Placements: Hindu College has DISHA- The Placement Cell and internship cell which is considered to look after the recruiting process of students. Both the cell are on Linkedin platform, which showcases details regarding the placements. Gross stipend values of internships are 9.5+ Lacs and gross package value for placements is 13+crore.
Placements: In the academic year 2023, Hindu College achieved an overall placement rate of approximately 37.15%, with 185 students securing job offers. The median salary for placed students was ₹9.50 LPA. The recruiting companies included Deloitte, KPMG, Ernst and Young (EY), Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and McKinsey and Company.
Placements: It is a good college but it doesn't provide any placement but the placement cell invites some company they provide a minimum package of 2lakh to 2.5lakh par annum and sometimes more but hoping for a placement from here is a mistake so go only for education .
Placements: Coming from the arts stream and being a first-year, I won't be able to guide you much about placements. However, one thing is for sure: the placements for commerce students are quite good here, after SRCC. Besides, the internship societies of Hindu College will keep you informed about every upcoming internship, that too reliable.
Placements: Generally, the placement record of Hindu College is very good because companies like Wipro, TCS, and LG come for campus placement. Mainly 60 to 70 percent of students are able to grab the placement. Also, companies like LIC and Internshala come for internship, as many students want to do internships. The median package offered by the company lies between 6 to 10 LPA.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in our course is 65%. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Many reputed and big companies visited our college for recruitment. Many students also got internships.
Placements: Three types of companies visit for placements Dream tier, Tier 1, and Tier 2. The student intake is different every year. There are more placement opportunities for students from Science and Commerce backgrounds compared to Humanities. If we are lucky, we can secure good placements in our course.
Placements: Students become eligible for placement in the final year, final semester. Different companies come for placement and also offer a number of offers, with a package up to 12 Lacs being the highest among the placement offers. Out of 10 students, approximately 6 students get selected, which is a very good number. I have already graduated from this college and I am planning for further studies.
Placements: Around 15-20% of the students got placed through on-campus placement, while a major chunk chose to pursue higher studies. The stipend offered was between 8 LPA to 20 LPA among Economics Honours for the batch of 2024. The top recruiting companies were: DeShaw, Nation with Namo, ZS Associates, Gartner offering roles like Political Consultancy (NwN), Data Analytics Associate, and roles in the Finance domain.
Placements: In my course, approximately 60 to 65% of students get placed. The highest package in the 2024 batch in B.Com (Hons) was 16.5 LPA, and the average package was around 7.4 LPA. The lowest package one student accepted was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters are EY, Paytm, Zomato, Axis Bank, and many other top MNCs. Placements: There are not very many placements in the college, but some courses like Statistics and Commerce students get some good placements. The students from Sem 6 are eligible for the placements. About other things like packages and all, I am not aware of those things. My plans:- I am going to write CSIR NET and GATE and go for a Ph.D. in nano catalysis and energy storage.
Placements: Around 80% of students in our course were placed. Placements: Placement season has been fruitful to our course. Though the percentage of students getting placed is around 25% only, the exposure and interview experience were at the next level. The highest package is 24 LPA, with the lowest at 7 LPA, giving an average of 10 LPA in my course. Top recruiting companies are D. E. Placements: Hindu is known to provide better placement opportunities for B.Com. and B.Sc. state courses. My course was Chemistry so not many companies offer jobs to B.Sc. Chemistry students. But if one wants to sit for placement, they can with a good CV. Some of my seniors got placed in very good companies with chemistry as their subject.
Placements: There are 95% placements in Hindu College. Abhyas, the internship cell of Hindu College, works a lot for the students to get maximum internships and good placements. There are internship fairs in which we get the opportunity to get internships at top companies. Top companies visit our college every year to choose brilliant students. Packages vary according to the companies. Mostly, the packages are high.
Placements: The placement rate at Hindu College is about 70%, with 80% of students getting placed. The highest salary offered was 24 LPA, while the average was 8-10 LPA. Top companies that hire from the college include BCG, Bain, EY, Deloitte, and D.E. Shaw. A handful of students get internships at big companies like Goldman Sachs. Top roles include research analyst and investment research.
Placements: From 3rd semester we were eligible to give the campus according to our previous semester marks. The companies at that time were Reliance Telecom, Angel, Vodafone, Airtel Call Centre, Maruti Suzuki Sales Team, Reliance Fresh, Woodland, and Eicher Tractors Marketing Team. 65% of students were selected from the campus interviews. I joined Mahindra dealership for gaining experience in the automobile sector.
Placements: Approximately 60% of Eco Hons. students got placed, while the remaining 40% includes students who wanted to pursue higher education or prepare for government exams. The highest, lowest, and average package offered for our course were 23 LPA, 5-6 LPA, and 9.5 LPA, respectively. Placements: In my batch, there were 101 students. Talking about placement, I will keep it in a poor category but else other things were good. There is a society called Disha placement cell. They provide you with the placements but I don't have much idea about their working.
Placements: The placements in the Botany are not corporate driven. The students opt for internship in research institutes like CSIR, IARI and ICAR etc. Some students prefer research projects available in the college itself. The package for internship varies with each research institute.
