Other eligibility criteria
Candidate must have passed 10th grade or S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS, such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), 10th class examination conducted by various State Boards
of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Candidates from NIOS/APOSS/other recognized examinations deemed equivalent to SSC by the A.P. Government must have passed all subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also
appear for POLYCET- 2024.
There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2024.
Candidates must be Indian citizens and residents of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

College is good and good placements were offered.
Placements: In my course, we got an above-80% percentage, the highest package was 5 lacs per year and the lowest package was 2 lacs per year. The top recruiting company for my course is Asian Paints, and we got internships for students with an above-75 percent percentage, and the top role offered in my course is manager.
Infrastructure: In my college, we have labs, workshops, and classrooms, and the infrastructure is good. In my hostel, food is good and the mess and canteen are maintained hygienically. All types of games were conducted like kabaddi, cricket, volleyball, khokho, long jump, running race, etc.
Faculty: In my college, the teaching quality is good and the faculty is highly qualified. The curriculum was well designed and relatively easy to follow. The semester exams are strictly conducted and the pass percentage is above 80%. Teachers were helpful and explained the topics multiple times.
Other: I want to become a loco pilot so I chose this course. Workshops were conducted once a week; I wish they were conducted twice a week. Fests are also conducted in my college and the crowd is good and the connectivity between students and faculty is good.

College life here is great, but it is not good for placements.
Placements: In mechanical, 90% of students can get placed. But for Diploma students, the starting packages are very low compared to other branches. Further studies will help more. It helps us attain government jobs. Only 30 out of 100 students get placed. After gaining some experience, we get more offers from MNCs.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good only for making friendly relations and enjoyment. But the facilities are not good there. Pipes always leak from the tank. We are not provided with beds. Some rooms are very old and dirty. Pigs also come and eat the food left. Every 2-3 years, the college conducts a sports meet. The food quality can be rated 3 out of 10.
Faculty: Our faculty are very good and experienced. They easily solve the questions we ask. The curriculum is prepared only for making students knowledgeable but not to make students ready. But our lecturers make us industry-ready. The pass percentage is 65%. As it is a government college, it has few restrictions. Many students don't come to college and learn anything. If the students have an interest, they can definitely score high.

It is the best institution for education.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the least salary package offered is 3 LPA. The companies which came for recruitment are L&T, Daikin, and Asian Paints. Almost 80-90% of students get placements in this college. The top roles offered in placements are manager superintendent.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are fully available in our department. All machines are available and the engine laboratory is also available. The facilities in the hostel are good, and the facilities in the room are fully provided with fans and lights. The food is also hygienic and healthy to eat.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students, and teachers are fully qualified and experienced. The teaching quality is excellent, and all the students who studied Telugu medium can also understand what they are teaching. The curriculum is interesting, and the training period is provided for 6 months in the industry to gain knowledge about machines. The semester exams are easy to study and write by reading textbooks.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in it. The events and fests are also conducted every year in this college, and the course is excellent.

Best institution I have seen.
Placements: The 80 percent of students were placed in this course. The highest, average and the lowest package offered in our course are of 7 LPA, 3.5 LPA and 2 LPA respectively. The top companies recruiting are of Dr. Reddys labs, Asian Paints. The 50 percent of students got internship from our course and in companies like Asian Paints and Daikin.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course/department are excellent. The classrooms are of fully digital and computers are also provided in the lab and library is provided to read books. The facilities in hostel are also good the food is healthy and hygienic to eat. Play ground is provided to play different types of sports.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable the teaching quality is good. They explain very clearly where you can understand easily. The course curriculum is relevant it makes the students industry ready at last 6 months of final year industrial training is provided where you can gain more practical work which you are going to be doing in company. The semester exams are easy to study and pass by reading half the textbook.
Other: I have chosen this course because of more interest in mechanics and best things are here you can work on difference machineries and learn designing about mechanical production equipment.

Placements: In this college, placements are good. The average salary pacakge offered is 5 LPA from Asian Paints, and also from Daikin, Kia Motors, etc. The students are eligible for placements if they clear all subjects with a minimum of 80%. This course offers thermodynamics refrigeration, air conditioning, etc
Infrastructure: The classes are fully peaceful, because they are away from the roads. It provides all digital boards for a virtual explanation for the students. It provides laboratories for IT classes and playgrounds for playing purposes are available. It provides all workshops for practice.
Faculty: Our teachers are good and they are experienced in teaching. They all have PhDs in different universities. They all are qualified by an exam that has higher standard questions. All students are ready after this course for industry, because they have been given a 6 months training.
