Worth it if focused on goals. Strong placements & top-tier infrastructure in India.
Placements: Our college is doing well in placements, and almost 90-95 percent of students are getting placed. The highest package is around 60 LPA, and the average is around 11 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Microsoft, Uber, and Infosys. Almost 70-80 percent of students get internships in their last year of college, as it is a part of the industrial training programme. In my course, software interns, SDE, and nowadays AI intern roles are getting offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here at MIT Manipal is on par with most government colleges. The whole campus is covered with Wi-Fi, and we have multiple labs for each course. The hostel in which I stay is a non-AC common washrooms hostel, and the hygiene, considering that, is amazing, and there is absolutely zero complaint about that. We have multiple messes on the campus, and we can choose any according to our preference, and we can also change if we want.
Faculty: I think the curriculum is much better than what our seniors had, but still, there can be improvements in the curriculum, as we have certain courses that are not at all related to the stream we have chosen. Considering the changing world, our college changes its curriculum every 3-4 years. Faculty members are also very helpful and knowledgeable, with vast experience.
Other: I chose this course because it had a really good reputation. Also, if we ourselves are focused, then there are ample opportunities. Fees are a big issue, but if you can afford that, then one can think about the college as more than academics also, college has many things to offer, like fests, events and the amazing crowd.

MIT Manipal, one of the best tier 2 private colleges, is an absolutely cinema college.
Placements: For electronics and communications, you can expect 75-80% of students to be placed, average packages range around 11-12 LPA, and the highest goes to 55 LPA for software roles. Top recruitment companies are Deloitte, TCS, and JP Morgan for management roles, and Microsoft takes a great number of students. Internships are given to 30% of students, as an estimate. Top roles are for VLSI, telecommunication, and SDE.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is exceedingly good, though restrictive, and it works fine. Labs and classrooms are top-notch, but the library lacks a little, it is very overcrowded, and a lot of the crowd is there for time pass. Overall, it's great as an environment. The hostels are good, and for the mess, the food is decent and edible, not like those government hostels. Sports facilities don't lack even a bit. All sports are available, and the cost isn't that much.
Faculty: Professors are helpful, mostly non-egoistic, and help throughout. The teaching quality is great, and the teachers do help and actually put in effort. The curriculum might be a little old, but practical learning is offered by student projects and learning clubs. Semester exams are hard; they do make you go through a rough time. The pass percentage is roughly 85-90%.
Other: I decided to choose this course to enter the VLSI industry; the course is highly in demand and can help you get into any field of electronics as well if you want to pursue careers like finance and management. Maybe the faculty can be improved a little for my specific course. Events, etc., are very good; all kinds of singers come for the fests, and mostly fests are free as MAHE conducts 6-7 fests all through the year, so you won't be bored in this college. Scholarships are offered to a lot of people.

It is a decent college for the construction engineering course.
Placements: The campus holds a decent placement record of above 80 percent. The average package offered ranges from 5-7 LPA. The highest package offered is 15 LPA. Companies that visit the college are Tata Projects, L&T, etc. The internship program is only for the 3rd and 4th year students.
Infrastructure: Buildings are large and good. A huge library is present here. All classrooms are smart. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, including the hostel premises. The hostel facilities are better than those of other colleges present in the city. The mess food is good. Medical and sports facilities are also available here.
Faculty: Faculty members of my department are PhD holders or M.Tech qualified. Teaching quality is smooth, and it helps us understand difficult topics easily. The course curriculum gets updated each year. Students are very pleased with the curriculum. Semester exams actually test our knowledge and help us to bring the best in us. The pass percentage is above 87 percent.
Other: The best thing in my course is that there are more industrial visits to metropolitan cities than others.

It is a decent private college.
Placements: In computer Science courses, about 60 percent of students get placed. The average package offered is around 12 LPA. The highest package offered is 50 LPA by Microsoft. The lowest package offered is 6 LPA. Getting internships at the end of the 3rd year is hard, and only 20 percent of students get them. The top role offered is SDE. This year, Eli Lilly is the top recruiter, and they hired almost 50 students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and academic facilities are pretty good. Some hostel blocks are new, and those are pretty good. The old ones aren't that good. Sports facilities are under renovation, but they are pretty crowded and expensive. Medical facilities are almost free at KMC.
Faculty: Many teachers are awful. They don't have subject knowledge or do not know how to teach. The course curriculum is being improved every year. They remove non-CSE subjects and add more CSE-related subjects. Semester exams are made harder every year, but passing is still easy. At least 80 percent of students pass in most subjects.
Other: Scholarships are very hard to get, and they offer only 20 percent of fees. Fests have fallen off, and they used to be much better before.

Get to know a better side of MIT.
Placements: Placement percentage is nearly 80-85% every year. Talking about the 2025 placement, the highest package was around 60 LPA. The average package is around 13-15 LPA. Median package is around 12 LPA. As of 2025, top recruiters include NVIDIA, Palo Alto, Goldman Sachs, Tesla, Microsoft, and Amazon. The internship environment is good. Around 85-90% students get internships, and many get them converted to full-time employment. Top roles include software engineer, DevOps Engineer, Data scientist, System Analyst, and this year showed a rise in ML engineers.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is Wi-Fi connected (but it works a bit slowly sometimes outside the academic block), a very good centralized library with different varieties of books, along with book and online PYQ facilities. Smart classrooms with a recording system so that students can rewatch it. Well, computing & research facilities. Also, a whole building dedicated to student projects (Manas, Formula). Separate hostel for boys and girls with Wi-Fi support ( even though a bit slow sometimes) and both AC and non-AC options. Mess and canteen food are good. KMC plus student clinic is available. MARENA and MIT grounds for sports, games, and gym.
Faculty: Faculty are highly qualified. Some are excellent. Some are okay & few are not so good. But this is common in any college. Teaching quality overall 3.5/5. Modern industry-aligned curriculum, but still some subjects have no relevance & their applications are not much included. Opportunity to take electives & use NPTEL/Coursera for credit transfers. Internals are of 20 marks, mid-semester 30 marks, & end-semester 50 marks. Generally, the pass percent is 35-40% ( but a minimum of 18 in the end-semester). Exams are moderate level, focusing on checking both theory and numericals.
Other: I wouldn't say the best or the worst college. There's nothing so special or bad about teaching or curriculum, but the research, exposure, project, creativity, and hands-on project environment are superb. The student projects and clubs are really good here. Campus life is awesome. Each nearby is best. Festivals are also good. Overall, it's a good college to join, guys.

MIT, MAHE Manipal College review.
Placements: The placement in our course was extremely good. The highest package offered in our course was 12 LPA. The average package was around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Biocon, Lupin, Cipla, etc. Almost 80 percent of students received internship offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available for our college was very premium. Wi-Fi facility, modern classroom, and library with a huge collection of books. Labs were well-equipped with instruments. The quality of the hostel was very good. A medical facility was also available. A sports complex was present.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was also good. The course curriculum was relevant. The college had various clubs for research and development, which collaborated with companies to make students industry-ready. The semester exam was a little hard.
