Absolutely satisfied with everything.
Placements: Our college holds placement at a huge level, various companies come to select the candidates for their positions, recruiters also get satisfied with the skills, knowledge, and passion of the students who enroll themselves in the placement programme every year.
Infrastructure: The hostel is nearby and clean with hygiene around everywhere, our president also takes care of each and everything like food, the lacking of needs of the students. The infrastructure is good enough with various facilities like AC, fans, and benches all in good condition.
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive in all ways, telling me earlier about the exam process. Exams are also done so smoothly in the college under the whole guidance of the teachers.

It's a great college to go for.
Placements: The placement cell of this college is very active. Many students secure internships and placements in marketing and sales. The arts and commerce courses have good placement opportunities. For science courses, students mainly participate in summer and annual research internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent, with a beautiful and well-maintained garden that looks even more mesmerizing during the monsoon. The college provides proper Wi-Fi facilities. The canteen serves hygienic food at reasonable prices and maintains cleanliness.
Faculty: The faculty conducts regular classes and delivers quality content if students pay attention. Pursuing a B.Sc. at this college helped me explore various fields, acquire many skills beyond the curriculum, and receive proper counseling for my career path.
Other: The college excels in extracurricular activities with numerous societies, fests, and events occurring almost every month.

It's average, infrastructure is very good, and facilities are also good, etc.
Placements: In my course, there were no placements as we come from a science background. However, many internships are available, although they are not paid. These internships help improve CVs and resumes by offering certificates. Only selected students are able to participate in these internships.
Infrastructure: There are proper classes held every day. The labs and classrooms are very good, and there are seminar halls and an amphitheater as well. The overall infrastructure is good, with Wi-Fi available. The canteen food is affordable, though the taste is average. Hostel fees are too high compared to the accommodation provided.
Faculty: Most of the faculty in our college and course is good, but a negative point is the partiality among students. The exams are of a normal level, mostly based on previous year questions, and about 90% of students pass. However, in internal assessments, marks are often given only to selected students.
Other: The course is quite hectic, with classes running until 5:30 PM. The regularity of classes is a positive aspect. Improvements could be made in the professors' behavior and teaching methods. All cultural activities and fests are conducted once a year, and they are full of fun.

I am satisfied with our course and college.
Placements: In today's time, CUET conducts for admission to college. To join this course, students need to get 250 marks out of 600. If you score 250, then you have to wait till the last round. You will be enrolled for sure. There is little chance or no chance of placements after this course. Students did not get placed in top firms. Students who have more knowledge and are capable of learning frequently get placements.
Infrastructure: The chemistry department facilities are very nice in Maitreyi College. It provides every little thing which is required very frequently. They listen to our problems. A few years back, our college constructed a new science block. It is very amazing. Our canteen is very nice. The hostel is not good. Sports are good.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. In this course, you can study your 12th back in the 1st semester. We can learn a lot. It is helpful to brighten our future and learn a lot from practical sessions. It helps you in your daily life. Exams are moderate. The passing mark is 33 marks out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because I want to do my bachelor's in chemistry. The best thing about this course is that we can choose our main degree after completing 1st year. It will be helpful for students. Subjects will be shortened. It is difficult to manage different subjects. The campus fest, crowd, events, etc., are nice.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements and faculty is great and inspiring.
Placements: The placements at the college campus are not good at all. Absolutely no one in my course was placed. Campus placement grounds were not conducted for my course. You'll gain a lot of knowledge here but when it comes to placements, you'll have to work hard yourself to find a job. Students usually go for higher studies instead of jobs.
Infrastructure: The college has 2 blocks—an old block and a new block. Since the college was established in the 1960's, the old block needs maintenance. Washrooms are not in good condition and fans don't work properly sometimes. The new block, on the other hand, is newly constructed and has all the facilities. The hostel is also newly constructed, has all facilities and is safe too. The canteen is there, which offers food at low prices and it tastes fine. The medical room is there for cases of medical emergencies. Sports meets are also conducted frequently. Cultural and technical festivals are also conducted. Clubs are societies that are also very active.
Faculty: The faculty is really great. Every teacher is well read and has a great grip on their particular subjects. They pay a lot of attention to the students. The course curriculum is designed in a way so as to nurture the minds of future zoologists. The university exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 33% in every exam.
Other: You should go for this course if you wish to be a scientist. It gives in-depth knowledge of the field of Zoology. One thing that could be better is that there should be more skill-based learning rather than just mugging up information. Scholarships are available for economically weak students. The campus crowd is extremely good and all types of people are there. Fests and seminars are regularly conducted on campus.

A good choice among other colleges of DU.
Placements: The placements for the B.A. programme are average. Not many companies hire from our course. The placement rate is around 60-70%, with very few being from on-campus placements. B.A (Hons) has a much better placement as compared to B.A Programme.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is definitely good at Maitrey College, University of Delhi. The campus is a green landscape with red sandstone buildings. The library is well-updated with recent course books. The canteen also offers averagely tasting food at minimal cost. We also have an auditorium, seminar hall, playgrounds, and labs too.
Faculty: The teachers are average. Some of them are very enthusiastic, whereas some of them don't really get bothered about anything. But, all of them are very knowledgeable and experienced. Guest lectures also take place in our college. The exams are also not very difficult.

Q:   Is BA at Maitreyi College better than Zakir Husain Delhi College?

A:

Hello Nishar Ahmed, with both of these institutions having great name for themselves in academics and also having achieved a gradation of "A+" by NAAC, is quite tough to compare these two colleges for studying any subject in Bachelor of arts. Zakir Husain college offers almost 26 different streams or varieties of graduations in Bachelor of arts whereas Maitreyi college offers only 8 varieties in Bachelor of arts. So this may decide a student's choice as to which college to select based on the specialisation one wants to do in this stream of arts. Another criteria is the placements. In this area perhaps Maitri out scores Zakir Hussain. They have declared on their webpage that almost 60% of more than 200 students placed last year were from the stream of arts.

Be that as it may both colleges appear to have a very nice set of teachers and academic programs as well as varieties of co curricular activities for students for the overall development. This makes both the college almost appear at the same footing while selecting. Of course if one is a male student then there is no choice but to go for Zakir Hussain college since Maitreyi is only for girls. But overall I would say Zakir Hussain is better than Maitreyi for BA.

Best wishes to you.
