A very old college for medical education .
Placements: This is a medicine field; you get your job only after you complete the postgraduation. If you complete the postgraduation, the top hospital in the city will provide you with a job based on your research done in the MBBS degree as well as the postgraduation; otherwise, no one will accept you .
Infrastructure: They will provide a vast classroom with fully centralized air conditioning. There will be labs for each subject and they were awesome to learn practical knowledge for your MBBS degree. There are eight floors in this hostel, and for each floor, there will be 30 rooms. For each room, there will be three students allotted. Here is no in-time or out-time. There are lots of sports clubs here. The canteen is the worst canteen in the whole world. Mess are okay .
Faculty: The teachers were qualified doctors. Yes, of course, they follow a competency-based medical education curriculum. 40% is the minimum pass percentage for exams. This theory exam is very easy but when it comes to practical exams, it will feel like you were in a UPSC interview .
Other: I chose this course because it is the noble course in the most entire world. You have to study hard in this course. There is nothing to complain about about this course. They will conduct some academic events called GENISIS and cultural events called RIVIVALS.

Worth for fees but not good for placement .
Placements: Since it is a government institute, there is no placement. We can get job in IT sectors for regulatory ,clinical research and pharmacovigilance. In pharmaceutical industries, one can get into basic trainee jobs for QC, QA, production trainee for manufacturing units.
Infrastructure: Well spaces classrooms with labs and small library. There is not good toilet facility and drinking water facility. College management won't allow sports and games. There is no WiFi facility in the campus. Hostel food is adjustable for boys but in girls hostel , food is not that good.
Faculty: Some teachers are not upto to the mark but some of them are good and knowledgeable. There are some internal politics among staff, so it is important that one should not get into it. Semester exams can be easily cleared and the pass percentage is about 85%

Internships are provided based on students' interests with their projects. Industrial visits are arranged based on students' interest in testing laboratories. Top role offers include Bioinformatics, CDM, etc.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good. It maintains well-equipped instruments like IR, UV, and HPLC at a high standard of maintenance. Sports are conducted every year. As it is a medical college and hospital, medical facilities are available.

Q:   What impact does the number of available seats have on NEET 2024 cut-offs?

A:

A significant number of applicants compete for a limited number of seats in government medical colleges under the All India quota based on NEET exam, making admission extremely competitive.

For General AI category, the cutoffs are substantially higher than the cutoff for other All India quota seats. A considerably higher score—often in the range of 650–700 or more out of 720—is typically needed to be eligible for a place in a government medical college through the All India quota.

A candidate who scores only 2–4 marks above the cutoff is likely to enter a highly competitive zone where their prospects of getting an All India quota seat are unpredictable and dependent on a number of variables, including the distribution of their overall score and the number of seats available.

The number of candidates taking the NEET exam has a direct effect on the cut-off as well. A big candidate pool raises the level of competition and could result in higher cutoffs. The cut-off scores are impacted by the number of seats available in medical colleges.
