Best college for home science in Delhi.

Placements: There are plenty of internship opportunities available to students during and after graduation. Some of the areas where students can intern include nutrition, fashion, textiles, child care, and event management. Although there is no official placement cycle, students can approach their professors for references.

The faculty is too good, but our college doesn't provide placement for the students.

Placements: If a student gets 85%, they can think of getting admission to our college. Teachers are supportive, but the problem with our college is that they do not offer any placement to the student after completion of the course due to the absence of a placement society.

Overall our college has very good faculty and management.

Placements: 20-25% of students were placed in our course. There were not very high placement opportunities given to the students. The average package offered in our course was 2-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our college were Group, Miraj, Skyhigh, etc. In our college, no students get internships at this college.

I am not satisfied with faculty members and courses.

Placements: Around 60-90% of students got placed in our course. Companies won't visit our college to recruit students.

A hidden gem having best ecosystem ?

Placements: I went to Lady Irwin College in 2021 and had a good experience. College doesn't have lot of job placements especially for bsc home science pass course. But yes it do helps you in networking and making new connections if you join any of the societies.

Absolutely satisfied with campus, college vibe, festivals, culture, and best faculty.

Placements: It has a good placement cell. The cell is operated by us. Different seminars take place. Overall, good placement cells. Professors also recommend different internship companies. But you cannot completely rely on the college for your job. You have to work hard to find the job.

Review of Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi.

Placements: The salary package offered may change as per the requirement and the qualification. Students must have good skills to get placed in our college. Top recruiting companies are Mother Dairy, Amul, FSSAI Institute, NABARD, etc. Many students going to pursue a master's degree in this course as it provides more opportunities. A few students got placed in our college at government institutions or corporate companies. A few students got internships.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: Our college provided very good placements with well-defined salary packages. There was no placement cell, but our college had many collaborations with many government health offices and hospitals. It was a very good opportunity for all students of all streams.

Moderately fine but facilities are very less.

Placements: College placements are not very good. I don't have any placement experience, but I know from my seniors that during the pandemic, they didn't provide any placements, but now they hope to familiarise them with some industries.

Really good faculty along with nice campus .

Placements: As I am in 2nd year now but I haven't received good reviews from my seniors about placements, as due to pandemic there were no placements but on offline mode placements could be given by the college. But placement area is still a doubted issue for us because no one will give real answer of this even.

Lady Irwin college review .

Placements: There is no placement cell. So after the completion of the course the student has to seek placement on their own. The package varies from as low as 10k to as high as 40k. Mostly a master's degree is required before getting a job. Without a Master degree it gets difficult to find a job and it is not even recommendable.

Good infrastructure and facilities, helpful faculty, dissatisfied with placement after bachelor's.

Placements: Lady Irwin College does not offer placements for B.Sc. (Hons) Home Science course. Placements are also not available for the other 2 bachelor's courses which are B.Sc. Pass home Science and B.Sc. Food Technology. However, placements are probably given in M.Sc.

Best years of my life at Lady Irwin College.

Placements: Placements were good but many students pursued higher studies before going to placements. Faculty members also recommended students who have magnificent academic and extracurricular participation. Our senior got placed in various good companies such as Sarthak Educational Trust, Sigma Research & Consulting Pvt. Ltd., and APJ-SLG Law Offices.

The campus life is good, with good infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: Students have to secure 45-50% marks in their 12th class with the Science stream to get admission in this course. There are no placements in this course as it is only at the graduation level, although one can get placements after doing a master's. Internships are not provided by college instead students find out by themselves.

It is the best college, with all the exposure one needs.

Placements: The college does not provide any placements. The students have to find one internship or job on their own in any of the 5 departments related to the course, and the concerned teacher will only give a consideration letter on behalf of the college. In most cases, one gets a good job after completing Master's only.

The campus is good, and I am satisfied with the course and teachers.

Placements: Students need to secure 45-55% in their graduation or post-graduation to be eligible for this course. The average salary package offered ranges from 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. Many reputed schools like Cambridge, DAV Public School came for the placements drive. Every student has to go through internships despite their percentage. Mainly teacher's roles are offered in our course.
