KL university - Beautiful on the outside but rotten inside.

Placements: The placement department is just a scam. Because their so-called CRT classes are actually outsourced to 3rd party companies like 6 phase, etc. If you have 1 backlog, you are not eligible, if you have less than a 6.75 CGPA, you are removed. Next, if you are having less than 75 per cent in 10th and 12th, you are removed. My friend who has no backlog and an 8.5 CGPA and is an excellent student, was removed because he has 65 per cent in 10th. They didn't tell me any of these details during admission...

Not a good college for career development. Discrimination and Politics in college.

Placements: In campus placement, No students were placed as Electrical Engineers but few students were placed in software engineering field, rest were unplaced. Most number of students got placed off-campus that too in software engineering related to IT field and rest went for Masters. There were no top recruiting companies for our course. Most students were asked placement fees of 20k to get placed in core field, but somehow they were pushed to different branches like in programming and Software developmen...

Review of KL College of Engineering, KL University.

Placements: In our college, the placements are a very partial method of recruitment. The system is very intangible from what you expect the process to be. Its contacts with the company, but the low standard contracts. The companies try to impartially recruit, but universities would never allow it.

Do not waste your engineering career in this college.

Placements: Only IT companies visit the campus to offer placements with the packages of 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Students of every branch should try only for IT companies regardless of their branch. Around 1-5 students get placed with a package of 5 LPA or 6 LPA, but the average package offered is 3 LPA or even below. Some other companies also visit our college offering the packages as low as 1.8 LPA.

KLU is the worst college.

Placements: The college doesn't provide core jobs, and not even one company visited for the placements of the civil branch. They only made us read the books and write the things we mugged up in exams. They don't provide concept learning. The college is not capable of inviting core companies for placements.

In our college, we have 100% placement opportunities.

Placements: We have a CRT (campus recruitment test), and if we qualify it, we are offered to join in CRT (campus recruitment training). All the students who joined in CRT got placed. The highest package is 6 LPA. The lowest package is 1.8 LPA. Companies like Wipro offered good jobs for all the branch students.

Dissatisfied with placements and faculty but good college environment and I got good friends.

Placements: Good number of companies will come for recruiting only CSE and ECE students and management is not interested in taking up core companies for other branches. Overall 35-40% of people were only placed in software and other core companies and remaining students who were registered for placements are placed in BPO's.

Surviving on previous glory. Commercial and soul lacking education.

Placements: The placements in KLU used to be good earlier when it was KLCE. After the university status is granted, the standards went down the drain. The university has only one aim, to collect more fees and thereby make more profits. They only focus on placements to show-off as accomplishments to the next batches. They advertise as 100% placements, but in reality, they are around 15-25%.

There are many good colleges than klu.

Placements: They just take money and play with you by saying we have 100% placements but they won't bring good companies. And finally they blame students. In the first slot only three or four good companies but in the second slot most of the companies are BPO'S. THIS PLACEMENT CONCEPT IN KLU IS JUST A ***. And they take 12,500 money for placement registrations but they won't provide us good aptitude skills and technical skills.

Please don't ruin your college life by joining this college.

Placements: Good companies take 1 or 2 persons. Not more than that. Because they don't allow us to participate in placements unless we have CGPA of 9 etc. They show partiality among students. None of the core companies visit here. Just IT companies with compromised packages. Good software companies visit here very rarely like 1 or 2 in a year. And they recruit 1 or 2 people.

Utterly disappointed after joining this University.

Placements: There is no need to talk about placement, because if your root work is weak and hollow then it is of no use. Standard of education is highly disappointing. Don't try here. Many companies are approaching here but what you can do if you don't have basics also. Teaching standard is really low.

I have satisfied with the college faculty.

Placements: Don't know about the placements of our college. I think there will be no placements even for the students who are most eligible. There are only jobs like call taking with the salary of just Rs.20,000, which is very less. I think its one of the biggest problem.

The college should provide good placements.

Placements: Only BPO companies visit our college and hire many students, and there is fake publicity that the college provides 100% placements in this state. Outside this state, there is no publicity for placements.

This is the college, where you should not study.

Placements: They will say that we will give you jobs in core companies, but they will teach us software courses and show jobs in software companies. We have to pay money for getting a job in the placements, we have to pay nearly Rs. 12,000, which is separate from the semester fee.

It is a waste of money to join this college.

Placements: I got placed in a very normal company. As a part of the placements, this college is not worth the collection of such huge fee. I suggest not to opt for this college. My friends who studied for free have also joined the same company as me.

A place to get exposed to the real world.

Placements: Well, we have the good opportunities for the campus placement and good training for the attending interview, and 100's of companies come for the campus recruitment. All the student's get the good package, some of the companies make MoU with the college.

Don't get fooled & waste your life.

Placements: Placements are just average of this college. Whatever might be the course, you will eventually get placed in one of the company among Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant & Tech Mahindra. The average salary package is 3.25 lakhs per annum. That's really bad as you get placed in a software company when you joined this college with a hope of getting into your core stream. The worst part is, there's an eligibility criteria to attend the placements, in which, 30-40% of the students aren't even eligible to...

The college is good for only CSE, ECE, and IT branches, but not for core streams.

Placements: 100% placements in the college is a lie. Companies related to civil, mechanical, and electrical haven't visited our college for placements. We have to pay an extra amount for campus recruitment training, and they will send us to some IT companies recruitment drive. If we are not able to crack those interviews, then we will be placed in BPOs. More than 50% of the students got placed in BPOs after paying lacs as the college fee and selecting an odd stream.

They collect huge amounts of money. In return, students don't get any benefit. There is no difference between this college and low grade level colleges, even though we invest a lot of money. Simply, they are running excellent business by creating a brand name themselves. Faculty of this college is worse than ordinary colleges.

The college focuses only on earning money, not on the student's career.

Placements: Placements are offered for those students who cleared their semester exams and scored better points. But there will be limited opportunities. Very fewer companies visit our campus for placements and hire only 2 to 5 students. They will allow other small companies to join, and it's a very bad way.
