MCM DAV College for Women Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Chandigarh

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Many companies visited our college for hiring students. There is a placement cell in our college which is very useful, very active and offers great opportunities. About 40-50% od the students get placed every year. Teachers also help students in placements. They make the students able to perform very well in the interviews.

Placements: The campus doesn't provide placements. However, the faculty was certified in the field of mental health, so referral for internships and training was easily available for those who wanted to work, and guidance for further specialisation was given. My Majors was in Psychology, which is a professional course and requires further training, which was well assisted by the department.

Placements: Many placements are provided by our college. Almost 50% of the students were placed from our senior batch, and all the students were placed from my batch. The highest package offered was 9 LPA, and the lowest package was 2 LPA. Companies that visited our college were TCL, HCL, Wipro and many more.

Placements: Approximately, 70 to 80 students got placed from our senior batch which is almost 70% of the students who attended the placement drives. The highest salary package offered was 4 lacs per annum. A lot of reputed companies like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Genpact, Indigo Airlines, Tommy Hilfiger, etc., conducted placement drives in the college. Mostly, BPO, technical, and marketing jobs were offered to students. Internships like Swatch Bharat internship for a hundred hours were offered to students...

Placements: The college has a good placement cell for postgraduate students. Some companies offer placements to undergraduate students also, but that is limited. The college invites certain companies for internships, which benefits the students to excel in their career.

Placements: The placements are very well in terms of the number of students. The deserving students are placed in reputed companies with reasonable packages. Though when it comes to the companies, internships and training, there are numerous opportunities offered to the students.

Placements: Placements in the college are good, and it's a very reputed college situated in Chandigarh. The faculty are also very cooperative, and the staff also suggest and encourage you to do internship and management programs. The college is very good.

Placements: The placements in our college are very quite good as all my seniors are doing very well now. Most of them are into MNCs and Banks. The starting salary offered to them was Rs. 15,000 per month. Companies that visited our college were HDFC Bank, Procter and Gamble, Microsoft Corporation and many others.

Placements: The placements in our college are good. The teachers help the students in getting placed in good MNCs. The companies which visit our college are well-established and renowned. Professionals from the companies make us very comfortable during the interview.

Placements: The placements cell did a great job. A lot of companies visit the college during the job fest. The placements for postgraduates are better than graduates. All the students from different streams get opportunities to apply for jobs during job fests that are conducted every year in the college.

Placements: Placements are good in B.Sc. Job fests are organised every year. Companies like IBM, Infosys, Airtel, banking companies, other institutes, microtech, apptech, sibiz visit the college for placements. Minimum package of our college went to 3-4L whereas, the highest package was 20-25L.

Placements: Placements in MCM DAV are held every year for the 3rd year batches where meritorious students get their chance to show their skills, knowledge they have acquired during the course. Illustrious companies like netmeds, Sebiz etc. Visit the college and explore the talent of the students. Students are also provided the training and preparation material from the teachers so that they can give their best in the interviews.

Placements: There are placements for both medical and non-medical fields. A lot of companies visit the college for placements. They have their interview and group discussion rounds. Our college provides a platform for the students for future placements. In 2018, companies like Clarks, IDS Infotech visited our college. About 30-40% of the students were selected. Placements: MCM has a placement cell, where companies like Jet Airways, Tommy Hilfiger and Ernst and Young come to the college for the campus recruitment. Various other companies visit the campus for recruitment in MCM. The placement cell makes sure that students are placed with a good salary and in a healthy work environment.

Placements: The placements for B.A. is not very good because it is a private university. You don't think about placement because if you pass your degree with good grades, then you can apply for a job in any company so that you may be selected easily. You must ready for your interview so that you can apply for your job. If you think that you will get a job, then don't apply for your admission in MCM.

Placements: Campus placements in our college is worth it. Students get hired on the bases of tier capabilities and personality by top companies in all fields. Placements are done while keeping all the interests of students eg even airlines take part in the placement drives, International brands like tommy hilfiger also take part in the placements of our college.

Placements: Being a degree college no as such placements are provided by the college. But there is a job fest every year in the college wherein different companies come, you may showcase your self there and moreover a new placement cell is formed in the college. Which is providing new opportunities to the children, under this new programme various companies have come and picked up students.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is quiet good. The college offers placements facility to student. Many companies comes in the college to recruit the students. 20% of the students are recruited every year from the college in reputated companies of Chandigarh.

Placements: To be very honest, the placement was not that much good in MCM College because no initiative has taken. But recently Tommy Hilfiger placement was done in our college. They give around Rs. 2,40,000 package per month. We have a placement cell. For internship around 15 students was selected recently for Tommy Hilfiger.

Placements: There were no placements for my senior batch as well as for my batch. The companies like ICICI Bank and HCL and many others visited for placements. They offered profiles in accountancy, marketing and many more. The average package was 1.5 lacs per annum, and the highest package was 6 lacs per annum.
