Satisfied with placement but dissatisfied with the faculty, except a few very good ones.
Placements: The placements for the senior batch have been quite decent. About 70-80% have been placed. The highest salary has gone above 18 lacs pa. The average has been around 8-9 lacs pa. The internship placement rate was 25% with the highest package being 12 lacs pa and average around 3.6 lacs pa. There is a placement cell in place which is quite efficient.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. We have properly functioning labs and classrooms, all completely air conditioned. However, the hostel is quite sub standard. There are no ACs and 3 sharing rooms with a common bathroom on a single floor. The food of the mess is pretty average. They do provide a good variety of all cuisines.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable, barring a few. Teachers often use PowerPoint in class. The teacher to student ratio is 1:30 on average. The course curriculum is helpful but could be improved upon to include industry specific skills.
Other: MSE has a very active social life wherein all festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm and participation by all.

Placements are good with good courses, but the faculty members are average.
Placements: Placements in the college were really good. Many companies came to the college to conduct placements and offered good packages. There were around 95% placements this year. Placements were good for our senior batch also as the placement cell committee worked really hard for it. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the minimum was 6 LPA. Roles offered to students were related to data analytics and consultancy.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The library has AC facility which is really helpful during the summer season. Classrooms are really good, and the quality of food provided on campus is average. Sports and games facilities are available for students, and all festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm.
Faculty: There are five courses with a properly designed curriculum, and they are introducing more courses to make use of our leisure time as well. Teaching methods are mainly based on presentations. Courses provided by the college are very useful, and the teaching quality is satisfactory. We did not get much industry exposure, but they are trying to provide more industry exposure.
Other: The campus is beautiful, and all kinds of events are organised. Overall, the college is good, and they are improving towards a new level day by day.

Great college and nice placements last year.
Placements: The percent of students placed in our course in my college is 80 percent. The highest average package offered is 15 Lacs and the lowest average package offered are 7 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are wipro, TCS, etc. The top roles offered are financial assistants, accountants, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has good facilities to girls, like hostels that are under cctv surveillance and the good security at the campus gate and outside is not allowed. The good classrooms and labs. library is well stocked. The infrastructure of the college is nice, with good buildings and sufficient classrooms and good washrooms, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified with PhDs and Masters in their subjects, the teachers are friendly to students and the teaching quality is good with concept-based teaching. The difficult of the semester exams are hard and the pass percent is around 80.

I am satisfied with the faculty, the infrastructure is good, and the placements are awesome.
Placements: Madras School of Economics has a record of 100% placements for the last 4 years. The average package offered was 9 Lacs per annum. The highest package went up to 15 Lacs, and the least was 6.5 Lacs per annum, last year. 90% of the companies are from South India. Companies like Deloitte, Accenture and PayPal visited the college to offer internships also.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college provides all the facilities. But, the only problem a student faces is the poor quality food. Specifically, the students from North India will not like the food. There is a playground for cricket and football, and also a volleyball ground is available.
Faculty: The faculty are very good and cooperative. All the teachers are well educated and knowledgeable. The students get good support from teachers every time. The teachers also focus on current issues. The student-faculty ratio is 45:1.

One of the best college for Masters in economics.
Placements: 90 percent of the seniors got placed in top firms. Salary ranged from 15 Lacs the highest to 7.5 Lacs the lowest. Average was 10-11 Lacs Companies that visited the campus are American Express, Deloitte, AB Inbev, etc. 40 percent got internship from campus. the highest package was 75 k for internship ( per month).
Infrastructure: Less number of students with decent infrastructure, batch size each year goes to a limit of max 180, comfortable hostel life, a very decent mess food, AC library, chilled campus life, decent classroom 1. The campus is located at the heart of the city with everything available within the range of campus. 2. Safe for girls because of strict rules for both boys and girls 3. Canteen is life there U can't expect more from a post-graduate college offering you placement before you end your Masters. 4 a highly active research cell and placement cell, you are most welcome to come up with your new ideas always, 5 a fully Wi-Fi enabled hostel, though hostel rooms are little clumsy but once you get accustomed to the city, the college and mostly the people around you, it is your other family, you will have a hard time bidding adieu.
Faculty: 1. Faculty is decent since it's post-graduation college, self-study matters a lot, everything can't be spoon-fed 2. They have five courses each course in the first semester are similar to the second semesters you will find differences with each course though not much but you will surely enjoy the course and syllabus structure.
Other: 1. Festive life is great No such festive is left out to be celebrated right from South Indian festivals too. 2 campus crowd is not to be mentioned as a crowd, small crowd so you will know each of them by name, it's more like a family 3. Connectivity is no matter good, markets are nearby, Proper cafes, restaurants, bars, disco everything is closer to you.

Good placements, dissatisfied with faculty and a decent infrastructure.
Placements: The college has superb placements, almost 90% of the students already got placed one more placement session to go. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 5LPA offering roles mainly in financial and data analytics. The placement cell of the college is very effective. The companies also come for taking interns, and the average stipend is of Rs 20,000-25,000 P.M. There are reputed companies like TCS, JP, CITY, Accenture, EXL, and much more which visit the campus.
Infrastructure: All sort of facilities available in the college. The college has good Wi-Fi signals across all the rooms, and the classrooms are pretty spacious. There is also a medical facility in the college for an emergency. There is a small playground, but manageable and the quality of food is not up to the mark on the campus. We are also provided with the canteen in the college itself. The infrastructure of the college is not that good.
Faculty: A few teachers of the college is very good, but rest are either lacking experience, or their teaching methods are not satisfactory. The teachers also use projectors for delivering the lectures, and there is also a big and spacious auditorium. The students to faculty ratio of the college is 20:1. The course curriculum of the college is very good and helpful for the students
