It was completely an interactive and experiential course. Since, it was a vocational course it gave me the opportunity to study in 5 different fields, they are - Resource Management, Child Development, Communication, Nutrition and Apparel Science. Working practically with all these subjects helped me gained my area of interest for further studies. This College is best if one wants to go in any of the above fields.

I really loved my college. It is a heritage property which looks amazingly awesome. The Faculty there was very sincere and friendly and always encourage us to perform well. This college not only works for studies or a Degree but it helped me in my all round development. Here you can study wide variety of subjects from Nutrition to Human Right and Family Empowerment. In my BSc, I studied various subjects which helped me in becoming jack of all. When any of our lecture got cancelled due to some o...

I am absolutely satisfied with my college as it has a good faculty and good infrastructure.

Placements: students with 85 percent and above were placed from here. The lowest package offered is 5 LPA annually. The average package is 12 LPA and the highest package is 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies are VLCC, Nestle, etc. Students need to research on their own for internships in their graduation period. Healthcare professionals, food scientists, food analysts, chefs, lecturers, child care, and fashion designer are some of the top roles offered in our course.

It is the best college if you going for wholesome knowledge.

Placements: There was no placement cell in our college. But some teachers help us finding internships. There is no recruitment in our hostel.

Our college has good faculty members, average crowd and infrastructure and an average curriculum.

Placements: Placements are not provided by our college, and internships are also not provided. If you have no idea of what you really want to pursue after doing this course and feel pretty helpless since you wasted your 3 years pursuing home science, then after that, building a career is extremely difficult.

Great opportunities, great faculty, rest is about your interest!

Placements: There are no placements done as such for masters students but yes teachers do tell us about various companies and institutes where we can apply. If they get to know about opportunities, they do let us know! Minimum salary is around 15k and rest is all upto you!

The college is amazing in all the aspects except for placements.

Placements: There is no placement wing. After completion of the course, students have to look for a job on their own. The package varies from as low as 10 k to 40 k. Mostly, a masters degree is required before getting into any job.

Facilities and faculty members are good here, but I am dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college, but it is not useful at least for undergraduate students. Even I have not heard any student getting placed anywhere through our college. None of the reputed companies visits here to provide placements to undergraduate students.

I loved my 2 years of journey in the college.

Placements: College have called many esteemed schools for placement. 60% of students got placed from our college with 3 Lacs- 5 Lacs package. But only 2-3 students joined because the schools were mostly from Noida. Also for internship, we were sent to Delhi's most reputed schools.

Campus life is amazing and memorable.

Placements: Around 60-70% of the students got placed in this course. Highest and lowest salary packages offered are according to students calibre, and the average salary package offered is 3-5 LPA. At our time, only 70% of the students did an internship and got from on-campus. The top role offered in our course was in the food department.

Lady Irwin College is the best place to explore yourself and to grow.

Placements: 20 students are there in my batch and after 1st we would be equally divided into two fields according to our specialisation. Mostly students prefer to pursue Ph.D. as students can do it from our college only. Mainly from our course students are placed as researchers and designers, many of them go for government jobs.

Good infrastructure with great faculty

Placements: After Bachelor's majority prefers doing higher studies. As such there are no campus placements offered but students find internships and jobs themselves. So majorly students enroll in the Master's program in the same college or other colleges and institutes.
