The college of marine- The MANET.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful as well as having Ph.D.s in their subjects and having a lot of knowledge. Teaching quality is like 9/10. The course is also good, and it's very related to our course. The semester exams are here and are very easy, not hard, but okay, so if you are having an average brain also, then you are going to do a good job in it.

Strong Practical Training and Career Opportunities, but Room for Improved Support and Activities.

Faculty: The teachers in the B.Sc. Nautical Science programs are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with most faculty members having extensive maritime experience. Their industry insights provide practical relevance, and many are approachable for clearing doubts and offering guidance. However, teaching methods could benefit from more interactive sessions to better engage students. The course curriculum is highly relevant and tailored to meet industry standards. It covers critical areas like...

The college has extremely good placements and provides a good environment for development.

Faculty: The faculty are very friendly. They were easily reachable and willing to help resolve any academic or personal problems that arose. The curriculum provided a well-rounded education, and there were a total of six semesters, each with two exams: a midterm and a final.

I recommended that students join MANET.

Faculty: Our teachers are excellent. There are very few admissions in MANET, with about 10 to 15 students in 2023. Therefore, they are trying to fail students and make them repeat their semesters to gain funds for running the college. In 2020, there was a batch of B.Sc. in nautical science students. They are currently in their 3rd and final year. Their first-year results were declared in February 2023, and almost 50% of students failed their exams. Now, the college is trying to make them repeat this part...

Our college has the best faculty members and industry-ready cadets.

Faculty: Our teachers mentoring in this academy are highly trained professionals in the merchant navy, having completed many years of service in the merchant navy as chief engineers, captains, and superintendents. The course is very well drafted to make the cadets employable in the outside world. This includes various initiatives taken by the faculty members, such as the MANET Comprehensive Training Programme, where cadets get hands-on experience beforehand, which makes them industry-ready. Good faculty members, above average placements, Infrastructure is best from others.

Faculty: Most of the teaching staff has hands-on onboard experience. The chief engineers and captains with more than 20 years of experience onboard teach us. The syllabus and the curriculum are revised after a few years but there are a few subjects which we are studying but are of no use onboard.

It is a good college to build up the career especially for girls.

Faculty: Our teachers are skilled and they have good knowledge. They teach students in every manner so that students can understand clearly. Extra classes are also conducted by faculty members for weak students and make their concepts clear. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry.
