MCKV- could have been much better.

Placements: I graduated in 2015, in Automobile Engineering. MCKV being one of the only two colleges that offered Automobile Engineering was one of the main reasons to join this college. Out of a batch of 72 students, 11 got placed from campus and others had to struggle a lot to find means of bread and butter. One of the most prominent companies that visited was Mahindra & Mahindra, which was a dream company for everyone in the batch, but they hired only 4 students for the role of Customer Relationship Mana...

MCKV is a place with disasters.

Placements: There are a few companies for IT, but very less for core branches, and also they hire fewer students. Only 2 IT MNC companies visit the campus, but one of them is Tech Mahindra which don't provide any joining letters. The college won't take that much responsibility for this kind of scenarios.

The college is worst I have ever seen in my life.

Placements: There are no placement in our college. Our college don't call any company. There are very bad campussing and there only 23 student's are placed in 450.

MCKV INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING - A good college at academic level but placements is not good.

Placements: The placements are not good. They make excuses for bad market conditions, so major companies have very few numbers of opening. Last year Tech Mahindra recruited more than 70 students from our college but yet not received any call letters. So right now very tough to say this is good. More than 50 percent unplaced students are there from last 4-5 years.

Below the average. Do not join.

Placements: The placement was really below average in my batch as well as the senior batch. Only 2 companies came for CSE. 10% got placed from the college. The highest package was 4 LPA. TCS and Tech Mahindra only came for on-campus and took only 5-6 students out of the 60 students from CSE. The college doesn't help for any kind of internship. It is only the student's calibre in getting placed and getting internships. Students must have a source or enough contacts to get a nice opportunity. ...

Not so good, even not so bad but if you really want to be an engineer you can be from here, but if you've any extra ordinary or your personal talent of creativity, then it is not the perfect college to achieve your talent or your passion. I passed out in 2015, but I'm still unknown from the matter of the fact is, now the only thermometer is not the thing who has degree without brain.

This College is not good but if you want to do B.Tech in low budget, you can take admission in this college. College campus is very small and it is in the middle of town Liluah. Campus placement is very less only few companies come in this college and few students are placed in right companies and college also brings fake companies for placement. So in my opinion please do not take admission in this college.

There was a time when this institution was supposedly the best among private colleges In Kolkata but due to lack of placement efforts the reputation and rank has fallen in years. The highly talented teaching staffs left in past few years. No interest is taken by the management for encouraging the students in co-curricular activities nor are any such facilities provided.

The college rank has fallen in years because of lack of placement and poor college ambience. The aroma of success can't be sniffed anywhere in the campus. The lack of commitment from college staff and carelessness has created a terrifying impact of the campus on its students.

Poor infrastructure, best in west Bengal. Lack of good professors, library lacks the volumes, equipment are out date, poor job opportunities and exposure to industry. The course structure is out of date, poor training and placement cell, cafeteria is poor. Cultural life almost nil.

Don't think of coming here at all. Faculty is poor. They only make false campaign promises. Only good thing is that you can make good friends there. The practice classes are the worst one. Most of the time they don't take practical class properly. You will only lose your money if you come here.

Only thing you get here is show-off. College is very strict about their stupid rules which are not student friendly. You rarely get a single faculty who is interested in teaching. Everyone present here is just performing their duty. That’s all I want to say. Placements are average.

If you are coming for the degree then the college is ok, but if u want to learn then let me tell you faculty in mechanical are such that even the HOD is an associate professor. Faculty don't have any industrial experience and they would be able to give you a glance of the industry. For the summer training you have to manage for yourself or college will arrange it for you, which you would regret later as there is nothing to learn from there.
