledge with us, which brings the best from ourselves. They motivate and impart the maximum of their potentials to us. Teaching methodologies are updated and at par with today's world.

An insight into KALINGA INSTITUTE OF DENTAL Science.
Placements: The BDS course doesn't offer placements like engineering, MBA and other courses. However, they provide paid rotatory internship (which is a part of the 5 year course programme). The stipend is amongst the highest offered in indian dental colleges. Also the patient flow is satisfactory.
Infrastructure: There are 9 well-equipped and fully functional departments. Others:
6 air conditioned lecture theatres, Phantom lab (preclinical conservative lab), Preclinical prosthodontics lab and an air conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 300 approximately. Air conditioned library is also there.
Faculty: The course curriculum is in accordance with the DCI. Its a 5 year course (4+1)
Includes a year of paid rotatory internship. The faculty is highly professional and holistic. Every department has at least 4 MS staff designated as HOD, professor and reader. Professor along with clinical tutors.
Other: As it is a part of the KIIT University, the events are in accordance with the same. Other than that there are various conferences.

Director doesn't do his job. He is not at all cooperative.
Placements: In medical colleges, placement is 100%. The highest monthly salary is above Rs. 1 lac initially, but later, one can earn unlimited income. No companies come to recruit. Every student does an internship in our college. Top roles depend on the job the student is doing.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure: everything is there but not very well-renovated. The hostel is good to stay in. The mess food is not up to the mark. But the only problem is that the room's windows are only for one person; the other person can't get any access to the windows. I need additional supplements to survive. The food is dipped in oil. Vegetables are fried to a crisp.
Faculty: Some teachers are good but not very good. Others only read PPTs and are not concerned about our knowledge. They don't communicate well with students, though they have big degrees. Yes, this course is relevant. Questions are average. 50% is the passing percentage.
Other: I chose this course because I love to study medicine. Events are organized. Scholarships are awarded to the top 3 rankers. Extracurricular activities are a bit limited.

Kalinga institute of dental science is a heaven for students who want both academics and social life
Placements: Medical and dental colleges are professional colleges so there is no tension of placement. Placement is good. Your future is settled. You can work with senior doctors after completing internship. You can prepare for MS side by side. After completing BDS you can work for any hospital or open clinic. You can start preparing for MS if you want to get into teaching line and become a professor. BDS degree has many scopes. Jobs just after completing BDS will carry packages of approximately 10 to 15 thousands per month. It will increase as your experience increases.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. This is a DCI approved college. Library is there with books on different subjects. Classrooms are good in condition. Quality of food is great. Hostel rooms are good. Boys hostels are known as King's palace and girls' hostel are known as Queens Castle.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified and overall their behavior and teaching method is good. Actually it depends on teacher to teacher. BDS is a 4.5 years course with 1 year compulsory internship. Practicals classes are happening daily. 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of BDS has some of the MBBS subjects and final year is complete specialisation of dentistry.
Other: Social life of kalinga University is awesome. Its a heaven for students.

The campus is good. Faculty members are good. Good infrastructure. Moderate patient flow.
Placements: There is no placement as it's a dental college, and since it is a part of medical college, according to DCI, it has the internship programme for 1 year. Since it's a medical college, placements are not currently present. I do hope that the medical boards someday would put placements in medical and dental colleges.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college has good equipment and offers a good background to deal with a patient, but lacks in providing materials required while doing work with a patient. Otherwise, the infrastructure is overall good with a moderate patient flow in the hospital.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They do help a lot to the seeking student, but sometimes faculty members of some departments become too aggressive towards their student and unnecessarily take their anger upon them. Otherwise, from the aspect of teaching, they are good.
Other: We don't get holidays during our own fests.

Absolutely satisfied with its faculty, superb infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: There will be a superb placement here, according to your result as it deals with the medical subjects. The salary for the internship is Rs. 10,000 per month. Also, everyone got the internship in this college itself as one has to do the internship here only and the stipend was Rs. 10,000, which is very useful and I love it a lot.
Infrastructure: It has the best infrastructure, and I loved to go to the classes. It has a Wi-Fi available for each student individually. They also have labs for each ward. It also has AC lecture theatres and an AC library. It also has sports room. The food in the canteen is also great. Also, the hostel rooms are good and are double seated. I love it.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and mentors each student. They are also well-educated professors and are qualified. Their teaching quality is also superb. It also has digital classrooms. There are many faculty members compared to the students. The course curriculum is also superb and is well organised.
