Placements: In the mechanical branch, the placements are average. The average package is around 3.0 lacs per annuagoAs earlier, the highest package was around 12 LPA. Last year, the average package was around 9.5 LPA. Not everyone gets placed, but around 40-50% of the students got placed on the campus.
Placements: There is a T&P cell but is not as serious as in last 2 years because companies have reduced with respect to former years. Since I am in 3rd year, my batch is not eligible to apply for placements, but my 30% of seniors are selected for various positions and are continuing because many companies are coming presently. They are selected for various positions like sub engineer, assistant engineer, but initially, as a trainee. The highest package is 7 LPA (Britannia), the lowest is 3.2 LPA (Accenture)...
Placements: The placements in our college were average, not so good. Only 20% of the students got placed. The highest package offered was 4 lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 2 lacs per annum. Companies visited the campus were Accenture, IBM, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Crompton, etc. The students were referred to do simple coding and some quantitative aptitude. No one was eligible for the internship from college, so no company came for the internship.
Placements: The placements in our college were satisfactory but not up to the mark of our senior batch. Mostly, the companies which are software oriented and which consists of software projects visited our college for the recruitment and the companies that are beneficial for the other branches students with the industrial work and project didn't show their interest towards our college. The highest package was 9 lakhs in one of the IT companies and for most of the people, that company was the mass recruiter ...
Placements: Until two years ago, the placement of the college was very good but now, the college placement graph is reducing day by day. Yet, about 50 percent of the students of the college get placed in CSE and IT departments. Also, some quality students of other departments also get placed in top companies of India and outside.
Placements: Frankly speaking, you can't see core companies coming here. The only hope to get placed is via IT companies such as TCS, Infosys, etc which provide a package of 3-4 lakhs on an average. Only very less number of students make it to the elite group of packages close to 8-9 LPA. The highest package awarded in this institution has been 9.6 LPA by a company called Trident. The lowest packages are the usual ones at about 3-4 lacs. We are still hoping that the situation will become better when we will b...
Placements: Placement structure at MITS is average. You can't too high a package here. The top most packages go to very few candidates. Still, many got placed at low packages too. Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture are companies that come here frequently with a low package offering of 3-4 lakh per annum.
Placements: Placements are good. Many companies come to this college including TCS, Wipro, etc. There is a large number of placements. Last year, two students got 9-10 lacs. We do not have a separate department for training and placement which is a weak point. Overall, placements are neither bad nor too good.
Placements: There are good placement opportunities but most of the students opt for M.Tech after completing their bachelor's degree. My senior batch is very intelligent and aware of what they want to do. The highest package offered was 9 lakhs. Students are encouraged to volunteer in the placement cell so that they get a first-hand experience of the placement procedure.
Placements: My batch was the first batch for this branch so cannot comment on the placement. But in other branches, placements took place. In the electrical department, TCS offered a package of Rs. 9 lakhs to 11 students. Only 5-10% students got an internship from the college.
Placements: December-January are the main months for our placement session. Companies come from mainly consultancy services like Infosys. For IT, the average package is 2.30 lakhs with almost 40% placements. The lowest was 1.50 lakhs and the highest package was 4.30 lakhs. Companies don't come for summer internships in my college, however, some students apply outside the campus with low or unpaid stipends.
It is among the top 5 engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh. The infrastructure is good and it has a lush green campus and a decent library which consist mostly of engineering books. We have a basketball court, badminton court and a football ground as well. Placements are decent but you won’t get a lot of core companies. We had TCS, Infosys and Wipro as regular recruiters in core. Faculty is good as they have published research papers and have done Ph.D in their respective fields. The college h...
College have good and great alumni, likes of VK Saraswat. Bad thing is lack of motivator factors for students. Sports opportunities are negligible. No cultural and techno fest happens on annual basis. There used to be a conflict between hostlers and Day scholar. It has a good campus which includes great fields, gym and bank. Canteen is not up to the mark. Library also follows our cast reservation system. Provides almost all fields of engineering discipline and architecture.
I got a chance to pursue my M.tech (Biotech) from MITS, Gwalior and I was overall satisfied from the level of knowledge with which I am signing off from the college. As project work is an essential part to complete the degree, here are very limited facilities available in the Department of biotechnology for carrying out the research work, I believe one could carry out his/her project if he can afford to carry out the project work from outside or he has the capability to do on its own without exp...
MITS is a renowned college in Gwalior city, but up to a certain level. But the most important thing is that you have to tackle the obstacles on your own only. You can also get a little bit surrounding for your creativity. So the conclusion is that if you have decided to take admission in MITS, you have to decide your future on your own only.
My college is neither good nor bad it’s bad for some branches like chemical and biotechnology because it's fees is high in comparison with other branches and there are no other extra other facilities but yes it's mechanical branch is good and it has good facilities and teachers are also good in this branch. It’s a Government College and its ranking is good but in my personal view I think it is not a good college.
Placements: In my course, campus placement is only about 50-60%, but many students are able to grab off-campus placements through their hard work or their internships offer them PPO (in many cases). The highest package in campus was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA, whereas the top recruiting company is Accenture, which takes students on mass recruitment. The college doesn't offer any internships; students need to grab them through their own capabilities, connections, and applications.
Placements: Only 29 percent student were placed. Rest of students are still unemployed or some were move for forward education. 3to 4 LPA is the average package. The companies are Google, Ancher, Uber tata etc come for placement.
