Placements: The math department has good placements compared to other courses, and the curriculum allows us to master our math skills. These skills are essential for dealing with the computing jobs that are in high demand today. Companies like IBM came to recruit students.
Placements: Around 20% of students are placed in my course. I don't have other information like companies; many small companies approve students and then refer them to other companies. Almost 70-85% of students get paid internships or non-paid internships in NGOs, and many more on a contract basis as well.
Placements: Placement in our college, you can expect a 5 to 6 LPA CTC package, approximately 42k per month. This is applicable for specific courses like B.Com Honours, B.A. Eco Honours, and Statistics Honours. Otherwise, you have to opt for some other specific courses, and around 50 to 60 percent of students get placed every year.
Placements: Although the placement is really good for the college but it is generally for arts based subjects, in Science we do get internships but there are no placements offered. The internships however offered are really useful and help us to understand our subjects even more deeply.
Placements: Around 15 students were placed in Computer Science. I don’t remember the companies' names right now, but one was McKinsey. One of my friends got a 9.5 LPA package. Almost every student who was interested in an internship easily got a good one.
Placements: My name is Pankaj Meena, and my course is BSc. Chemistry Honors 3rd year. I am passing out in the 2024 batch. My batch very few students take placement in my course.in Kirori Mal College, the highest package is 3-4 lakh and the lowest package is 50000 so it is not good for students. My multinational companies come for placement in my college, such as TCS and many others. In my course, only 20 to 30 percent of students got internships and took placements at TCS and other companies .
Placements: Kirorimal college is one of the prestigious college of Delhi University. The course I am pursuing right now have currently more than more than 40%. The highest package received by an individual was around 12-16 LPA. The lowest offered was just around 4-5 LPA. The Lupin corporation and the Wipro.
Placements: As our college offers only Bsc.,, not BTech. So the chances of placement are low as compared to BTech colleges, but many companies come for recruitment. Coming on internships, then these are of 2 types: paid and unpaid, so there are many unpaid internships offered but a low chance of paid internships there.
Placements: The placement cell at KMC is just okay. You can get placed, but the salary may not be enough to live comfortably in the city, plus the workload is quite high. If you want to stay on campus after college, then you can opt for it, but if you're planning to prepare for further studies, you might want to reconsider going for placements.
Placements: As it is a college of north campus, obviously various companies approach here much more than south campus. But in courses like Zoology and Botany, placement rates are very low, not only in Kirorimal but even in Hindu and Hansraj too. But you can go for research, and various companies related to research on organisms hire us on internships. Average placement package is approx. 6-7 lakh per annum.
Placements: I am currently a first year’s student. I know that we have a placements cell in the college but for Science streams having PCB background, getting a placement right after bachelors is very tough. Also, the placement packages offered are very less being around 2-3 LPA which too are offered to one or two students from a batch of 65 students. The placements opportunities after a B.Sc. degree in our college are very less. Top role offered in our branch is that of a zoologist.
Placements: Around 40% of students got placements in my course. The highest package was around 30 lakhs, the average was around 15-20 lakhs, and the lowest was 8-10 lakhs per year, and many famous companies came and hired students by their skills. And the top posts you got from my course are assistant and professor.
Placements: In my course, only 10 students were placed. The highest package for a Chemistry student is 7 LPA, while the lowest package is \2 LPA. Companies like Yahoo, TCS, and Capgemini visited, but out of 150 students, only 10 secured placements. Overall, the placement rate is not very high, and only a few students can find jobs in companies.
Placements: The top recruiting companies in Kirori Mal College are ICICI Bank, Zomato, Deloitte USI, Cent, Urban Company, Gandhi Fellowship, Mother Dairy, ZS Associate, Young India Fellowship, Tresvista, etc. The average salary for the year 2023 was around 7.24 Lacs.
Placements: As our college is not affiliated with B.Tech studies, it has fewer job placement opportunities. However, with the introduction of a placement cell, there are now more opportunities for those from the Science background to participate in placement meetings for future needs.
Placements: We have a placement cell named Avenues, which helps students to get internships and placements. Talking about the on-campus placement, I am not very much aware of that. But whatever I know from my seniors is that the placement is not very good in this college.
Placements: Honestly, there are no placements in my course. Only one of my classmates got placed at Godrej, that too from another source. However, there is a Placement Cell in our college, and you can enroll yourself in that. The average placement would be 8L-10L per annum. In Botany, you have to either go for a Master's, and if you want to have a placement, you have to switch fields. You should focus on some internships from your second year to build your CV.
Placements: It has a dedicated placements cell named Avenues. Major recruiters are Wipro, McKinsey, Google and ICICI bank. The highest package offered is 41 lacs per annum and average package is 6.35 Lacs per annum. For post graduate students, the average package is 6.2 lakhs per annum.
Placements: 60 percent of the students get placed. My batch has nearly 140 students. Companies that visited our college are Deloitte, Google and many others. The highest package offered is 12 lacs per annum and the average package was 3 lacs per annum. Roles offered were in management as well as research.
Placements: Chemists and scientists, professors, etc., mostly occupy roles offered by my course. There are internships available from time to time, and placements can be good as Chemistry is a highly demanded field in science. One can pursue M.Sc., Ph.D., B.Ed., or anything else after completing this course.
