Placements: The placements were related to social jobs and as well as percentage were marked as above 7 CGPA of job. The students are particularly said to be well dressed in formals so that to make a good impression. Even the placement cell demands to be in professional dress.
Placements: There were no placements provided in the college for B.A honours political science, but there were placements for B.Com honours. There is an opportunity to work in other companies as workshops are conducted. Internships are mostly unpaid, but it gives experience.
Placements: Placements in our college were average as 30% of the students got placed. The salary offered was handsome, according to the course. The starting salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month. HDFC Ltd., PMG, Deloitte, etc., visited the college. Back-end, sales, and customer service were the roles offered to us. 15% of the students got placed in great companies with good salaries. Stipend offered was according to the roles. About Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 7,000 per month was offered during internships. Interns...
Placements: The placements provided by our college are average, and the package offered was around 4 LPA. NIIT visited the college for placements, this year, offering the role of a content writer. E&Y and Urbanclap also visited the campus. The placement cell is poor, and they do not keep the students updated about the companies visiting the campus.
Placements: The College has a placement cell which is very active and efficient. Most of the students who apply for the placement get good offers. Companies such as American express, Genpact, Urbanclap and other MNCs visit for campus placements. The average salary is around 3-4 Lacs. Also students get offers for internships in various sectors.
Placements: The placement cell present in the college is active. However, placements are mostly available for students belonging to the commerce stream, and there are hardly any placements for students of the humanities stream. There are a few exceptions too. As ours is a girls college, hospitality related job opportunities are abundant. Companies like Vistara conduct recruitment drives on our campus, and also other renowned companies like KMPG, American Express, Genpact etc., visit the college to offer pla...
Placements: Very few students in my branch attended the placement interviews. A decent number of them were placed. The packages offered were marginally low, around 1.5 lacs per annum. Various companies like Genpact and others visited the campus. Same was the case for the previous batches too.
Placements: We have placement cell in our college which will help in contacting MNC's for job interviews and internship during course tenure. Even many MNC's like KPMG and Orion used to visit the college for placements. We are eligible for Delhi University placements too.
Placements: Despite economics honours is one of the most sought-after subjects in my college, the college had barely 2-3 companies coming for placements. The companies had an intake of only 4-5 students, this was the biggest drawback of the placement cell. Companies like Evalueserve and Clare Vortex, which are big brands came to our college.
Placements: Placements were average, around 30 students in total got placed. Placements were mostly for commerce graduates, and 1-2 companies did place, economics students, as well. The ratio of students placed from our college and other colleges was relatively low, and this brought in dissatisfaction amongst the students.
Placements: If you want to get placed in a science field, then you have to score consistently good marks in your graduation because only all over Delhi University toppers are offered placements. If you want to switch to the corporate world, then you can apply for on-campus placements. Companies like UrbanClap, American Express, and E&Y do come here with decent packages in between 2-3 LPA CTC.
Placements: In our college, i.e., Maitreyi college's placement cell works good but they need to put in more efforts for betterment. The highest package offered is 10 Lakhs per annum and the lowest package offered is 8 Lakhs per annum which is not enough. The placement cell selects less percentage of the candidates, not based upon the academic qualification, but the performance of the students as well.
Placements: The college is known for its high salary packages from various renowned companies. Around 60% of the students have been recruited this year, with an average package of 3-4 LPA, and the highest package was offered by Josh technology, with 8 LPA. The placement cell of our college is very efficient, as it widens opportunities for students and exposes them to various companies.
Placements: There is no placement as such. But half of the friend of mine moved to master degree and few are preparing for Government exam like UPSC SSC. And other who decided to do job - they are doing great with the help of linkedin and naukri portal. We even didn't get any help regarding placement, nothing. But overall the knowledge we got from Maitreyi it was excellent. And we all are doing great in our life. Thanks Maitreyi.
Placements: Our college has good link ups with almost best companies like Google, panasonic, etc. Thus students get the best chance to showcase their talent and efficiency. Apart from these many of our students also get placements from NGOs which help them to inculcate better humane characters.
Placements: The college is known for its high salaried packages from various renowned companies. Around 50-60 students have been recruited this year. The highest paid salary was 8 Lacs per annum by Josh talk. The placement cell is very effient as it widens the opportunity for students and expose them to various companies.
Placements: Being an undergraduate course there is hardly any placement during a session because generally students prefer to pursue higher education after completing undergraduate course. Every student needs more expertise in the respective field to work in any institution as it will be fruitful for both the student and the institution.
Placements: The placements for my senior batch was average. Sine most of the students prefers for higher education, most of them does not choose to sit for placements. Yes there is a placement cell in college and it is active as well. Companies like Gen pact, Jamboree education comes to the college placement.
Placements: 10-15 comes for the placement like urban clap, E&Y, genpact etc. They don't even select 10% of the student. The lowest and the highest salary are 11000 and 35000 respectively. Student didn't get the best placement. As many companies did not come to the college and the company which are coming the do select 2-3 students.
Placements: I was absolutely dissatisfied with the placement of Maitreyi College as there were no placements for graduate students from science field. For students of commerce stream also, there were limited placements with the lowest salary offered. Most of the students themselves had to search for the job outside the campus.
