Q:   Is MBBS at Maharaja Agrasen Medical College a good choice?

    A:
    {Source: MBBS students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from current and past students, here's what stands out:

    * Good infrastructure: The college has modern amenities such as air-conditioned classrooms, libraries, and hostels.
    * Well-qualified faculty: Teachers are experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping students achieve their goals.
    * Clinical exposure: The college offers ample opportunities for hands-on learning and clinical exposure.
    * High pass percentage: Despite challenging exams, the college maintains a relatively high pass percentage.
    * Placement records: Most students (around 90%) get placements within a short span after graduation, with average salaries ranging from INR60,000 to INR90,000 per month.
    * Campus life: Although the hostel conditions are not ideal, the college has various recreational spaces and activities, such as sports meets and fests, to foster a sense of community among students.

However, some limitations were noted, such as:

    * Limited extracurricular options: While there are sports facilities and cultural events, the surrounding area lacks entertainment options.
    * Some issues with hostels and mess food: Students mentioned concerns about hostel cleanliness and mess food quality, although these issues seem to be gradually improving.

With careful consideration of individual needs and preferences, students can find this institution to be a good fit for pursuing their MBBS dreams.

The college is the best and good for those who want to become better doctors and help the needful.
Placements: In the college, there are 100 seats per batch. The highest package is for the students doing PG here. They can even go abroad. In internship, a 25k per month salary is given. The doctors from this college have even been placed in AIIMS, AFMC, and PGI Chandigarh. The internship is done here because the college has its own hospital, which has 2000 patients visiting per day. The college is trusted by Jindal and family. It has the best opportunity.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It has separate grounds for every sport. In 2023, a new sports complex was formed. The academics are also the best. The labs are very good, and in Haryana, this college has the best faculty. The study environment is very good. The DH, biochem, and patho labs are all the best.
Faculty: Most teachers are very good. All the faculties are MD and MS doctors and the best in their field. The college produces very good doctors. The average paper is asked in the semester exams, and practicals are good. It has a very good pass percentage of 90%. In the 1st year, there are three types of examinations: generally called MPE (Major Periodic Examination). After that, you have to give prof exams, and then the practicals. The college has a good examination environment and is the best for those who want to become the best doctors.
Other: Because I want to become the best doctor, I think there is nothing to improve as the college is the best. The college has its own fest, MANIA, organized every year. There are other courses also, so the crowd is bigger. There are thousands of patients, 1000+ staff, and 800+ students here.

Appropriate to pursue MBBS. Satisfied because of faculty.
Placements: Ima MBBS 2020 batch student. I will pass out in year 2025. During period of internship monthly 17k is paid to intern doctor. About 50 percent students got placement. Normally 80-90k package would be offered at time of placement. In Haryana, selection percentage in Post Graduation course is the highest in our college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available in academics branch. But it is not available for students it can be accessed by staff only. In hostels no Wi-Fi facility is availed by college authorities students have to purchase Wi-Fi facility personally. Library and reading hall is spacious. Mess food quality is poor but hygiene is maintained properly.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and well fulfilled with knowledge. Teaching quality is good. Teachers are supportive obviously with some exceptions. Medical curriculum is updated by Medical Council of India. They update curriculum whenever necessary. Pass percentage is 50 percent.
Other: Every year freshers party is organised by senior batch for recent joined junior batch.

Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are average in our college. Mess food qualities are quite good. We have two libraries. Our hospital patient load is excellent enough to learn clinical skills. There is a separate covid buliding. Our campus is full of greenery. It seems like it's on the lap of nature.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent and skilled in their respective departments. Our curriculum is according to NMC guidelines. Semester exams are quite difficult. We must have to secure 50% marks to pass the exam. To appear in a university exam, a minimum of 80% attendance is mandatory.

Our college has a good faculty with high OPD numbers.
Placements: There are 100 students, with an equal ratio of boys and girls. Almost everyone gets a good package, either here or somewhere else, that is between sixty and ninety thousand miles away. Everyone who graduated here can apply to any good hospital, and he or she has a good opportunity to get placed. Almost every student in our college gets an internship. Top roles include junior residents and medical officers.
Infrastructure: Our college has provided us with a well-maintained, air-conditioned library. We also have a sports complex that is under construction. There is a food court available for both students and faculty. Wi-Fi is available for college use. Classrooms are of good quality with air conditioners. The hostel is of average quality. The food available is also average. The canteen gets good food. Medical facilities are open twenty-four hours. An annual sports meet is held for sports recreation.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are really helpful, and we have good student-teacher interaction. All teachers are qualified, with a postgraduate degree at least. Their teaching is also good, with interactive sessions too. The course curriculum is according to the national medical council. It fulfils all the requirements of NMC. It really helps students deal with any kind of real-life problem related to their job. Semester exams are at a good level. But the passing percentage is a little low.
Other: I chose MBBS because of my interest in treating patients' pain. Our college should improve practical practice. There are many events that take place at our college, like an annual fest, an annual sports meet, and a freshers' party for the newcomers.
