Satisfied with the college, but some of the faculty were not good regarding their behaviour.

Placements: Placements provided in the college were good. It used to be better before 2 to 3 years. Now, they are charging high fees because of their placement success. Most of the students got placed in MNCs which are not very good in terms of their packages. Some of the good companies which offer packages more than 6 LPA also hired the students.

Perfect infrastructure and campus life, but it comes with a cost.

Placements: During 2012-2013, the internet and online e-commerce steadily made their way into the Indian economy. As a result, a lot of IT related companies visited our campus for placements. Companies like Deloitte, Microsoft, Oracle, Accenture, etc., have visited our campus. E-commerce operators like Amazon and Flipkart also visited our college for placements. A few more companies like Mu Sigma and Futures First also visited. In the core sector, companies like TATA Motors, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., Hero M...

The infrastructure of the college is excellent.

Placements: The placements were good for us as well as for the students of our senior batch. At the very end, everyone who is eligible for placements was placed. The highest salary packages are offered by companies like Cisco, Freescale, Deloitte, and Musigma. Students need to search for internship opportunities on their own, and they are encouraged to do multiple internships. The placement cell is very effective in inviting reputed companies to college and making sure that everyone gets placed at the end.

Satisfied with the overall experience of the college.

Placements: Placements of Manipal Institute of Technology are quite decent. Most of the companies that visit the college come for recruitment are related to IT-services, so they hire computer science students. As far as placements of other branches are concerned, all the students get placed, but there are not many core companies for mechanical, electronics, and electrical.

Placements: Placements in the college are quite good, and all the students who are eligible for placements get placed. The highest packages are bagged by students from computer science and IT branches. Most companies come for the placements of computer science and information technology branches only.

A great place for all round development of a student.

Placements: The placements provided for my batch were pretty good with maximum students bagging IT/ITES jobs and a decent amount of core jobs. Some students got placed in financial consulting roles as well. Some companies including ABB, Accenture, Amazon, Schneider Electric, Samsung, Tata Power, RIL, JSW, TCS, IBM, Infosys, Maruti, etc., visited the college.

The students of other branches have good opportunities, but the package is low. The packages differ a lot, and the average package offered was around 5.5 LPA. A good college for personality development, many activities, clubs, events to participate in, still.

Placements: Placements for IT streams, Electrical Branches are really good, but not the same for other departments. For auto dept. Very few core companies came for placement namely Honda Cars, Mahindra. IT companies like infosys and TCS are there for mass recruitment. For Automobile dept. Around 15% students got placed, the numbers are higher for other branches like IT streams, even Mechanical students are not placed to the par.

A good engineering college.

Placements: In my batch at least 85-90 % were placed. I am one of the 10% because I chose not to attend placements and go for higher studies. But I kept track of my friends. Salaries offered by the companies which came varied from 3 LPA to 15 LPA depending on branch and GPA of individual. Both core and management jobs were offered and all companies had their own interview process.

Placements: Placements are a very good sight at Manipal. Majority of the students that apply for the placement interviews get in. The highest package that was offered during the campus placement was 42L. This was bagged by a student from the computer Science department.

Best college, highly recommended, very good placements almost every year. One of the Best campus.

Placements: In our college we can expect 100% placements if results are good. Twice or thrice our college got 100 % placements. That's also Electronics and communication department have the highest portion for placements with best salaries of minimum 3-5 Lacs per annum. Even last year E&C department almost 50-60% placements.

Introduction to manipal institute of technology.

Placements: Quite good. Huge firms such as Microsoft, Samsung, Amazon, Goldman Sachs etc. Recruit en mass. Also the placement ratios are pretty good. In certain branches such as Chemical Engineering though most of the students tend to prefer higher studies rather than going for placements although quite a few good core companies recruit quite frequently.

Manipal Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placements scene in our institute is quite decent. Corporations like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Sandisk, Amazon etc. hire students from the Institute. The placement cell is very supportive and guides us whenever needed. Even in the V semester, we get an opportunity to intern at these companies giving us the exposure and in some cases the PPO.

Placements: Not yet into the placement timeline. We have filled out preferences and put our resumes in the loop but we are yet to hear from the companies and it happens in 7th sem. There are a lot of companies coming in for recruitments with internship+job or only internship. Looking forward to it.

Manipal is a great place to be, with few flaws.

Placements: The placements were good for IT and CS branches. Though in civil hardly 1/5th of the class got placed. The core companies were scarce, and mostly salary ranged from 3-4.5 LPA. Mostly software developing roles are offered, and a few big companies like GS, Amazon, and Microsoft have visited our college for placements. We have an active placement cell, but we need more core companies.

M.I.T is a college, where knowledge is fun.

Placements: We get good opportunities of getting placed as many core companies come for placements such as Vedanta, Sabic, Reliance, etc. Almost 60% of the students get placed here. Along with a core, many other major companies such as Jacobs Engineering and other high profile companies have been coming for taking students with them.
