Haryana NEET Counselling 2024: Special Stray Round Result (Out), Institute Reporting (December 5), Registration & Choice Filling (Over), Seat Matrix

There are total six rounds of Haryana NEET UG counselling. The list of rounds are given below:

DMER Haryana announced the fifth and sixth rounds of counselling based on the number of vacant seats. 

The Haryana NEET UG counselling 2024 Special Stray Round is being conducted from December 1 to December 5, 2024. The Special Stray Round 1 was held from November 23 to December 1, 2024.

The Stray Round was conducted from October 25 to November 5, 2024. The registration and choice filling processes were conducted from October 25 to October 28, 2024. The seat allotment result was declared on October 30, 2024.

Round 3 was conducted from October 9 to October 23, 2024. The registration and choice filling rounds were conducted from October 9 to October 13. The seat allotment result has been declared on October 15, 2024.

Round 2 counselling started on September 11, 2024 with the registration and choice filling process, which ended on September 21, 2024. The seat allotment result will be declared on September 23, 2024. The second round concluded on October 5, 2024. 

The first round of Haryana NEET 2024 counselling had started on August 21, 2024, with the registration and choice filling process. The Round 1 of Haryana NEET 2024 counselling process ended on September 5, 2024. 

Haryana NEET UG counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER) Haryana. Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, is the conducting body for this state counselling. This university, on behalf of DMER Haryana conducts the counselling for the 85 per cent state quota seats for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates who qualify for the NEET exam are eligible to participate in this state counselling. According the last year's seat matrix, there were as many as 1,870 seats for MBBS and around 100 seats for BDS that were offered to the candidates through Haryana NEET counselling for the Government colleges.  As per the seat matrix released by DMER Haryana for the Haryana NEET counselling 2023, there were a total of 345 seats including government and private institutes. DMER Haryana releases seat matrix or seat vacancy list separately for each round prior to the commencement of the registration process. Hence, the actual number of government seats for the Haryana NEET counselling 2024 will be known only after the release of the seat matrix. 

The Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER) Haryana is the conducting body for the Haryana NEET counselling. Hence, the official website of this state counselling is dmer.haryana.gov.in. Haryana NEET UG counselling is conducted in partially in online mode and offline mode. Except the last phase of counselling, which is the document verification, the rest of the rounds of the processes are conducted in online mode. DMER Haryana releases the counselling notices or the schedule and the seat matrix in an online mode, on the official website. The registration and choice filling processes also need to be done in online mode by visiting the official website of the exam. The merit list and the seat allotment result are also declared on the official website of the Haryana NEET counselling, in PDF format. The last and final step, which is the institute reporting, or the document verification, has to be done in offline mode, by visiting the allotted institute, or the venue stated by the counselling authority.

The seat allotment dates for Haryana NEET counselling 2024 varies for each round. At first, Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER) Haryana releases the provisional seat allotment result, which is followed by the objection raising or reporting for discrepancies. After that, the final seat allotment list is released. As of now, DMER Haryana has released the seat allotment result for the first three rounds of Haryana NEET counselling 2024. Yes, it is mandatory to qualify for NEET to participate in the counselling process. Admission to all UG medical/dental courses in Haryana, vis-a-vis India will be based on NEET results only. Even if candidates belong to Management Quota or NRI Quota, they must secure the minimum score in NEET as stated by NTA.

As per the eligibility criteria of the Haryana NEET UG counselling, candidates fulfilling the following condition will be able to participate in the state counselling process:

• Candidates must have appeared and qualified for NEET
• Candidates belonging to states other than Haryana are also eligible to participate in the counselling process, but they will have to opt for the Management Quota or the NRI Quota
• Candidates must be domiciles of Haryana state
• In case they wish to apply through reserved quota, they must bear the necessary documents issued by the competent authority
• They must be fulfilling the NEET eligibility criteria.

Yes, candidates who wish to participate in the Haryana NEET counselling will have to register on the official website of the Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The step by step process to register for Haryana NEET counselling is given below:

• Click on the ‘New Registration’ tab

• Click on the Declaration checkbox and click on Continue

• Enter NEET Roll Number and NEET Application Number

• Click on Check NEET Details

• Fill up the mandatory details, upload documents and submit

• Pay the application fee

To participate in the counselling of Haryana NEET 2023, candidates have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of INR 2,500 for the Unreserved/General category and Rs 1,250 for the Reserved/PH category. The fee has to be paid in online mode. 

The list of documents required to be submitted, or to be produced during the document verification round of the Haryana NEET counselling are as follows:

• Passing Certificate of Class 10
• Passing certificate of Class 12
• Marksheets of class 12
• Character certificate issued by the last institute
• Permanent residence certificate (if applicable)
• Certificate of bonafide resident (if applicable)
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• A certificate concerning benchmark disabilities (if applicable)
• Certificate of dependence of freedom fighters (if applicable)
• Certificate of ESM (if applicable)
• Income certificate (if applicable)
• Affidavit to certify minority status
• Copy of the application form of Haryana NEET 2023 counselling
• Allotment letter
• Any two valid photo ID proofs (Aadhaar card/PAN card/Driving License/Passport/Voter ID/Ration card)
• Recent passport-sized photographs (four)

For NRI candidates, the documents are as follows:

• Equivalency certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities
• Conversion certificate (grading to the percentage of marks)
• Proof of NRI status (Passport, OCI/PIO letter, bank account details)

Only those candidates who have registered for the Haryana NEET counselling process will be able to fill and lock choices. After logging in, they will have to select Course from the dropdown menu. From there, they have to choose "College" and click on update button. After filling all choices, they have to press "Save" button. In the a printout of filled choices must be taken. Candidates can modify/add/delete choices as many times as they want till the closing time as per schedule.

DMER Haryana releases the seat matrix for Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 counselling before each round. Moreover, the course-wise counselling is conducted separately, and hence, the seat matrix for different course groups will be out at different durations of the Haryana NEET UG counselling 2024.  

The actual number of MBBS and BDS seats will be announced by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Haryana, along with the seat matrix. Last year, the total number of MBBS and BDS seats offered were 1,685 and 850 respectively. The number of seats will be updated as and when the seat matrix will be released. 

Yes, after the declaration of the Haryana NEET counselling seat allotment result, candidates will be given the option to upgrade the seat choice. Based on that, the counselling authorities will upgrade the seats based on the choices entered by candidates, in case the desired seat is vacant after the institute reporting process is concluded.

It is mandatory to save choices during the Haryana NEET counselling, otherwise the choices will not be considered and such candidates will not be eligible for seat allocation. If the candidate fills & save the choices, the last saved choices filled by candidate will be considered. Hence, it is very important to check and assess the choices filled and the order of it and to save them properly. In case of any difficulty, they must contact the Helpline Number of DMER Haryana.

No, if the candidate gets a better option, the seat allotted to him/her initially will be cancelled and the candidate will have to accept the "upgraded" seat. In any case, such "upgrade" candidate will not be allowed to retain the seat initially allotted. Therefore, the candidate must take great care in choice filling for "upgrade".

The Haryana NEET counselling 2024 seat allotment result for Round 1 was declared on August 27, 2024. The seat allotment result will be out for each round approximately five to six days after the beginning of the counselling process. At first, the provisional seat allotment result will be declared, and candidates will be given the chance to raise grievances against the allotment. After one or two days, the final result will be declared. The round-wise Haryana NEET counselling 2024 seat allotment result will be mentioned as and when they are declared by the officials.
