Placements: The placements in computer science department are good. Companies like Deloitte, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, SAP Labs, MU Sigma, Samsung and more visit the campus. Roles differ from company to company ranging from consulting to IT roles. Companies like Microsoft also visit the campus for internships.
Placements: Placements have been improving year over year. The highest package offered was around 20 lakhs. Companies: Deloitte, Microsoft, Samsung, S&P Capital, InMobi. There was no concept of internship during our time. The final semester had a project but we had to apply to companies ourselves or we could do a research project under any faculty member in the college itself.
Placements: The placements were not up to the mark for our batch and also for seniors. Combining two sections of my branch of around 85 students only 12-15 students got placed. The highest salary offered was around 6 LPA and the lowest was around 15,000 per month. Companies were offering roles of graduate engineer trainee, data analyst and future talent engineer to mention some of them. There were companies offering internships and a few were ready to offer stipend (I don't remember the companies). Mercedes...
Placements: The placements were decent and the companies that visited the campus featured some of the big names like Amazon, Accenture and many more. Most of the students who underwent the placement process got placed, with the highest going around 12 lakhs per annum and the average being around 4 lakhs. Many students also got internship offers from these companies.
Placements: Placements for our batch (only mechatronics) are not so good compared to other branches such as computer science, which has an excellent placement percentage. Around 30% of mechatronics students are placed. Some of the core companies that visited the campus are Bosch, Fiat, Mercedes Benz and Renault-Nissan. A written test was conducted by a certain company, which shortlisted some of the students for the interview, but did not come for the interview. The highest salary offered was around 21 LPA a...
Placements: In terms of core placements, we had companies such as Reliance, Honeywell etc. There were off-campus placements as well for Jacobs, Yokogawa etc provided by the placement cell of the college. Apart from core companies, there were big 4 companies and other big analytical companies. There were also IT companies for which many people sat. All and all, it was a complete process and there were numerous opportunities.
Placements: The placements were quite good for industrial engineering as most of the students opted for higher studies rather than sitting in placements. Students were placed in companies like Mercedes, Toyota, etc. with a good package of 3-4 lacs on an average. Overall, it depends on the students what package they can get based on their capabilities.
Placements: Companies which come for placement include Mercedes R&D, SAP, Maruti Suzuki, TCS and many more. It is completely dependent upon how much skill you have, to get a decent package. The highest package offered is 8 lakhs.
Placements: Aeronautical students are not eligible to apply for many companies coming to the college for placements as many offer IT-related jobs and the career cell is associated with very limited aviation companies. About, 30 percentage of the students are placed in non-aeronautical fields such as in business or IT-related etc in companies such as Accenture, TCS, Think & Learn etc. Aeronautical related companies are Quest Global and Bell Helicopters India who really recruit in a tiny number. The number of...
Placements: From Amazon to Goldman Sachs, various companies visit MIT, but the number of recruits is dropping every year. The placements are currently not that great. The average is about Rs. 4 lakhs per annum. These companies also give internships, though rarely. Mostly, the students intern via their personal resources.
Placements: Placements vary each and every year in terms of domains students get into. Most of the companies coming on campus are IT companies like TCS, Accenture, Wipro, IBM, Mphasis etc and more than 75% of the batch (who are eligible) got a job with the pay ranging from 3.1-3.5. Placements are good in terms of % of batch placed but with the kind of fee Manipal charges, only CS batch placements are justified (Their average being 7+ with Microsoft paying package as high as 16 lakhs). Core placements are go...
Placements: The placement results for the current batch was beyond expectation.Even during the times when companies have to think twice before recruiting, Manipal welcomed a lot of companies looking for fresh talent. Companies like KPMG, Mercedes, Seimens had a high cut off and strict screening process. The highest package depends on your talent and the profile the company has offered. Students of different departments have been placed under multiple offers giving them their choice. Few companies offered an...
Placements: The placement department of our college is approachable and good. However, the placements for our department are not good. A few departments can offer 95% placements, whereas ours doesn't. The jobs offered are both core and non-core and are of good quality. There are no core internships offered for civil, but we have non-core opportunities.
Placements: Almost all the eligible students get placed from Instrumentation and Control Department. Companies for various profiles like process engineer, project engineer, embedded engineer, data analytics, business developer etc. visit the campus. Core companies like Honeywell, Jacob Engineering, Siemens, and Wabag are regulars on the campus. For business development, data analytics companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Think and Learn have been regular visitors. Core and non-core companies offer the same packag...
Placements: The placements for my batch and senior batch were both good. More than 95% students sitting for placements get a job or an internship for the 8th semester. All students who get an internship receive an offer from the company to join because of the confidence the students have. I do not know the exact amount of salary offered, but Amazon usually offers the highest while TCS, Accenture and MNCs offer the lowest. Most of the roles offered are software-related because of the industry in India, whic...
Placements: Overall, the placements are good. About 60-70% of the eligible students get an offer. Last year, the highest package offered was 18 lakhs by Flipkart. The average salary ranges from 3.75 - 4.25 lakhs. A whole lot of companies visit the campus for placements, the popular ones being Mercedes (which hired 25 students last year, providing a stipend of 6 lakhs to most of them), Flipkart and other MNCs.
Placements: Placements in our campus were little low this semester regarding my branch as my branch is still not recognised by many companies. Even if it is recognized, they don't want to take our branch people or it depends on profile. Either way, overall campus placements were good as many good companies (core and non-core companies) came and took students from different branches depending on their eligibility. The average salary offered is around 5 LPA and regarding internships, they provide around 20K...
Placements: The placements are very good. Core companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Citrix, etc. have come with packages of 27 LPA. Minimum is 3.3 LPA from TCS and Accenture. Students were offered roles as a software development engineer mostly. 100% of the students were placed and majority of the students got internship in companies like Oracle, Citrix, AKS, Vodafone, Phillips, Honeywell, etc. Stipend varies from 15k to 25k per month.
Placements: The placements were very good. In spite of a recession out there, a huge number of students got placed because they increased the number of companies visiting the campus. 80 percent of students were placed in the first semester of the placements itself. The highest package offered was 14 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. Many companies came like Deloitte, KPMG, Qualcomm., Think and Learn, Microsoft, Amazon, Honeywell, Directi, Blackrock and much more. The students were offered various roles, right...
Placements: Placements were pretty good. They were almost 100% for the Computer Science branch. The highest package was 24 LPA CTC, the average was 4.4 LPA and lowest was 3.3 LPA. Developers, consultant, analysts. In computer science, almost 60% got internships with a stipend ranging from 10K to 30K. Companies like Microsoft, Cisco, Deloitte, Oracle, Amazon, Citrix and Mu Sigma were top recruiters.
