It is the best college in our state for our course.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placements. However, we can join the other colleges of the same rank after the course. But if we look into placements provided by the college, then it is disappointing as they don't have such provision for this course.

An insight into KALINGA INSTITUTE OF DENTAL Science.

Placements: The BDS course doesn't offer placements like engineering, MBA and other courses. However, they provide paid rotatory internship (which is a part of the 5 year course programme). The stipend is amongst the highest offered in indian dental colleges. Also the patient flow is satisfactory.

Director doesn't do his job. He is not at all cooperative.

Placements: In medical colleges, placement is 100%. The highest monthly salary is above Rs. 1 lac initially, but later, one can earn unlimited income. No companies come to recruit. Every student does an internship in our college. Top roles depend on the job the student is doing.

Kalinga institute of dental science is a heaven for students who want both academics and social life

Placements: Medical and dental colleges are professional colleges so there is no tension of placement. Placement is good. Your future is settled. You can work with senior doctors after completing internship. You can prepare for MS side by side. After completing BDS you can work for any hospital or open clinic. You can start preparing for MS if you want to get into teaching line and become a professor. BDS degree has many scopes. Jobs just after completing BDS will carry packages of approximately 10 to 15 th...

The campus is good. Faculty members are good. Good infrastructure. Moderate patient flow.

Placements: There is no placement as it's a dental college, and since it is a part of medical college, according to DCI, it has the internship programme for 1 year. Since it's a medical college, placements are not currently present. I do hope that the medical boards someday would put placements in medical and dental colleges.

Absolutely satisfied with its faculty, superb infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: There will be a superb placement here, according to your result as it deals with the medical subjects. The salary for the internship is Rs. 10,000 per month. Also, everyone got the internship in this college itself as one has to do the internship here only and the stipend was Rs. 10,000, which is very useful and I love it a lot.

Greatly satisfied. Teachers, facilities and infrastructure are super.

Placements: The placements are all superb. 80-90% students got placed. We basically have an internship of 1 year, and monthly, we get Rs. 10,000 which is great here. We can be assistants, and side by side can go for PG preparation. After PG, we need to practice and open up a clinic.

My college Kalinga institute of dental sciences.

Placements: The students can get job opportunities in this college and as well as in any government colleges and government hospitals. In an internship, they were paid Rs. 10,000 as a stipend. For the BDS staff, they pay Rs. 30,000 to 45,000 per month. For MDS staff the joining salary is Rs. 60,000 per month and it goes up to Rs. 1,50,000 per month.

A mixed bag of feelings but a complete learning experience.

Placements: Placements cannot be commented on because as doctors, you don't have a placement. You have to carve a niche of your own in the world through hard work and perseverance. If talking in terms of postgraduate selections in the all India exam, our seniors did an okay job.

The college provides good education and fun.

Placements: Every year all the students either go to private clinics or open their own clinics. Some get placed for MS courses, and some go abroad for higher studies. Others also get placed in dental colleges. Students can open a private clinic and do the practice, and they can also get placed in private clinics of well-reputed doctors for experience purpose.
