Placements: As biomedical engineering is fairly a new branch, my seniors complained of having too few companies come looking specifically for biomedical engineering students. However, because of the small batch sizes and the several clubs and organizations in the campus, the interaction between students and companies is increasing fast. There are several companies in and around Manipal with strong ties with the department and any student willing to do projects and internships with companies are helped by th...
Placements: The placements for biomedical engineering are not as good as it should be as this branch is still in its beginning stages in the country. My seniors have been placed in Siemens Healthcare, Phillips Healthcare, GE Healthcare. Majority students go abroad for Masters in John Hopkins, NUS and so on.
Placements: The placements were good. Almost every student who appeared for placements got an offer. The CSE branch had the highest package offered. Other branches like IT, ECE, CCE (Computer and Communication Engineering) also had really good offers. Some of the prominent companies which came to the campus were Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Robert Bosch, Mercedes Benz, Cisco, Hyundai CE, IBM, L&T Construction, etc. The highest package was 28 Lacs offered to an IT student by Amazon. The lowest package offered ...
Placements: The placements are good for the B.Tech programme. For M.Tech, the placements are with the B.Tech stream only, but it is good. The companies like Mercedes Benz, Yamaha, Robert Bosch, Infosys, etc., come to the college for placements. 50% of the students of this stream are placed in the companies.
Placements: The placements offered in my batch were good as more than 90% of the eligible students were able to get offers from some of the reputed companies in the world. We had companies like Deloitte, Qualcomm, Wipro, Accenture, and many others. In fact, most of the students got multiple offers. Hence, as far as placements are concerned, this is one of the best colleges in India.
Placements: The campus placement is quite good as compared to other colleges in Karnataka. Manipal Institute of Technology will give you lots of chances to prove yourself in front of big fish (organisation) of the market. You can explore yourself not only in India even in the world. Manipal will provide you world class placement facilities. I got an offer from 2 big companies out of 6.
Placements: There are great placements here within reputed MNCs and also in well-known Indian companies. The placements of the senior batch were also good. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 6 lakhs per annum and the highest salary offered is Rs. 9 lakhs per annum. Here, companies of various domains visit every year. There is also a placement cell established at MIT which is very efficient.
Placements: The placements at MIT are getting better every year. The placement department has been doing an excellent job year after year to not only retain their industry partners but also make new ones. We had a wide variety of colleges coming to our campus ranging Microsoft and Amazon to TCS and Accenture. The approximate starting salaries were around 3 LPA and would go up to 23 lacs per annum. ECE department is well-known to have 100% placement.
Placements: Many companies come for the branches like CSE, CCE and IT. For other branches, the number of companies is lesser. The placements are overall good. It is not a guarantee though, placements are a little dependant on luck as well, so we can't completely predict.
Placements: The placements are decent for ECE graduates, though a lot of core companies don't visit. Hence, about 90% of ECE graduates have to take up jobs in the IT sector or as analysts. The average salaries that are offered range from Rs. 4 lakhs per annum to Rs. 5 lakhs per annum and about Rs. 10 lakhs per annum in the core placements.
Placements: Many of the students have got placed in reputed companies like Microsoft, who usually conduct hackathons, Philips, who have a lab in the campus and so on. EMC-2 is the company which has been recruiting Manipal students regularly. Manipal has a brilliant track record in placing the students all over the country as well.
Placements: Honeywell, Quest, Airex labs, Toppr, Deloitte, Mercedes, Cactus Communication, TCS, Wipro etc. are the companies that visit here. Don't expect too much for placements since the aeronautical stream is a wide branch, and only a specification will get you somewhere to the top in your career. Also, the Indian market is weak. If you are going abroad for higher studies, then this branch will be totally worth it.
Placements: Since the scope of biomedical engineering in today's world in India is not prominent and therefore finding the core companies related to biomedical engineering becomes difficult. However, the companies like GE, Philips, Siemens, Cerner, Johnson and Johnson have hired the students from the biomedical department of Manipal Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placement season in Manipal goes really good with the branches like CSE, IT, ECE, bagging the highest placements. Many core companies of the respective departments visited Manipal for placements. The placements are offered in two forms, P and P+I (placement+internships). The top recruiting companies included Samsung, Phillips, Nvidia, etc.
Placements: Major companies come to the campus and help the students to make a choice and have their dream jobs. The companies like Microsoft, Apple, HP, Dell, Mandavi Builders, Benz, Toyota and much more electrical companies will come to the college. The minimum package will be around Rs. 3,50,000 per month which is a good package. The major companies only come to the campus which will make a student encourage for his duty to serve for that company.
Placements: The placement varies from branch to branch in our college, for example in ECE the placement rate is 80-85% of the eligible candidates. Most of the companies coming here are IT related, so core jobs for mechanical, electrical, civil is rare. CSE branch has the highest placement statistics.
Placements: We have a very structured placement cell that helps bridge the gap between the students and the companies. In my batch, the placements were good for CS, IT, CCE and ECE departments where the students backed multiple offers with average salaries around 5.5 Lacs. The companies like Amazon, Cisco, Microsoft etc. Offered packages in double figures and an astounding number of students were placed in the same. When it comes to the internship, I felt it was relatively less as compared to the placement ...
Placements: Placements are really good, especially for the mechanical engineering department. The average package offered was 4 LPA, and some companies offer a package of above 10 LPA even. If one's CGPA is above 9, he/she is bound to get a package of above 10 LPA. Companies that offer packages less than 10 LPA usually select candidates with CGPA 6.5 to 10. If ones CGPA is above 6.5, he/she is eligible for most of the companies that visit MIT.
Placements: The core mechanical companies are very less. Many mechanical students get placed in the IT firms or analytics firm or finance. The average package offered is 3.5 lacs per annum. The students below 6 CGPA buck up and try improving. Even after the graduation, the college cares and offers the placement as an when there is an opportunity.
Placements: The placements here are better than the most of the private engineering colleges in India. Mechatronics is a new branch in India, so you don't expect 100% placements in India. The placements in computer science and information technology are very good. The mechanical branch has the best faculty in Manipal.
