Placements: Computer science, electronic and mechanical branches have got at least chances to appear in the campus drives organised by Cognizant, IBM, HCL, and many others. Also, few local companies of Tamilnadu based have come for the placement. But overall, the placement is very poor. If you believe in yourself, you may pursue your B.E here but no campus life. There is overburden pressure, no entertainment, and no open atmosphere of coeducation. There are overdominant sick people from the administration s...
Placements: My college placement was very good. Many students were placed in MNC companies, but only limited companies are coming to our college. Our college conduct placement training for the final year students. Our placement trainers are very helpful in my placement session.
Placements: More than 10 top placement companies are visiting our campus. 80% of the students get campus placement in both core companies and IT companies. L&T is the only company which has a tie-up with our college around Tamil Nadu. Micro miracle is the placement training which develops every student.
Placements: L and T formwork came to the college, and they took only 2 of the students. Some of the civil graduates even tried for IT but ended up in a call centre, and some of them had a call letter, but the HR didn't even make a call to them. That's Mahendra College in short. There are better colleges if you spend some extra money.
Placements: It has the worst placements ever. The percentage of students getting placed is less than 30%. But, they are paying Rs.3000 for placement each semester. Many of my friends (nearly 20 members) got placed, but till now, they didn't get the call letter. The college does not provide internships. It is the worst college ever.
Placements: The placement depends on the college's reputation. My college was not that capable to make good MNCs visit our campus. For the average students, my college is not capable of providing a good job in core departments. Most of the companies are BPO service companies and their packages are below the expected salary.
Placements: Placements were not so good in this college. Nobody got placed from the college. 0% students were placed. Salary is not disclosed by any company. Some consultancies visited our campus and maximum students have given money for placements. So in that way, they took money from students and gave fake offer letters.
Placements: The placements are not good. They are just giving aptitude and soft skills but they are not allowing all students for interviews. Only certain students are allowed and most of the companies are BPOs in that. All over, the placements were very bad in our college.
Placements: Some companies are coming in for placement drive but not many students get placed. Anyone can attend the placement drive. A maximum of 5 students get placed in a company. Recent companies which visited include Amazon, Flipkart etc. Many MoUs between companies like Danfoss, Axis Global Automation, etc. have been signed. The placements are okay. You can get placed if you are really skilled. The college tries to help you in getting placed.
Placements: Placement is a concern in MEC. As per my knowledge, for mechanical engineering, only 3 core companies came but I got placed in one of them. Placements for mechanical and civil are very poor. In my batch, only 11 out 185 are placed. The minimum salary offered is 10k and maximum is 40k but if you choose CSE, IT or ECE, you can easily get placed. Mahendra is improving placements day by day. They are providing placements training from 2 year onwards.
Placements: The placements here is quite tough. We have been continuously trained by renowned trainers from companies life Face, Smart, Micro-miracles, etc. The average placements is about 10-20%. Last year, the highest package was about 3.25 lpa. Many students going out without any offer letter, the average salary drops down to less than 1 lpa. The companies visiting is TVS Harita only for design engineers.
Teaching and studies was very good. Good transportation and good staff by our colleges. Everything is very good. Faculty members are nice. Technology and training teaching is very well. You will like it very much. Only food and hostel has taken change something to better.
I belonged to the second batch who passed from my college in the year 2010. Facilities are average. Faculty Members are skilled enough to teach and are more than average. But the college is located in a remote village far away from the city. You can't expect the top companies to come for campus interview.
A good challenging atmosphere to learn and work in. Well furnished rooms. Good quality labs and mess. Both North and South Indian food items are available. Faculty is very supportive, and lots of opportunities are provided to explore and innovate. Many competitions or workshops are held. A well-built canteen to hangout at. Two floored library with different magazines and environment.
Very worst college about the placement and the interview arrangements for the final year students. Food is so bad in the hostel and the hostel is not worth for the money and the mess Bill and hostel Bill are each separate and its cost too much. If you can stay outside there is no good water source and the college is not suitable for the girls who are coming from distance and there is no safety for girls and boys because there is so worst arrangements on each hostel.
Good college to go and come.. You can get a name that you studied in this college.. That's all.. No placements at all.. You have to find your job.. Nothing worth after that.. If you have no other college to study at all then come to this one.. Anyway you will enjoy if you are a bored person.
Best infrastructure and lab. I have mixed reviews for this college. Campus facilities and exposure are fabulous. The Placements are only average. The fee structure at my time of joining was very high, which I feel is not worth the money as the ROI is lowered. The faculty is not up to the mark.
Its infrastructure is best, but cost wise normal. Lecturers are good. Hostel food is best. Location near by salem, trichengode. Nearby dhabas are good. Good college. Recently got autonomous, AICTE approved. The faculty is ok but not the best. No Wi-Fi access. Placement is ok. But placement training is best in that area as compared to other colleges.
Mahendra Engineering College is a part of Mahendra Institutions. It started in the year of 1995 in Mallasamudram of Namakkal district. Long years back it had a good value. But on dates it has been changed as a business and no quality of education is provided. They were recruiting the faculty members from the in-house students.
