Review of Kohinoor College of Hotel and Tourism Management Studies.
Placements: Placements are done in major reputed 5-star hotels in Mumbai. Campus interviews are organized by the college for students. Students are prepared to qualify in the interviews conducted by different groups of hotels.
Infrastructure: Air-conditioned classrooms are there. The library has a good collection of books. Practicals are conducted in a well-equipped kitchen. Food is prepared by second-year batch students. Canteen is also good. Sports and games are organized by students and encouraged.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was good. The course curriculum is relevant to students who want to join hospitality fields. Exams were quite good; the passing percentage was 100%. Students participate in every exam.
Other: I'm passionate and fond of cooking. The best thing about my course is it improves my skills. Courses are better. Events are organized by all students.

Faculty members were the best, and our principal, chef Kaviraj trains us a lot for placements.
Placements: Placements were done at a very good pace. Students of our senior batch were placed according to their preferred specialisation. Even the junior batches also got their internships. The lowest salary package offered was 1.3 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Companies like The Lalit, The Oberoi Group, Taj Hotels and Marriott International, etc., visited our campus for placement drives. The lowest stipend offered was Rs. 1,000 per month and the average stipend offered was Rs. 2,500 per month. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 5,000 per month to Rs. 6,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were well-furnished. Sports, games and all the activities are conducted. A separate sports day is also celebrated. The college provides library facility. The quality of the food served in the canteen was average. Hostel rooms are expensive here. There were no issues regarding the infrastructure. Our college provides a centralised air-conditioning facility.
Faculty: All the faculty members here were well-experienced and had industry experience. Teaching quality was up to mark and well-updated. Faculty members provide us with practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge. PPTs, practical and theoretical methods were used to teach here. Overall, the course and faculty members were at their best.
Other: We organised the theme lunch event which was part of our curriculum. The campus crowd was around 200 to 300 members per batch. The surroundings of the campus were also great. We face a problem with connectivity from the railway station.
