LBSIM - a career path for management students.

Faculty: The teachers at our college are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of them have many years of significant industry experience, which helps students gain a wider perspective and excel in their particular domains. The course curriculum is comprehensive and covers most concepts in every area. The semester exams are moderately difficult, designed to assess whether students are grasping what they’re being taught and can apply this knowledge to the industry through case-based questions, ...

I am satisfied and happy with my college.

Faculty: I chose this college because of the faculty members, all of whom are Ph.D. holders. Our schedule is very hectic; we are not off in Sunday classes until the evening. Some trimesters are so small that it is hard to cover the entire syllabus. Faculty members have not taught all concepts from scratch; they expect that we know some concepts. Exam evaluation is done like 60% is for internal and 40% is for external weightage in order to clear the semester; at least 35% marks are mandatory.

Best college providing freedom, toughness and strength.

Faculty: The students to faculty ratio is quite good. All the faculty members are Ph.D. holders and mostly have corporate experience. All the teachers have unique teaching methods and case study method is the best. Evaluation is done through 60% weightage to internals and 40% to term end exams. 50% marks are required in both to clear the exams. The exams are conducted timely, they are not easy or difficult to pass. You only need good understanding of the subjects.

Good Placements and good faculty members with state of the art classrooms!

Faculty: Faculty members are mostly good. You can reach out to them if you have any issues whether related to studies or even your personal problems. Teaching quality is good and student-faculty ratio is 35:1. Course curriculum is relevant to prepare students for corporate life. Semester exams are difficult in this institute and it takes good effort to sail them through. Pass percentage is 50%.

Review of LBSIM - Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified and strict. They help you in clearing your doubts. Some teachers just briefly explain the whole topic without going to the in-depth explanation. Exams are quite difficult, but most of the batch students get qualified.

It has highly qualified teachers.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good. Some teachers are very helpful, like Shuvro sir. MCA is affiliated with the IPU course. It is an old course, but they are just following the IPU course curriculum. Overall, faculty members are highly qualified.

It has a really good infrastructure. Management of events like Tatva and many others is really good.

Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and have deep knowledge of their respective subjects. In this 2 years course, you will have 6 trimesters. The 1st year will be general, while the 2nd year will be your specialisation. Trimesters are moderately designed, and if any student pays good attention in the lectures, they can score well in exams. About 60% of marks are allotted to your midterm exams, attendance and others, whereas 40% of marks are for your end term examinations.

It is a great institute for the overall development of students.

It offers only the industry-relevant curriculum, and this helps students in getting placed. This institution has a trimester scheme, and the programme includes 6 trimesters.

Satisfied with the faculty, but infrastructure can be improved.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and are cooperative with the students. There are industrial visits which help the students to gain more knowledge. Teachers are available after the class and you can take guidance from them whenever you feel like.

Placements were good in 2019, and the placement team members did an excellent job.

Faculty: Teachers here were helpful and qualified. Sessions conducted are very interesting, but there some areas need to be improved like there should be more practical learning instead of theoretical learning. The course curriculum was great, helpful and relevant to excel in the industry.
