Very satisfied with the overall experience.

Placements: There were a lot of companies that came for on-campus placements. The placement procedure was very sophisticated and effortless. The salary packages ranged between 3 LPA to 10 LPA. Some of the major companies were Mercedes Benz, Honda, Tata motors, Hero motocorp, Renault and Nissan, Maruti- Suzuki, etc. The placement dept developed a placement portal for a detailed and efficient placement procedure. Many students were recruited for internships and jobs.

Dissatisfied with the faculty, which can be compensated by infrastructure, placements and facilitiee

Placements: Placements were supposedly average according to seniors. A lot of gap in the packages varying from 12 LPA to 3 LPA. The large variety of companies come in providing everyone with a chance to participate in placements. The large companies such as Microsoft, Dell, etc. recruit a very small proportionate of members from the batch.

Good infrastructure and exposure.

Placements: Aeronautical Engineering is a highly specialised branch. Placements for our batch were pretty decent but most of the students after choosing this branch go for higher studies. Placement scenario was pretty much the same for seniors too. Few core companies are visiting the college.

There is an excellent infrastructure, good faculty, and an average placements.

Placements: The placements are almost 100% if you don't have any backlogs. The internships are a bit trouble. If decent GPA is maintained, then getting 6-7 LPA package is easy. Amazon, Microsoft, SanDisk, Dell, TCS, Wipro, etc. are the major recruiters that come to the campus. The highest package can go up to 20 LPA. The placement cell does its job well.

It is an excellent college to study.

Placements: Placements offered in this institute are very good. Let it be the core companies or IT companies. The starting packages range from 3 LPA to the highest being around 35 LPA. There is a placement cell. Also, Manipal has its incubator. Many students go for start-ups, and they are supported financially by the institute in the initial stage.

The college used to have good placements.

Placements: The placements are pretty average. The average package is around 3 LPA. The placement cell works efficiently, and all the students get an internship. The highest package offered was 10 LPA. The number of core companies that visit the campus is around 4-5 which is quite low.

Manipal - A home away from home.

Placements: The placements in MIT are good. Though we don't get the highest packages across the country and the average package is decent. There is a blend of both software and core companies visiting our college for fresh recruited. We have placements all along the 4th year. Most of the placements are along with the internships for the 8th semester which can be used as the project.

Good placements, good campus, but dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: The placements for computer science related branches like CSE, IT and CCE (computer and communication engineering) are extremely good. Many top companies visit the campus. There is also a chance of acquiring summer internships in the 3rd year and get converted to full time, even before the placement that starts in the 4th year. Overall, my placement related experience has been a positive one.

There are excellent infrastructure, amazing faculty and good placements. But too high fees.

Placements: Placement season starts at the beginning of the odd semester, for 4th years and 3rd years. Fourth years sit for placement (P), and Internship (I) offers, whereas 3rd years sit for summer internship offers (SI). Until the end of the first semester, around 80 to 90 companies came to campus recruitments (exact number may be more than that) and one more semester to go. Major recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, SanDisk, CISCO, HPE, Deloitte, KPMG, Exxon Mobil, Direct, Cerner, Citrix, Goldman Sachs,...

You should choose this college if you require the best performance in all fields.

Placements: It's always good in the number of placements. The companies are also standard companies. Many programs are there during curriculum helps to boost your performance for easy placement and certified courses in the college is very good. Microsoft visits the campus for recruiting the talented students as per the industry requirements, and MIT has succeeded in that.

Manipal Institute of Technology, a college with all modern amenities and the best infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are good. The core companies give a starting package of 6-7 lacs per annum. This is the only private college in India where Microsoft comes for placement. The branches of computer science, electronics and communication, information technology, mechanical tend to get more placement opportunities, though other branches can also have a good chance. It totally depends on an individual. Almost everyone gets a chance for the internship in Manipal. The average stipend can be Rs. 8,000-10...

A review of Manipal Institute of Technology.

Placements: The college offers excellent placements for its students. We had both IT and core chemical offers for our branch. Everyone who was eligible for placements was placed from my branch. A number of reputed companies like L&T, Reliance, Michelin Tyres, Vedanta, Jindal Steels came to the college for placements. The highest package offered in my branch was around 7 LPA while the lowest was 3 LPA.

Satisfied with the college experience but have to work on the placements and faculty.

Placements: Placements are okay. There are many companies visiting each year. Students get a fair chance to show their skills and get hired. But as the intake of students is more and each year the company visiting is fairly same, many students remain unplaced. Even if students are hired they don't get call letters for months from the company.

Overall, it is okay, if you can pay for this college since it is very expensive.

Placements: In terms of placements MIT, Manipal is way better than other colleges. As far as I know, average package for IT is around 8 lakhs per annum. Many companies visit Manipal like Microsoft, Oracle, Goldman Sacks, Siemens. Google doesn't visit MIT, Manipal because Google didn't feel that MIT Manipal has that potential to produce good students(seen in quora). The highest package was around 30 lakhs per annum, and the lowest is 3.5 lakhs per annum (this includes all the branches). For CSE MIT, Manipal h...

Best college in the country for overall development, but not affordable to all.

Placements: The placements are a bit better than other private colleges but not as good as NITs. CSE and electronics students get the placements. For other branches, it depends on the student and his calibre, but still, a lot of students can get placed in a mass recruiting companies. I'd give it a 3/5 for placements.

Placements: The 2015 and 2014 placement seasons were great for computer science and IT graduates. Almost 90% of the computer science batch had job offers by the end of the season. Various companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Inmobi, Directi, Samsung etc. showed up. The highest package was offered by Amazon at 24 LPA. The lowest packages were offered by mass recruiting companies like TCS at 3.5 LPA. Most companies that visited offered Software Engineering roles. Placements: The placements could be summed up as good. Companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, WDC (Sandisk) and Goldman Sachs did hire 6-10 students each with the average salary for information technology department rising up to 7 LPA (approximately). Among the other companies that visited our college, many of them offered PPOs and internship cum job offers too. Overall, the placement rate for my department was more than 99%, and companies looking for all types of students (research-centred, development-centr...

Excellent Infrastructure and faculty, with decent placements.

Placements: Placement for Mechatronics in the year 2017 was not up to the mark. Around 30 to 35% of the students got placed in various companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Fiat, Bosch, Mahindra and Mahindra, Renault, etc. Some IT companies such as Accenture, KPMG, etc. visited the campus. The packages offered were between 3 to 6 LPA. I got some industrial exposure during my internship at Volvo India Pvt. Ltd.

Manipal Institute of Technology - Placements, infrastructure, campus life and curriculum.

Placements: The placements of MIT are surprisingly good for almost every branch. The CSE and IT department have had a 100% accuracy when it comes to placements and it was the same this year with an average package for these two branches being around 10-15 lakhs per annum (LPA). The highest package was offered by Microsoft at 22 lakhs per annum. Great infrastructure, good placements and a wonderful environment to learn.

Placements: The placements in our branch are getting better every year. Our branch is relatively new and most people generally prefer to study further. Yet, many companies come and a lot of our students get placed with an average package of about Rs. 6 lakhs PA. Companies like Deloitte, Black Rock, Goldman Sachs, Bosch, Mercedes, etc. come every year. We generally get placed in the R&D division and other like departments.
