Everything is good. If you want to take admission then I would suggest go for B.Tech or MBA.
Placements: There were no recruiters visiting campus, especially for BCA. They were for B.Tech. but the placement cell allowed students to sit. Some of the students got placed in MNCs like Deloitte and Nokia. But the number of girls were higher than the boys. The highest package offered was 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was nice faculty members were supportive. Professors were teaching well; you will be provided with a mentor who will help you emotionally and mentally. The hostel is nice, but the food was pathetic as always. No one likes mess food. But by seeing the fee of the hostel and mess, they can provide good quality food. Wi-Fi was good for entertainment purposes; it is magnificent.
Faculty: Teachers were nice. They Help you in every way. They were good in their subject. As one of my teacher mentioned that Faculty don? T select teachers from anywhere as they should be graduated from Top NIT or IIT. Semester exam was moderate. If you study well you can do well in the exam.
Other: I chose BCA because I am fond of computer science from my school time. But you can do BCA from a normal college; there is no need to go to such a high-level college. But if you want to enjoy your college life, then I will suggest you get admission and create a great memory. Because of their events and fests, its glamorous. You will enjoy it for sure.

Satisfied with the faculty, placements, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Above 90 percent of the students from previous years are placed from MCA in top companies. The highest package offered last year for an MCA student was 15 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, TCS, Deloitte, etc. 100 percent students got internships.
Infrastructure: KIIT University’s infrastructure is top-notch designed to support both academic and extracurricular activities. The campus is spread over a vast area and includes modern classrooms, fully-equipped laboratories, and a vast library with an extensive collection of books, journals, and digital resources. The university also boasts state-of-the-art sports facilities including a gymnasium, sports complexes, and grounds for various sports like cricket, football, and basketball.
Faculty: The faculty for the MCA programme at KIIT University comprises of experienced and highly qualified professors who are experts in their respective fields. Examinations in the MCA programme at KIIT are conducted at the end of each semester, assessing students' understanding and mastery of the subjects taught during that period.

Thriving environment with outstanding infrastructure.
Placements: A minimum number of students are getting placed, while mostly students are still waiting. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA in our batch. The company selection process is becoming increasingly tough day by day, so students from non-IT backgrounds face difficulties in getting placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are better than others, including sports, gyms, gardens, libraries where students can read peacefully, and many more opportunities for a successful career. Wi-Fi facility is also available on campus, providing 15 to 20. Almost all students love the campus.
Faculty: Not all teachers are rude; some teachers are very good and soft-hearted. They are serious about our career. However, I don't think students are perfectly ready for the industry because they don't get enough preparation for what an IT company requires. Therefore, students may not have all the necessary information.
Other: Events and fests always happen on time without compromises. The campus crowd is always high, starting from the evening.

Genuine Review About KIIT
Placements: Companies start visiting for placements after two semesters. Fewer companies come for MCA placements compared to B.Tech. The college promises 50-60 companies for placement, but in reality, only 20-25 companies visit. Accenture is a well-known company that hires the most students. IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, and Capgemini offer high packages, with most students receiving packages higher than ₹4.5 lakhs. The average package is between ₹7-8 lakhs. Placement rates were 94.5% in 2022, but declined to 85.38% in 2023. My role is Associate Software Engineer.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is modern. The weather is unstable, with it being rainy, hot, and cold at times, mostly hot throughout the year. Hindi and English are spoken on campus, but outside the campus, it is difficult to communicate as most locals only speak Oriya. The central library is large, and there are two huge fields for sports: one for cricket and another for football and hockey. There are two types of hostels: AC and non-AC. AC and non-AC hostels offer 2 and 3-bedded rooms, with 3-bedded rooms costing ₹28,000 per semester and 2-bedded rooms costing ₹40,000 per semester. If you prefer not to stay in the hostel, PG options are available nearby. Hostel latrines and bathrooms are not clean, and there are frequent fights between boys in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are graduates from NITs and IITs, but some older teachers lack interest in teaching. Some staff need to be replaced, and the teaching is more theoretical instead of practical. Coding is challenging on green boards; it should be taught with hands-on practice. The MCA course, which focuses on computer science, includes advanced ML, Android, VLSI (elective subjects), and embedded systems (elective subjects). The syllabus is extensive with very little time for preparation, and personal care often suffers. Exams are highly difficult; using online resources like YouTube can be very helpful.
Other: Admission is through the OJEE or KIIT exam, and no reservation benefits are available; all students are treated equally. The Jaganath temple is near the college and is closed during Rath Yatra.

Knowing about KIIT in today's time.
Placements: I am currently in my 1st year in the computer branch, aspiring to have a good placement at the end of my course. This year, most of the students in the computer science branch were placed in decent positions in the following companies: Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Technook, and many more. The highest package from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology College was INR 62 lacs.
Infrastructure: There are labs for every single subject that should have one, and there are a variety of campuses available at KIIT that specialize in each subject. There are a variety of hostels at KIIT. It has the option to choose AC or non-AC, 2 or 3 seats, or sometimes even a single seat. There are also options for premium or non-premium hostels, i.e., an attached washroom in premium. In Kiit, we have free Wi-Fi that has 5G speed. The canteen facilities are a little bit lackluster, though.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, have a lot of knowledge, and are very well qualified. Teaching facilities are also very good; every classroom has a smart board and whiteboard so as to assist teachers in smart teaching. Mid-semester exams are a little tad easy so as to help students get marks in the internals, and the end-semester exams are a little challenging so as to test students' knowledge.
Other: I have a very keen interest in the computer science field. Computer science is a growing field. The AI revolution is coming sooner or later, so everything is going to be computerised in the near future. The course should be a little more expanded upon by giving students more knowledge in the field so that they can have deeper knowledge.

Third class college for MCA with a third class department of computer applications.
Placements: The college has very bad placements. The placements at KIIT are so third class which you can never get in any other college. It is such a bad college in terms of placements being zero. Please don't come to this college, I shall not recommend it to anyone.
Infrastructure: The course is good but the faculty members are not good in my perspective. They must teach more in depth. The food in the hostel is extremely bad. I recommended you take a PG nearby rather than live in the college hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members at KIIT are very helpful is what I thought when I came here, but that is not the case. The curriculum is very vast and you will not get enough time to study. The classes will continue from morning till evening which is the reality or KIIT. You have to appear for the exams in every 4 months, there is no 6 months semester.
Other: I totally chose this course and this college because of the placements but this college is not worth it.
