B.Tech. in Textile Engineering - Batch of 2015
Offered by Manikya Lal Verma Textile and Engineering College (MLVTEC)

In 2015, some students got placed in the most reputed organisations in India, like Vardhan Groups.
Placements: MLV Textile is one of the well-known government colleges in Rajasthan. I think almost all the students got placed in the campus placement or off-campus. I'm working in Birla Cotsyn (India) Ltd. Most of the people told me that MLV College is a very reputed college in India, and their students are stabilised all over the globe.
Infrastructure: MLV Textiles is one of most famous colleges in India because of its unique subjects. It has a large lecture theatre, large textile machinery laboratories, mechanical machinery, IT labs, and it includes many activities like cultural events, fresher party, alumni party, and sports events. The college provides good hostel facilities for their students.
Faculty: Textile technology, textile engineering, textile chemical, information technology, electronic communication, and mechanical engineering courses are available in MLVTEC, and the government gives GAS (government added seats) for brighter students with lesser fees than normal fees.
Other: The government of Rajasthan added some seats for bright students with less fees and gave scholarships to the most of the students.

According to me, it is not a good college.
Placements: The placements in our branch, TE are good. Also, other branches like in TT and TC are good. But, in other branches like ME, EC and IT, zero placements are there. The highest salary offered is 3.4 Lacs, and the lowest is 1.2 Lacs. There is mostly all textile company comes, but also, Aravind blacklisted our college. It is good in textile but not for other branches.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good like free Wi-Fi is available, but does not work in all places on the campus. The classrooms are very old, not modern. The medical facilities are zero, also, no canteen in 2015, but I heard they started a canteen in 2017. The labs are poor with very old textile machines. Sports and games facilities are very good.
Faculty: About faculty, mostly there are very seniors in their own fields. They are qualified and knowledgeable, but little bit helpful and very arrogant in nature. They threaten to fail us many times because it is an autonomous college, so be careful. The teaching methods are very old which are not used in modern days. There is old machine lab to study, also, old books. I guess, no books. We do study from notes which are been used from the starting of the college, 1992.
Other: Every year, an event is done. Campus crowd poor. No scholarship is provided by the college, only the government 'provides for the minority and for poor.

A nice college for B.Tech courses.
Placements: The placements are offered by more companies like BSL. The college arranged interviews of Reliance, BSL RSWM RAM. These companies selected 80% of the students. Then they conducted a group discussion, then arranged a personal interview.
Infrastructure: The college is an autonomous engineering college of Rajasthan. There is no difficult condition. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The library has at least 13500 books. There are more 2,50,000 digital books. There are well-equipped laboratories.
Faculty: Bachelor of information technology, bad textile chemistry, bachelor of textile engineering, and textile technology are the courses offered here. This college is good. The candidate should have passed 10+2. The college has many courses and degrees. Selection will be based on the university forms.
Other: Wi-Fi enabled campus. The campus crowd is very good. Both girls and boys hostels are available.

Other: It is India's one of the best colleges in Textile engineering. The campus, faculty, labs, and crowd everything is just amazing. My college has renowned professors in India. They used to visit IIT Delhi to give guest lectures on Textile Tech. We have superbly maintained Labs which has original equipment's such as (Looms, Lathe machines) where students make clothes (yarn fabrics) on their own. We have so many extra-curricular activities also. Placement is 200% in Textile Eng.
