Haryana NEET counselling 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round-2 result has been declared on December 3, 2024. The deposition of the provisional tuition fee is being conducted till December 5, 2024, 9 AM. The institute reporting process will be conducted on December 5, 2024, 11 AM onwards at Pt BD Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. As many as 15 candidates out of 762 applicants have been allotted MBBS and BDS seats. While five candidates have been allotted MBBS seats, 10 candidates have been allotted BDS seats.

The registration and choice filling were conducted from December 1 to December 2, 2024, 11.59 PM . Those who had registered and participated in the previous rounds of Haryana NEET 2024 Counselling did not need to register afresh. Moreover, those who have been allotted seats and have joined institutes were not eligible to participate in this round. 

DMER Haryana has stated, "All candidates (already registered (irrespective of their admission status) and freshly registered candidates} who wish to participate in the Special Stray Round-2 of counseling and want to opt for State Quota Seats in only Government/Govt. Aided Medical / Dental Colleges shall be required to deposit online an amount of INR 10,000 (INR 5000 for SC/SCD/BCA/BCB/EWS/PWBD of Haryana State) and if the candidate wishes to also opt for State Quota Seats/Management Quota Seats in Medical/ Dental Pvt. Colleges including Private Universities then he/she shall have to deposit online an amount of INR 1.00 Lakh. This facility shall be available in the login ID of the candidates on admission web portal. In case of failure of any registered candidate to deposit the requisite security amount, they will NOT be considered eligible to participate in the Special Stray Round-2 of counselling."

This round has a total of 27 MBBS and BDS seats for allotment.

Haryana NEET Counselling 2024 Stray Round registration and choice filling processes was conducted from October 25 to October 29, 2024, 11.59 PM. The seat allotment result was declared on October 30, 2024. As many as 163 candidates have been allotted seats in this round. While 80 candidates have been allotted MBBS seats, 83 candidates have been given BDS seats.

The tuition fee had to be paid through the Haryana NEET 2024 counselling admission portal from October 30 to November 4, 2024, 5 PM. The institute reporting process was conducted on November 5, 2024. As of now, no further round has been announced. In case of vacant seats, a fifth-round will be announced by DMER Haryana, or spot counselling will be conducted to fill those seats. 

The Haryana NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 was conducted from August 21 to September 5, 2024. Round 2 was conducted from September 11 to October 3, 2024, and the third round was conducted from October 9 to October 23, 2024. 
The Haryana NEET UG 2024 counselling dates ranged for four months, till December 2024. As part of the Haryana NEET counselling process, DMER Haryana releases the merit list and seat matrix, followed by which eligible candidates have to register and fill choices. After that, the seat allotment list will be declared and candidates have to report to the institutes for document verification and admission fee payment to confirm the acceptance of the seat offered to them.

A:

There are total six rounds of Haryana NEET UG counselling. The list of rounds are given below:

Q:   When will the Haryana NEET Counselling 2024 be conducted?

The Haryana NEET UG counselling 2024 Special Stray Round is being conducted from December 1 to December 5, 2024. The Special Stray Round 1 was held from November 23 to December 1, 2024.

The first round of Haryana NEET 2024 counselling had started on August 21, 2024, with the registration and choice filling process. The Round 1 of Haryana NEET 2024 counselling process ended on September 5, 2024.

Q:   How many government seats will be allotted through Haryana NEET counselling 2024?

According the last year's seat matrix, there were as many as 1,870 seats for MBBS and around 100 seats for BDS that were offered to the candidates through Haryana NEET counselling for the Government colleges.  As per the seat matrix released by DMER Haryana for the Haryana NEET counselling 2023, there were a total of 345 seats including government and private institutes. DMER Haryana releases seat matrix or seat vacancy list separately for each round prior to the commencement of the registration process. Haryana NEET UG counselling is conducted in partially in online mode and offline mode. Except the last phase of counselling, which is the document verification, the rest of the rounds of the processes are conducted in online mode. DMER Haryana releases the counselling notices or the schedule and the seat matrix in an online mode, on the official website. The registration and choice filling processes also need to be done in online mode by visiting the official website of the exam. DMER Haryana will release the Haryana NEET counselling 2024 result or the seat allotment list separately for each round on the slated date. First, a provisional seat allotment list will be declared, after which candidates will be given a chance to raise grievances within a slated date. After that, the final seat allotment result will be declared. Candidates willing to accept the allotted seat will have to report to the institutes or opt for upgradation by participating in the next round of counselling.

Haryana NEET counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of candidates participating in the Haryana NEET UG counselling 2024 are given below:

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India
  • Candidate must have qualified for NTA NEET 2024

Haryana NEET counselling 2024 process will involve various steps such as registration, submission of counselling fee and verification of documents. Below are the details of each step that a candidate has to follow: 

Registration

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Haryana NEET 2024 need to register themselves on the official website of DMER, Haryana. To register online, candidates will have to provide a valid email ID and mobile number.

Using the credentials generated during the registration process, log in to the registered account and proceed to fill out the application form for Haryana NEET counselling 2024. Candidates also need to pay a non-refundable counselling fee to submit their applications. The steps to register for Haryana NEET counselling 2024 are given below:

All Private Medical/Dental institutes including those under Private Universities will deposit a processing fee of INR 2,000 per sanctioned intake of seats. Candidates must note that the registration fee is non-refundable.

List of registered candidates and verification of documents

Post the last date for registration, DMER Haryana will release a list with the names of the candidates who have completed the registration process. Listed candidates will have to report before the Admission Committee, Pt BD Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, for verification of their documents and eligibility. The candidate will be informed whether the candidate is eligible for the counselling of Haryana NEET by the Admission Committee.

State Merit List and Choice Filling

Candidates found eligible will be listed according to their NEET 2024 scores. Eligible candidates will now have to fill in the choice of course/institute by logging into their registered accounts. These choices will form the basis of the seat allocation process.

Seat Allotment List

DMER Haryana will allocate the seats based on the merit of the applicants and the choices filled by them. The seat allotment list for Haryana NEET counselling 2024 will be uploaded online.

Reporting to the allocated institute

Candidates who have been allocated a seat and who wish to continue with the allocated seat, need to report to the allocated institute for confirmation of their admission. If a candidate fails to report to the allocated institute before the deadline, his/her seat will be forfeited.

Q:   How can I fill choices in the Haryana NEET counselling process?

A:

Only those candidates who have registered for the Haryana NEET counselling process will be able to fill and lock choices. After logging in, they will have to select Course from the dropdown menu. From there, they have to choose "College" and click on update button. After filling all choices, they have to press "Save" button. In the a printout of filled choices must be taken. Candidates can modify/add/delete choices as many times as they want till the closing time as per schedule.

Q:   What if I forget to lock choices during the choice-filling process of Haryana NEET UG counselling?

A:

It is mandatory to save choices during the Haryana NEET counselling, otherwise the choices will not be considered and such candidates will not be eligible for seat allocation. If the candidate fills & save the choices, the last saved choices filled by candidate will be considered. Q:   Is it possible to retain the seat allotted to me in previous round of Haryana NEET counselling even if I have been allotted a better seat?

A:

No, if the candidate gets a better option, the seat allotted to him/her initially will be cancelled and the candidate will have to accept the "upgraded" seat. In any case, such "upgrade" candidate will not be allowed to retain the seat initially allotted. Therefore, the candidate must take great care in choice filling for "upgrade".
