My college is just not good enough to be called a college I mean our campus is our parking space.

Placements: The college has no structure for internship or job placement, if you wish to do something you have to do it on your own. The staff is even worse & will definitely interrupt anything you are trying to achieve on your own. They usually lag behind on their part i. e the teaching but they do expect you to uphold your side of the bargain & even do a few extra projects.

I had the worst experience in this 4 years of my engineering.

Placements: A student was placed, and the salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month. No companies approached our college for placements. The internship was taken up by students themselves through off-campus. Their prospectus showed 100% placements, but it was not offered to us. Companies which visited here for placement were mostly IT companies.

This college is neither bad nor good.

Placements: This college has no placements. Only 7 to 10 students got the placement. The basic salary they offer is Rs.18,000 to Rs.21,000 per month. Only one to two companies come at placement. There is no internship from college, and the highest stipend is Rs.22,000, and the lowest stipend is Rs.18,000 which is not efficient for me. Bad placement service. The placement cell is not giving 100 % as college name.

Incompetent faculty, decreasing placement every year, no infrastructure and extra facilities.

Placements: The placements were bad for our seniors and worse for our batch. Apparently, no company is interested to come to our college. Only about 50% of the students are placed till now and packages offered are not very attractive, to say the least. Only big name to offer placement in our college is TCS, and it was also a pooled one. All roles are junior/assistant developer or trainee. The lowest salary offer was 1.9 LPA, and the highest is 4.7 LPA. There are no paid internship opportunities in college, ...

Dissatisfied because of the placements.

Placements: I would like to be honest. In our batch of 86 students, only 8-10 students got placed. First of all, the core companies don't come here. The second thing is that the companies which are hiring mechanical engineering students, not expecting them to work in that respective field. So, only the IT jobs or the Insurance companies are coming to the college.

Do not get admission here.

Placements: Every year not more than five students from the mechanical department get the campus placement. So, far only TCS and Mahindra are known companies which visited the campus for the placement. Same in the case of the other branches as I have many friends in the other branches who have the same experience. If you want to get jobs you have to do internships apart from the curriculum and never rely on the college.

Don't go for Saboo Siddik

Placements: The placement is average. Around 40%-50% of students get placed and package around 2.5 lakhs to 3 lakhs. Placements of students start from the final year. If you get placed in one company, then you cannot apply for another company. The placement ratio is falling every year.

Do not go for Saboo Siddik.

Placements: To be honest, placement is not very good at Saboo Siddik College. Only 10 students got placed out of 80 students in my batch. The average salary offered is 2.4 lakh per annum. TCS, Capgemini, and Directi are the companies that visited the campus at Saboo Siddik College of Engineering.

Saboo Siddik College of Engineering is a college where you will become everything but not engineer.

Placements: The placement is average. 50% of the students get placed and the package is around 2.5-3 lakhs. The placements of students start from the final year only. If you get placed in one company, then you cannot apply to any other company. You have only one choice.

Don't go for it. You will regret it.

Placements: The placement of this college is very poor. Around 10% of the students have been placed through TPO in our branch. A similar situation is in other branches too. Only EXTC placement is getting better day by day. The reason behind this is the lack of technical education in the curriculum. Also, lots of efforts are going to improve the TPO process.

A legacy college which now represents a shadow of its former glory.

Placements: Placements at Saboo Siddik are sparse and not up to the mark for the age of the college. MEs(Small and medium sized enterprises) are mostly hiring and in 2016, mass recruiter TCS gave it a miss. The training and placement department is very restrictive in terms of choices offered to students who are eligible for placement, which means if you are eligible for company A, but a better company B is going to come later, TPO will debar you from the placement process if you do not attend the recruitmen...

Do not fall for our college as it is a trap.

Placements: There are some companies that come every year like TCS and some other small companies, but whatever they have written in the brochures is false. The packages provided to us is very less as frankly speaking, I spend more than what they offer. There are local hardware vendors coming to our college for placements as well.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good placements and infrastructure. Not worth it.

Placements: Placements are disappointing. When I came into this college, it was mentioned in the catalog of college that Infosys and Microsoft are coming to this college, but it was all a lie. And mostly the placements are not for average students like me. The TPO co-ordinators are actually very good. But due to our college ratings, no big companies come to our college for placements.

Dissatisfied and disappointed.

Placements: Few placements. Totally different from what was written in the prospectus. There are hardly any internships in our college. Half of the placements mentioned in the prospectus does not come to our college. The competition is tough. Only one student from the whole of B.E. IT got selected for TCS.

The college lacks good teaching staff especially in electronics department and environment is not student friendly. Please think before joining this college. All online reviews may distract you. Please keep this college as your last option. Their broacher saying lots of companies visit their college is fake. The corruption is at highest level.

It’s the only engineering college in south Mumbai. Before taking admission, I had heard a lot of things about this college like placements, facilities etc. Then I joined this college which was biggest ever mistake of my life. So I would urge you to not to join this college and checkout some other good colleges for engineering. This college is more of a scam than an educational institute. You people will be "tortured" and no college life. Save your four years and don't join this college. If you a...

I am dissatisfied with the infrastructure, faculty, and atmosphere.

Placements: Core branches had less scope here, and companies only preferred IT students. The placement officer was not interested in placing students. Civil, mechanical, and automobile engineering students had to suffer a lot.

Best Engineering College in South Bombay.

Placements: Placements are great, with a good chunk of students getting placed in decent companies before the start of even semester of the final year. Great packages offered with the highest of 8 LPA offered. Average package is around 4 LPA. A lot of companies came to college such as TCS, Wipro, LTI, Newgen, Hexaware.

Placements: More than 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was around 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 3.3 LPA. Top recruitment companies included Direct I, TCS and L&T. Roles of software developer and a software engineer were offered.
