Review of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.
Placements: 95% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course is 3 Lacs to 6 Lacs and the lowest package offered in my course is 50000 to 1.5 Lacs. Top recruiting companies for my course are Cipla, Biocon, etc. 55% of students got internships from my course in Cipla company.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our college are Wi-Fi, lab, classroom, library, etc. The quality of food is the best but the medical facility is average because they don't have that much equipment and they have the sports facility and game facility, which is the best part of our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and more knowledgeable, and the teaching quality of the teaching is the best because they teach in a way the student can more easily understand the topic. Yes, this course is curriculum relevant and it makes the students industry-ready easily. The semester exams are not much difficult when you study.

Dreams bring back memories.
Placements: The university provided campus placement in the third semester. Nestled, Zifo, Virchow Biotech, Enzene, and many other good companies visit campus. Most of my batchmates are currently working in biotech companies with good salaries; the highest salary is 4,80,000 and the average is 2,50,000 a year. Although college tried to pay equal attention to research and jobs, it is more inclined towards research, so for those who want to pursue a Ph.D., it is the perfect institute. You have the option of doing an internship in molecular biology or recombinant DNA technology.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and campus are the best; classrooms are hi-tech with the latest technologies. Wi-Fi and laptop internet access are available in every department. Labs are well maintained with all equipment, chemical and highly talented lab professors to perform practicals. The college library is a small place that is less for study but we can take books to the hostel. In events, college crowd management is the worst; they do not manage students properly. Hostel rooms are furnished with beds and racks; we have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options; hostel charges are 28,000 and mess charges are 23,000. No, we do not get any medical insurance.
Faculty: KIIT is among the top institutes, and the faculty is quite supportive. They held guest sessions with the alumni to learn about career choices, whether they went for jobs or higher studies. There are 62 students in my batch and 15 faculty members, most of whom are Ph.D.s (one who takes lab sessions). The process of teaching us fully digital PPT-based. The course has many lab practicals, and the theory is balanced and industry-related. Per semester, we have 2 CT exams, 1 midterm exam, and 1 term-end exam. In between, we have class tests and continuous assessment. Good preparation will easily clear you for any exam.
Other: To be eligible for admission, we need to have 12th grade science with at least 65% and graduation biotechnology with 55%.

They are quite special and perfect teachers.
Placements: In this college, 80-90% of students get placements and have also gotten good jobs, especially those who scored 90% marks. Getting good placement is also facilitated by internship results. The salary range varies, with higher packages at 12 LPA and lower ones at 3 LPA, based on their marks.
Infrastructure: The comparison to other colleges is favorable because every aspect of sports is well-maintained. Regular testing of our abilities is also commendable. We are well-treated and always provided with practical knowledge. The use of projectors to understand subject topics is also appreciated.
Faculty: About the faculty, it's quite special compared to other colleges. In this college, teachers are friendly and treat students well. This affects the students' minds and behavior positively, making it easier to grasp the lessons. Our teachers help us understand using clever methods.

Overview for the M.Sc. In Biotechnology from the KIIT School of Biotechnology.
Placements: Placement opportunities are provided to students, and around 40–50% of students get placed in this course. The average salary package offered in the course is between 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters at the college include BioLimcentre, Medicare, and others.
Infrastructure: KIIT has good infrastructure. The college provides quality facilities for the students, including labs for experiential learning, WiFi, a canteen, and a library. Hostel facilities are available, and the food in the mess is good and hygienic.
Faculty: The faculty at this college were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Many placement and internship opportunities are available.
Placements: In the 2023 summer placement, 75% of students got placed, 5% secured government jobs, 10% got internships, and some are still unemployed. In the summer and winter internship programs, everyone secured an internship with a good stipend amount. TCG Lifesciences provided the top internship. The salary package is 3 to 6 lakhs per year after the probation period.
Infrastructure: Believe in Me College campus and facilities are the best; they provide ample opportunities to explore yourself. The college provides a gym, swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, and we have a big cricket ground. The main thing is our labs; teachers are highly experienced and specialists. Yes, we have our own hostel facility; washrooms are attached with water and electricity availability, but fee collection has a strict deadline.
Faculty: Teachers are very talented; some have their businesses in the Pharma sector. They have ideas about the industry and opportunities in microbiology. Our course is a post-graduation course with a 2-year duration comprising 4 semesters. The course is practical-oriented; more emphasis is given to practicals, but theoretical exams are important for scoring. Passing requires a minimum of 40 percent marks.
Other: Annual fests and functions are fewer in number, only once a year. No industrial visits are arranged by the college.

This college provides good teachers and infrastructure.
Placements: 1) Placement is quite good but main problems is that India has very few companies related to this field. Rather than placement, there is huge opportunity to do Ph.D. 2) Yes, my college does provide internships and several workshops every year in several courses like bioprocess engineering, downstream processing, and bioinformatics. Some of our faculty members taking students via INSA.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, labs, classrooms, libraries, facilities, connectivity, interactive people, canteens, etc. are available. Negative: lack of open air and greenery; ground water isn't good. College has many extracurricular activities, some of which are like dance, drama, singing, art, photography, etc., and many sports, some of which are like Indian cricket. Football, basketball, badminton, tennis, etc. are there. We also have NSS department and various societies.
Faculty: Faculty members are very frank, encouraging and helping in nature. They put much effort into teaching us about the course and career development. They are very qualified in this field and have updated knowledge about the course. 1) Courses have many futures in industry (pharma, textiles, food, beverages, etc.), R&D, the corporate sector and several fields of biology and biological science. 2) The entrance exam will be online. And you have to give exams on PCMB. 3) labs are very chilled, and everybody did their own work according to protocol given by faculty.
