The facilities in our college were good, and I was satisfied.

Placements: I am a student of the E4 batch, and my aggregate is 45%. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 20 thousand per month. After completion of exams, the students who are interested in doing a job should fill a form, and then if you are selected, the companies will call you to work with them.

Best faculty, but low infrastructure.

Placements: Placement provided by TPA of Saboo Siddik College is very Co-operative. Assist after passing out till 2 years. Around 20% are placed till result announcement. Rest 50% gets placement within a year. My batch only 50% were placed via TPA. Local companies mostky visited. Salary range to 2 Lacs to 3 Lacs per annum.

For students who only want to study and nothing else.

Placements: The placements are not good with regards to market conditions as only a few companies offer packages to the students. Very few percentage of students were placed. An average package of about 34K was offered to top students whereas many of them remained unplaced. The reputed recruiters was TCS. Only a few faculty emphasises of internships and personality development hence very few opportunities for internships via college.

The college is great with the faculty qualification, and it is just a place to study four years.

Placements: The placement of the college is constantly going down since the last 5-6 years. None of the company is coming for the placement in the plant whereas a few companies are coming for the sales-related job as sales or service advisory. They offer a salary of around 15-19K per month for sales, whereas 8-10K for service.

The average engineering college with the good placements only for IT/CS streams.

Placements: In my college, the placements were fairly good only for IT and computer science batch. Around, 40% of the students got placed in 2016, which were good as compared to the previous batches. The highest package offered was of 3.75 LPA by Rave technologies. The average package is 3 LPA in my batch. Mostly, the roles offered are the software development profiles. TCS has been the major recruiter by hiring 88 candidates from batch 2016 from all the seven streams. Regarding the internships, there is ze...

It is not a modern college. Satisfactory faculty and good placement chances.

Placements: The placement is average, and overall, most of the top students get a chance to sit in the placements. The chances are high that they can get selected. The average salary package offered is Rs. 3.5 lakhs and TCS is the main backbone of the placements in the college. Out of 50 students, only 10 percent of them got the placement from the campus. The college has a TPO cell of its own.

Bad placement, dissatisfied with the faculty approach and worried about the fee hike every year.

Placements: The placement rate has been declined at a faster rate. Earlier, top companies like only TCS used to visit on-campus and take a good number of students, but now, TCS has also stopped coming on-campus. So, campus recruitment is a very critical issue now which management should look upon otherwise its too late. In my branch of electronic engineering only, 7-8 students were paced by the college. All other was unplaced and left aside. The roles offered are mostly software related, so students from el...

Placements are not good and poor support for the extra curricular activities.

Placements: During my batch of 2016, we were lucky to get TCS as day one company because of which many students got placed. I still remember there were 130 students got selected who were eligible for the interview and after giving the aptitude test, 109 got selected for the further round and in the end after the complete process total 98 students were selected and the package offered was around 3.25 lakhs per annum. But right now the companies are taking placement pool campus which makes difficult for the s...

Satisfactory teaching faculty, but disappointed with infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are good, companies like Mahindra and Infosys recruit the students. The highest salary offered to the students was 16 LPA and the average salary offered was 4.4 LPA. About 50% to 60% of students get the internship from college. The percentage of students placed in the year 2016 was 40%.

A good college with average infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The tpo staff is doing exceptional work for the placements of students but the placements are not upto the mark. Some more efforts are required to call companies to the college. The placements last year were above 50%. The highest package was 4.8 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. Companies including tcs, teradata, jio have visited the campus. Students are offered roles like student trainee, software trainee, tester, etc.

The review of M. H. Saboo Siddiq College of Engineering.

Placements: The placements are just average. You might not find too many opportunities here(just a few prominent companies like TCS or Mahindra). A good engineering degree will surely help you to get your dream job as there are many opportunities to utilise such as coding competitions, technical events etc.

A good infrastructure and teaching with good placement chances.

Placements: The placements were good in number. Deserving students were offered up to Rs. 30,000/month. The companies that come for placements are TCS, Mahindra and Mahindra, etc. Good posts were offered to fresher students. The placements for ExTC, IT and mechanical were huge in number.

Bad placement. Great infrastructure. Good faculty.

Placements: The placements of the last batch were very poor. Very few very selected students from the computer department (between 10-15). The rule is, if you sit for a company and get selected, you can no longer sit for other companies. This rule was added so that "smart students" do not sit for every company, get the invitation letter, and reject the company later, and the average student never gets a job. TCS and Direct I visited the campus. The average salary offered was 3 LPA. The college has started p...

Average college if you want to be an engineer. Otherwise, you will have to work hard on your own.

Placements: In recent years, Saboo Siddik College of Engineering is getting bad grades. So, in accordance, the companies coming to our campus are also decreasing. From our batch, only 15 to 25% of the students were placed. The majority of them were placed in TCS pool campus and remaining in Teradata and some smaller companies. The highest package was 3.5 LPA by the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and the lowest was 1.44 LPA. The average is 2.8 LPA. The role offered to most of them was software engineer. Ab...

A college with experienced professors but below average placements

Placements: No data available but it is not up to the mark. People are unplaced in a large number. IT and computer graduates pass out in large numbers with multiple mass recruiters picking students in the 100s. Core streams had poor placentment records, leading to students going out for placements.

Please read my review before going to take admission in M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering

Placements: Placements of M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Byculla, Mumbai are not good. In my batch, there was a total of 78 students and out of 78, only 4 students got placed in campus placements. I would say placements of the computer department from Saboo Siddik are the worst this time maybe because the placement department is not very active and they don't have anything to do with students. I will give 2 stars out of 10 for placements.

True review of the computer department.

Placements: Saboo Sidik is not very good for placements. The previous year, jobs were available for computer related fields but during my year (2017) jobs are very limited. Very few company are hiring students. Out of 70 students in my class, only 20 of they are placed and few of they are going for MS (10-15 students). The highest salary was 4.5 lakh, the average was 3.5 lakh and the lowest was 3 lakh. SoGo survey, Quad, Rave, and more came to the campus. Roles they offered were all computer related like...

The college is not up to the mark as you will expect, the management is very poor.

Placements: The placement team is good and hard working, but due to tie up with TCS being the first company to visit the campus, other big and small companies don't visit our campus. This year, TCS visited our campus late this resulted in a delay in the placement process. The placement ratio compared to previous year i.e. 2016 batch has fallen by more than 10%. The information provided in college brochure or website is false. Even the number of companies visiting the campus has fallen due to lower grade of ...

Average college as the placements of 2017 were disappointing.

Placements: The placement cell is working hard to place their good students. In the year 2016, there were good companies in the campus. Also, almost half of the batch was placed in those companies. This year, there was a fall in the number of students placed to almost 10 percent of the whole batch. But as I said, the training and placement office is working hard to help students of the current year as well as the passed out students who need their help. As compared to the fee amount taken, the placements pr...

Satisfied with the faculty and teaching, dissatisfied with the infrastructure.

Placements: Majority of the batch was placed in TCS. There are other companies that visit the college and some even have a better package. The college policy is that if you are selected for a company you cannot sit for other interviews. This deprives the opportunity to good students who are selected in first company to sit for interviews with a higher package. It is a risk not sitting for the first interview as there isn't a surety which company may or may not visit the college that year. ...
