Faculty friendliness superb, Student-friendly college, Poor inflow of patients.
Placements: This is a professional course wherein students after completion of graduation opt for post-graduation mostly. A few students opt for a drop year wherein they prepare for the master's degree entrance exam or they opt for going abroad for higher education. Quite a few students opt for abroad education from this institution because with the quality of teaching you receive you can easily clear off the theory papers. Most students who appear for the master's degree entrance exam qualify for it and a handful of them start practicing dentistry.
Infrastructure: As it is known to everyone, MCODS Bangalore has the best of equipments and infrastructure for its students. Starting from digital X-ray machine to CBCT scan to microscope for Root canal treatment to CAD-CAM machine to keep up with the pace of the world. The library facility is amazing with super-fast internet provided by the college itself. It's large and spacious and centralized air conditioning. It has different sections for undergraduate students, postgraduate students and staff. Ample number of books are available. Hostel has all the variety of rooms from AC rooms to non AC rooms to shared rooms with common bathrooms. Food was manageable and in case you don't like food you always have Zomato Swiggy Uber eats to satisfy your hunger. The number of inter batch games are organized and also interdepartmental matches have been played by students. Marena, a sports complex at just 100 meters from boys hostel is a good place to play or gym or even have outdoor sports. Adding a feature recently was the availability of recorded lectures in case you have missed them or want to reattend the lecture.
Faculty: The best thing which I loved about the college was a student willing to learn can approach any teacher at any point of time. Be it solving doubts regarding class or discussing question paper or anything. Teachers are available 24x7. The course curriculum is based on the ground rules set by the dental council of India and is pretty good. Students are encouraged for doing more research. As our college believes innovation should be always encouraged. The bad thing is the lack of many patients. The college has a low inflow of patients.
Other: MCODS has an annual event called as dental week in which various co-curricular activities are organized for one week and then immediately within a month we have the intra University fest for almost 5 days. Other than that students also participate in various inter-college competition in the city. The city is well connected by roads, rail, and air. It's very student-friendly campus.

A great institute to begin your journey in dentistry.
Placements: Since it is a dental college, placements are not conducted on the campus. However, the rate of acceptance in MS programs is quite high. Employment opportunities are provided in dental colleges, hospitals and private setups. Campus placements don't exist in dental colleges.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is at par with high course fees. The latest technology might not be available for students as it is a teaching institute. However, appropriate amenities are present on the campus. A separate department exists for dental materials. A separate dental building is located adjacent to KMC hospital. However, the patient inflow is pretty average as well. There is a 4-storeyed health science library, and it is open to all students. The Wi-Fi routers are present almost everywhere, and it is provided for free to every student. A wide array of hostels are available. A well-equipped gym is available at a minimal fee.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very approachable and experienced. They adhere well to DCI curriculum and beyond. Attention is given to every individual student while practising in clinics. Continuous education programs with visiting speakers are often conducted. Lectures are recorded and are available for viewing through an online portal.
Other: The campus is great, and it has a lively atmosphere. The campus is surrounded by beautiful beaches and hill stations. The food served is great. The campus connectivity with Bangalore, Goa, Gokarna, Mumbai, Chennai and Kerala is good.

Second best dental college in India 2017.
Placements: Almost half of our seniors cracked the exams to study post graduation abroad in the states and in UK. As this is the medical field, placement and companies are irrelevant. A lot of our seniors also joined AIIMS as junior residents. Some also worked as tutors in government colleges. The average salary of a dental surgeon is 25000, the highest reaching upto 60000.
Infrastructure: Our college has a 24/7 library with Wi-Fi, over 1000 Indian and international journals, a complete health center named mareena which has a gym, table tennis court, squash court, badminton court, cafeteria, indoor stadium, synthetic running pads etc. The lecture halls are fully air conditioned with a seating for 250 students at a time, they have a raised podium and a smart board. The food is awesome with North Indian and South Indian cuisines available. Hostel rooms are two seater with AC and Wi-Fi facilities.
Faculty: The teaching staff are extremely friendly here. They take care of all our needs. They all are well knowledgeable in their field of specification. The student to teacher ratio is 25:1 where we get special attention. There are a lot of discussions and debates weekly. Presentations by the students are also assessed in a weekly basis.
Other: We have a year long festival calender, starting with the ganesh chaturthi celebrations, dewali celebrations, onam meet, Christmas celebrations, a seven day fest dental week, Utsav which is famous in the whole country.

One of the best dental colleges of our country that's define it all.
Placements: According to the senior batches the placements are great. Nearly 70-75 percentage of students were placed (not so sure). No idea about the salary but they get a good sum of money. They have foreign collaborations with many companies. MS, professor etc. Various roles are offered.
Infrastructure: 24 hours Wi-Fi, Library is great with ample amount of books, Classrooms are neat and mainly smart classes are held, Quantity of labs are great, Quality of food is also good, Hostel rooms are great, Medical Facilities are best here, Sports complex is there which is best as far I have seen. Overall the infrastructure is great here.
Faculty: The teacher are professional here. They are really very helpful, I mean they stick onto you unless and until u get correct knowledge. The teaching method is great I mean most of us get knowledge by smart classes. The course curriculum is very much useful for us.

Completely satisfied and worthy college.
Placements: Our college has a paid internship with average stipend of Rs. 20,000. After graduating from this college, the chances of studying abroad is very good as people recognise and indeed, it is one of the best dental college in India with an amazing staff.
Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped and have a good supply of instruments required for working at all times. The library contains every book possible and has various rooms for studying. The food in the canteen is well cooked and by a student's budget. The hostel room is well-renovated with an air-conditioning option for those who want it.
Faculty: The teachers are always prepared for classes. They conduct quizzes and always keep on improvising their teaching methods. They mentor students for research and encourage them. There are at least 10 teachers in each department which is a very good student to faculty ratio. Teachers also conduct various camps for helping the students to gain a better knowledge along with various innovative competitions to keep them motivated.
