Somewhat satisfied with the college as the placements are to up to mark.

Placements: There are hardly any placements, and even the majority of students at graduation level are not interested in taking part. The most recognised companies that visit are Earnest and Young, Axis Bank, etc. Most of the women who took admissions are independent and are mostly ambitious towards running their own business. The college provides a platform to establish and flourish within the campus.

Excellent studies but unsatisfactory placements

Placements: Placements were not up to the mark for commerce graduates. Only 25% students from my batch were placed. The highest package offered was 4 lacs. Some companies which visited the campus were Axis Bank, Decathlon and some other local companies too. The job profiles offered were not exciting.

Satisfactory. The overall 3 years experience was very good.

Placements: We were not provided with a job fest this year. Just one company, I.e. CONCENTRIX came for the placements. All the other colleges had placement drives. So this was non satisfactory, although we were really looking forward to it. I think the senior batches had placements. Hopefully the future batches will get good opportunities.

Best exposure to learning, but lacks in infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The placements are pretty decent. At my time, apart from EY, no other good company came. Mostly the companies were BPO & KPO, and the job profiles offered were of sales and marketing, and not specifically for commerce graduates. Maximum package offered to my batch was 3 LPA.

MCM - very much satisfying.

Placements: The placements of the college are pretty good as many reputed companies visit the campus and they take the best students of the college. Also many internship programs are conducted. Training is provided to the students to explore their personalities and be confident.

Good food, good parking, and good surroundings

Placements: Placements are not so good. Only 25% of the students are placed. The highest package is 4 lacs and the average package is 1.5 lacs. Some of the companies which visited the campus are Decathlon, Axis Bank, and some other local companies also. The roles offered are that of cashier, financial assistants, and some in sales also. No help for internships from the college. Students have to search for an internship on their own.

Absolutely satisfied with the infrastructure, faculty and facilities.

Placements: The placements were good on the campus. Good packages were offered in the interviews. Around 60 percent students were placed. It is not that placement was not good but it depends on the students after all. The placement cell organizes study abroad seminars, workshops, talks and internship opportunities for us.

Excellent studies but poor placements.

Placements: The placements for commerce graduates were not very good. The maximum package offered from my batch was 3 LPA. Moreover, the companies hiring commerce graduates were too low. The job profiles offered were also not exciting as we were only made to prepare good assignments. The placement of other courses like BBA and BA were quite good.

Dissatisfied because of lack of internships and placements.

Placements: A very few number of students were placed, and we can say that out of 150 students, only 15 were placed with an average salary of 2.5 lakhs. No internships were offered. We had a bad experience regarding the placements. There is no practical experience. The companies which came were just picking candidates for call center jobs.

Satisfied with the college facilities which are provided to us.

Placements: The placements of the college are very good. Many students were placed this year in front of my eyes. Our college provides the highest package of 9-10 lac and the average package of 4-5 lac. Almost 90% of the students were placed this year and highest package went to 8.8 lac.

This is a very good college but there is no exposure. The campus life is good. It is a very strict college and the rules and regulations must be followed. The teachers and faculty are very good and helpful. Courses like BA and BCom are very good. There is a lot of exposure in terms of extracurricular activities. The college should introduce more part-time courses.

The college has a big campus in Chandigarh and that too only for girls. A proper security has been provided for girls with a well-maintained infrastructure. The hostel life experience is average to minimal but campus facilities are on a higher side as MCM is situated in well-maintained surroundings. Packages and placements are average. The faculty is also up to the mark.

MCM DAV College is good for those seeking academic excellence. The faculty is really experienced and tends to help you out in every possible way. No surprise, we have most university rank holders in the Panjab University exams. Coming to the extracurricular activities, being in MCM automatically redefines the term to competitions, seminars, and workshops. We do excel in such stuff, but if you are looking forward to fests at a grand scale, you should really reconsider. As for the ambiance, yo...

Great teachers. Good co-curricular opportunities. Limited exposure to the industry. Limited placements for non-commerce students. In MCM, it's important for YOU to carve YOUR own place or else it's easy to get lost. Don't expect much with respect to college life or exposure to the real industry but for knowledge-seekers, it's unbeatable. The teaching faculty is experienced and helpful. In terms of infrastructure, the college isn't really fancy but what's worth are the seminars and workshops o...

Mehr Hand Mahajan College For Women, Chandigarh review .

Placements: The placement cell is not the very best one of this college. I hardly see anybody getting placed or at least getting an internship through the college, but there are many different opportunities available in Chandigarh for a student to pursue.

Overview of the college and infrastructure.

Placements: There is a very good placement cell drive that works to give placement. There is a yearly drive by the college placement cell that offers the students a chance in some very good companies that comes to recruit every year. A chance is given for a better career by the cell.

A good coll for academia and co-curriculars.

Placements: There were companies which offered good stripened but the jobs were demanding. The placement cell of the college is active but not much scope for bachelors of arts students. I would not recomend for placement. Yhe college can do more better in that.
