Placements: The placements were normal. The minimum package was 1.2 lacs and the maximum was 4 lacs. Urbanclap, Ernst & Young, Clairevolax, American Express, Uber, Genpact, NIIT and many more companies visited the campus for recruitment. Additional to this, there were a number of internships offered for all the streams.
Placements: The placements are good for a graduate. 10-12 companies visited the campus last year. The average package offered to the students was 3 lacs, which is a good amount for a graduate. The placement cell is also good and works closely with the students. Almost 50% students got the internship from the college as well during our project in the last semester. Overall, the placement is very good.
Placements: I personally didn't experience any interviews yet. But according to the seniors, most of the startup companies only visit our college. Though some of them are renowned ones too. But they do not offer desired jobs and packages. This year many students get placed in E&Y, companies like Urban Clap, Genpact also visited our college. Jobs like content writing, research work, data analyst was offered. Average package was 4 lakhs pa.
Placements: Although the college had a placement cell, but very few companies came for placements, specially for science and arts courses. The companies that came were mostly hiring commerce and economics students. The average package was around 3 to 4 lakhs. Internship opportunities were not provided to the students. Mostly students had to seek placement off campus.
Placements: Maitreyi college has its own placement cell but the placements are not good. Very few companies come for placements offering a package of around 20000- 30000 per month. Ernest & Young, Aditya Birla Money Mart are few major brands that came for placements. Around 30% of the batch gets placed. Many students opt out of placements to pursue higher education. Most companies usually ask for commerce courses students, so the scenario for science is worse. Alumni network is not that great. ...
Placements: Top IT companies have visited this college for placements. Few of my batch mates got placed in prestigious companies and were offered decent salary. Mostly placement are done by the university cell. Placements also depends on the course chosen by the students.
Placements: 30% students placed. Highest salary 4 LPA, lowest 3 LPA. Companies like EY, Evaluserve, Clairvolex, Urban Clap etc came for placements offering roles related to business development, process associate, assurance associate. No internships were offered for our batch in 3 years because the placement cell came into effect in 2015-2016.
Placements: There were no placements offered to maths honours students as such but there are placements for BCom(H) and they are pretty good. Companies like L&T, Aon come. Students would get an average package of around 2.3 lakh per annum. There is also an online portal for du (all the DU colleges) there you can apply and attend their meetings seminars and get placed over there.
Placements: Placements in Maitreyi were not that great. Not many companies came for pure science courses but they did come for courses such as B.Com and Economics. Percentage of students getting placed was low and the highest package offrered was not more than 4 - 5 lakhs per annum.
Placements: Placements are not satisfactory. There was a very small percentage of students who actually got placed then with the highest package of around 4-5 lakhs per annum. Companies that came to the college were mostly that required commerce background, so science students got quite a less chance to apply for companies, which was kind of a disappointment. However, a lot of students got the opportunity of internships with a decent stipend.
Placements: The placements are good ,and provided by Delhi university via a pool campus. The placements are usually in good firms and companies with decent packages , but students usually preferred to do further studies after BSc. The faculty members help us to choose and prepare us about the placements, and they also inform us about the companies as well.
The faculty is very good. All the staff members are well trained in their respective fields. The quality of methodology of teaching is very good. Regular tests are conducted every semester. Project/assignments are given to every individual. Internal marks are been allotted on the basis of individual's performance in these tests and assignments.
Nice College to study in for regular classes, Faculty members are fully co-operative, helps students always. Had a great experience of my life in this wonderful college. Spent Wonderful three years of my life. Great Campus area. I still remember the food of canteen. Nice time spent in canteen with my friends.
Beautiful Garden, Basketball court, Ground and Amphitheatre are the best parts of Maitreyi. It's worth being there. Courses and Faculty is equally good. Bhel-pori and Dosa of the canteen are delicious and mouth-watering. Overall, a beautiful college of beautiful girls (by heart).
I think it's a good college for science courses. Although, the Arts Faculty is also quite hardworking. The college is best known for its Amazing union and awesome South Indian food. The Commerce courses are also emerging and raking in huge funds through different events every now and then.
Placements: Placements for Physical Science with Computer Science students at Maitreyi College are good. Around 80% of students from this program get placed, with the lowest package being around 2-3 lakhs per annum and the highest being 9 lakhs per annum. Some of the top recruiters that visit the campus include renowned companies, although the specific names are not mentioned. The college's placement cell, Horizon, plays a significant role in connecting students with potential employers.
Placements: There are total 110 students in thsi course. Fees structure of this course is around 11000. 80 percent of students got interns from this course. As my course is political science hons. So students of this course prefers to go for government job instead of work in any company.
Placements: There are many science courses in this college, but BSc Life Sciences has its own importance in terms of internships, workshops, seminars, and placements. Additionally, we have a student exchange program. Last year, the selected student was from Life Sciences. Every year, the college holds a program for science students called the Summer Internship Programme (SIP). Once it is complete, the college organizes an event called Equinox, where students do paper presentations based on their research an...
Placements: In 2022, 123 UG students and 6 PG students secured placements, with approximately 30% of students getting placed. The average package was 4.67 LPA for UG students and 4.60 LPA for PG students. Recruiters included Amazon, OYO, TresVista, Cvent, Wipro, and others.
