Overall, MVGR is heaven and worth joining.

Placements: More than 95% of students got placed in our college. The highest package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Amazon, Cisco, TCS, Wipro, Virtusa, Capgemini, etc., came here. Almost every student got placed. 50% of students got placed in Cisco, Amazon etc. Software development engineer, network engineer, system engineer etc.

Our college has a good library, but I am not satisfied.

Placements: Around 40 students got placed from our college. Our college is not bad, but placements are a bit low compared to the previous year. In the year 2020, COVID-19 pandemic affected many people and even placements. Usually, the college is average in placements.

Our campus is best in Visakhapatnam in providing placements.

Placements: For conducting campus drives, there is a department called training and placement cell in our college. There are plenty of opportunities to get jobs. As it was among 3rd tier colleges, the highest salary packages can not be anticipated. Mostly, the highest salary package offered to us is around 12 LPA.

The infrastructure of our college is good compared with other colleges.

Placements: Nearly 80% of the students from our course were placed. The top recruitment is in the software field by Capgemini and Tata Consultancy Services. The top role offered is the fabrication of ICs section. Only a single company visited here for our course, and until now, we got the highest salary package of 7 LPA, while the lowest salary package of 2.2 LPA and the average salary package of 3.3 LPA. Three companies offered internships, in which nearly less than 5% of the students got internship offers...

Now education is too costly.

Placements: Less than a 30 percent are placed. Core jobs are not there in Electronics and Communication Engineering departments. Only computers Science and technology engineering and information technology departments have good placements. Others have less scope.

The college is good, but the placements and teaching are not good.

Placements: The college is not good for placements. In my time, around 150 out of 600 odd students got placed through campus interviews. Only TCS was the reputed company which offered placements for MVGR students. They picked only 20-25 students. The next big company was Virtusa that recruited around 10 students.

Dissatisfied because of faculty members. Placements were good in 2018.

Placements: Placements in our college were good this year. Many students were placed this year. Companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, etc., visited the campus for placements and hired many of our students. More than 50% of the students were placed.

Satisfied with the infrastructure and atmosphere, and dissatisfied with the faculty and placements.

Placements: The students who want to pursue mechanical engineering and get placed on campus should not join this college. The CSE and IT students have placements. Only a few students from mechanical engineering got placed. The placement percentage of our department is very low.

Bad placements but good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Literally nill. They show 400 above but don't believe them. If you want to check it. Ask them for the recruited companies and you can know 1 or 2 good companies and others are good for nothing. Most of the students are selected by gsg. But they arena't showing this company because this company is not worthy of showing. More than 100 are selected but they arena't showing this company. Every company that visited is pool campus. There is no major MNC company visited. The students who are selected f...

Nice college for mechanical stream.

Placements: Placements were normal this year for our senior batch. Around 15 companies have come for recruiting. These all were mechanical core companies excluding the software companies. Around 30% students were placed in the core companies and some were even placed in software companies. Hyundai is a regular visiting core company.

MVGR - An average college.

Placements: The college has below average placements as only 15-20% get placed. Apart from TCS, there is nothing much for the EEE students as many small scale electrical/ electronics companies visit the college for hiring but the call letters rarely come as I was one of them who experienced it. Got placed in SIRP and Cyber Power Systems but didn't receive call letter for SIRP till now even after 3 years. Internship is the rarest scenario of the college as faculty/ HOD never agrees to anything apart from the...

Dissatisfied with the placements and faculty.

Placements: First of all, I would like to say something about MVGR. The TCS is the campus recruiter. Apart from that, no company will come to the college for recruitment. All the students need to go for off-campus drives and pool campus drives.

Our college is very good for the ones who are self motivated and can develop to a good graduate.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch are very good, but in our case, it's completely reversed. Our batch got fewer placements. Nearly 50 to 60 students were placed in some good companies, out of 1500 students. Salaries offered by companies ranged from Rs. 1.8 to Rs. 4 LPA. Some of the companies are TCS, Virtusa, Comtech, Trianz, etc., which visited the college. The kind of roles that were offered to the students was of the software developer, tester, BPO, etc.

Our college is good, but people who uses our resources can achieve their goals.

Placements: From our department, our seniors got average placements, and we can't even have the confidence that we get placed in a company. Our chief director as he was the minister, he was not concentrating on our college, if he places our students on top of other colleges in placements, but he won't give the authority.

My college is noteworthy in all aspects

Placements: Considering the college reputation and other aspects of faculty members. The placements that the college manage to bring are too small. I think this is due to the fact that we don't have placement members working outside our college. It would be better if we have an outside placement department.

Don’t waste your future by joining MVGR. College infrastructure is outstanding but it is located far away from Visakhapatnam. Students who have completed their B.Tech from MVGR will be joining as the faculty of this college. I would not recommend this college to anyone.

Satisfied only with the campus environment

Placements: About 40 percent of our seniors got placed in various companies. Highest package is 22 lakh per annum. Lowest is 3.5 lakh per annum. Amazon is the top recruiting company in our college. About 35 to 40 percent of students got placed in various companies.

Campus surroundings are good with a good atmosphere.

Placements: Almost 10% of the students got placed. Software companies are the top recruiters. The highest salary package offered is below 5 LPA. Companies like ITZ My Choice, Nineleaps, Hyundai Mobis, Riktam Technologies, Keyence India and CDK Global offered the salary package of 4.5 LPA, and Cognizant Technologies, Sriram Group and Extramarks Edu India offered the salary package of 4 LPA.

Education is more but placement is less.

Placements: Not more placement. Placed students are more from computer Science and engineering and information technology only but core placements are less. Its better to learn computer Science courses outside from first year so that its easy to get placement for other people.
