Q:   Is MBBS at Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences a good choice?

    A:
    {Source: MBBS students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what stands out:

    Pros:

    * Excellent Faculty: Students praise the faculty members' qualifications, knowledge, and willingness to help. Many professors are retired doctors from renowned institutions.
    * Good Infrastructure: The college boasts modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a central library, and a large playground.
    * Practical Learning: Students appreciate the hands-on approach to learning, including clinical postings, internships, and observations under experienced doctors.
    * Respectable Reputation: Alumni mention that having an MBBS degree from Malla Reddy Institute opens up opportunities for post-graduation, employment in government or private hospitals, and even international studies.
    * Friendly Environment: Reviewers comment on the college's positive atmosphere, encouraging extracurricular activities, and regular festivals and events.

    Cons:

    * Semester Exams: Some students find the exams challenging, with a relatively low pass percentage of around 85%.
    * Food Quality: Although the food is considered decent, many reviewers agree that it gets monotonous over time.
    * Limited Placements: Since MBBS does not offer direct placements, students typically opt for further education or seek employment in the healthcare sector.
    * Limited Sports Facilities: While there are designated sports areas, some students feel they could be better utilized.

    Conclusion:
Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences appears to be a good choice for students interested in pursuing a career in medicine. With its strong faculty, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and emphasis on practical learning, the college provides a solid foundation for aspiring doctors. However, students should be aware of the potential drawbacks mentioned above and prepare accordingly.

    Best infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: We as MBBS students have practicals and internships during and after our final year. We observe our doctors and learn how to treat patients. We have the best clinical postings; all the students who have qualified the NEET exam take admissions in our college. We have practical classes with all the equipment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. The building, the library, and our playground are excellent. They conduct sports every year, and we have a fest during which all the extracurricular activities are performed by students and faculty members. They also conduct inter-college competitions.
Faculty: The faculty of our college consists of the best teachers. They are really helpful and solve our doubts. The faculty members are qualified and also treat patients in the college. MBBS is the only course where doctors themselves take classes for students. Semester exams are hard for some subjects.
Other: I like MBBS. As MBBS students, we get exposed to various types of cases during our clinical postings.

    Really good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: In MBBS, there is nothing like placements but after completing the course people usually go for Post-graduation or work as a junior doctor (Non-academic) or medical officer (MO) in Private hospitals or Government hospitals or some might even go abroad to pursue their higher education.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi is available in hostel and library, it is not available in classrooms and laboratories. Like every other hostel, the food initially you'll find it really good but with time, it will get boring. There are 3 canteens within the campus. Free medical facilities for students are there.
Faculty: Teachers are great and very helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. There are tests almost every week. There will be 2 internals or 3. In MBBS, there is no semester system so there will be final university examinations where the whole year syllabus will be included.

Our college has the best infrastructure, qualified faculty, and dream place to pursue Medicine.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are huge with centralised air-conditioners. The capacity of lecture halls is more than 200 persons. Campus has a central library and hostel within the campus. It has a cricket ground, football ground, and basketball court. There are cafes and places to hang out. It is well planned with greenery.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and do their job well. MBBS is a tough course. The course followed is the same as proposed by NMC. MBBS is a 5-year course, 4 years of study, and 1-year internship.
Other: There is a fest every year. There is a cricket league and other sports activities like chess and table tennis tournaments.

This college provides a good campus and hostel, but the mess is not good.
Placements: There are 150 students in 1 batch, after completing the MBBS course students can join as government medical officers or they can join private hospitals. According to our convination, MBBS has a good opportunity in future and there is huge scope for the medical field.
Infrastructure: The college has very huge laboratories, dissection hall, library. There are 2 canteens on our campus. The college has its hostel, and it is on-campus, and hostels are not far. The hostel provides Wi-Fi service, hostel food is not that good.
Faculty: There are a total of 4 years, the first year has 3 subjects anatomy, biochemistry, physiology. For passing each year students have to score at least 50% marks in each subject. Faculty members are very good, in anatomy they have to do dissection on their own, and the course is good.
Other: I opted for this course due to my bright future.

A wonderful college with better infrastructure, good academics and sports.
Placements: 80% of students got placed. The average salary offered is 50,000 per month. Doctors got internships in the same college, as doctors don't get placements from companies. But all the students became doctors. Doctors are skillful and have to work in the hospital to save lives.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are clean and renovated. Cricket, basketball, football, and badminton grounds are available. An auditorium, proper and well-maintained labs and classrooms are available. The faculty are the best. Wi-Fi is available in our college. The hostel mess food and canteen food are good and hygienic.
Faculty: Every teacher is helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Becoming a doctor is a really appreciable thing as we are lacking doctors already. Semester exams are difficult, and the pass percentage is 85%. It is necessary to have good doctors in society.
Other: I chose MBBS as it's my passion to become a doctor. Every year, we have fests, events and also an annual day. Extracurricular activities are encouraged here, along with sports and academics.

I love my college it has made me who I am today I recommend this college
Placements: We usually don't get placed after our MBBS completion so we did not have anything like placements rather we had a great exposure to know wide variety of diseases. We learnt the ethics of being a good doctor and most importantly we gained the respect and faith of the patient.
Infrastructure: Everything in the college campus was world class our classroom resembles movies. We had good Wi-Fi in the hostel. The food in the hostel is boring but edible. We don't have much chance of playing any sports but we have a good cricket ground and an open auditorium.
Faculty: The teachers show a lot of concern regarding our education and they guide us all through the time and most importantly they will be with us during our thick and thin. There are some cultural activities in the mid year. All of the teachers and the faculty are retired individuals from Gandhi and osmania.
Other: I had an immense love towards being a doctor and to cure the illness of patients so I made my decision of being a doctor and a HEALER. It's a long process to be a doctor but as everyone says there is a lot of rough path for a stone to be a diamond I don't think anything can change. There will be ekthava once every year the government scholarship will be availed.
