Our college is good, and will be improved further.

Placements: Our college is famous for placements and has a great opportunity of getting into the core and non-core side. They are held on B-block mostly, and it is easy to get a job in the placements. The placement officers are kind and gentle towards students and motivate us, all the time.

Really satisfied with the college

Placements: The placements have been slightly reduced than past years. Every student has the right to participate in the selection process no matter the percentage or the backlogs present unless the company asks for any criteria. The salary is 14 lakhs per annum which is the highest for the last year. An average package of 3 lakhs is given. Many reputed companies have visited the college. Recently, Amazon recruitments have taken place and they recruited around 40 from all branches included. Jobs have been o...

The full details about MGIT college, Gandipet.

Placements: There are placements in our college, but no bigger companies visit our college for recruiting the students. The companies like Tech Mahindra visit the college only to offer BPO jobs, and not more than that. I rate 7/10 for the placements. The package is not given more than 3.5 lakhs per annum, and the least was around two lakhs per annum. The students must have a minimum aggregate of 60% not less than that.

Review of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology

Placements: The college had good placements with companies like TCS and Deloitte taking the first place to come. Roles like assistant systems engineer and tester were offered. The placement figures were about 75%. The rest opted out of placements for higher studies. As a part of the industry-based internship, students were interns at BDL, BHEL and DRDO.

The college next to CBIT(happy days CBIT).

Placements: In our college, we get placements with packages of around 3-4 lakhs. The maximum package is 4 lakhs and compared to last year, the number of placements decreased. I don't know about the overall number of placed students but in my class, out of 70 members, 50-55 members were placed. Basically, most companies were interested in recruiting only CSE and IT students, sometimes ECE also. Placements for civil, mechanical and EEE in their core section was a nightmare. Overall, the placements at our camp...

My experience at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology.

Placements: Our placements procedure was quite simple. Most of the times, we were aware of the fields that would be tested. MGIT ropes in jobs for students of all cadres and interests. Highest paying job was around 12 LPA. Most well-versed students see themselves being placed with a 3-5 LPA package.

Good placements and infrastructure. Faculty needs to be updated.

Placements: Placement is a big asset of our college(MGIT). As it is in the top 10 colleges, there are a good number of placements. On an average, there will be 400 placements, and I have been placed in 3 companies. Last year's placement number is 585, but this year its slightly low and the number is 390. As TCS is major recruiting company for our college, last time it took 285 members but this time TCS is down due to some reasons and it took only 17 members. Placements will start in the month of September i...

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements for our seniors were pretty good compared to our batch. 50% seniors got placed and our placements are still in process. Packages range from 1.5 - 3 lpa. Coming to internships, the college won't provide any internship particularly but you may get some help from the faculty.

I will always respect my college, but out of courtesy, not with heart.

Placements: The placement scenario is better, as there are companies coming for each and every branch. If you have the potential, you will get a good job in your branch. New opportunities are opening up every year, as the college is improving its status. More than 450+ job offers have been given to students from the 2016 year batch. Frankly speaking, it was an average college until 2010. But in the past couple of years, it has grown up as one of the best colleges in Telangana (talking about private colleg...

Good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: In a class of 60 students, about 15- 20 could get placed in MNCs like Amazon, IBM, Cyient, Mahindra and Mahindra, TCS, Franklin Templeton, ADP. Apart from these, 2-3 other software and a few core companies have also conducted recruitment drives. All of them offered salaries in the range of 2.5-3 lacs/annum. The batch that followed also had a similar scenario.

Satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2017, good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are good for our batch and seniors. Most of the companies were startups and around 40 companies visit our campus. The top recruiters were TCS and Tech Mahindra. Coming to the packages, the average was 3 LPA and the highest package was 12 LPA. The internship offers were also good.

Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology is the only private institution in Telangana which provides Metallurgical and Materials Engineering . Excellent laboratories and experienced faculty. NABL accredited college, good placements for ECE CSE EEE but poor for MME students. I recommend this college because Metallurgical Engineering has wide scope in every field.

MGIT, it’s a great college. It has got everything what a student needs starting from the studies, sports, extra-curricular activities, incredible fests, big ground, great labs, etc. The faculty is well experienced and the labs here are also great. One of the main thing I like about MGIT is it is huge and also has a lot of greenery around and as it is placed in the outskirts, the location is also very much calm and peaceful. The faculty is also friendly and kind. So, we can say that MGIT is one h...

MGIT is an 18-year old educational institution with very good infrastructure including a vast library, research and sports facilities. It has very experienced teaching faculty and above-average teaching standards. It was ranked 7th among all JNTU-affiliated colleges in Hyderabad. The mid-sized canteen has a wide range of tasty food items available. Lots of greenery and convenient infrastructure make it a very good experience for a college student. It is located very close to Ocean Park, a be...

MGIT is known for greenery. So many campus events, social activities and technical fests. We can learn so many things at same time. Professor’s guidance is also very nice. They encourage in every aspect. In academic point of view, more than 60% of the students are getting jobs every year. The major campus visitors are TCS, Infosys etc. So many people are opting for higher education and achieving very good opportunities in their companies. Over all, whoever joins they will get broad exposure.

Good faculty, curriculum is tight and busy, good enough infrastructure.

Placements: Coming to the placement opportunity in this college,60-70% of students get placed by good companies with good packages. The highest package was 10-12 Lacs and the lowest was 4 Lacs. Top recruiting company is Accenture. Internship opportunities are not given by the college, student should get by his own efforts.
